I am sure the lack of syncing across devices will also be a problem for lots of customers. Pros The auto tracking saved me time but that's really the only pro if you are on the lowest plan. Integrations are extra. Cons It wasn't easy to decipher what info you were downloading in reports. Memtime also does not sync across multiple devices. The customer service was shocking. I was not aware that when my subscription ended I would no longer have access to the data I had on the app which seems ridiculous as I was paying every month for it so surely the data belongs to me. I would never use this again, they’re a bunch of cheap cnts Pros I don’t have anything nice to say about the app, it’s shit at its purpose, and it’s worse to talk to the people behind the app. Cons Worst customer service, they chase you to the end of the world even after you finish your subscription and cancel your cards they’ll send you debt collectors to get paid for the months you don’t use the app! Pros Looked promising but anything but in the end. And honestly still too much to sort by hand in the end for it to make it show true results. Cons Crooks who do not warn about renewal. Even if they see you abandoned the app months ago and never used it - they do not care and charge. Also, the product is a bit clunky and does not allow an easy way to organize and manage products/clients/task. It is very manual and lacks setup copy or duplication features that could save time when on-boarding new clients Pros It tracks your computer activity and makes generating a timesheet much easier Cons Their business practices. They don't send a reminder about your renewal. Instead you get a receipt on your renewal date after they charge your card. When you call that same day to cancel, they refuse to refund your subscription. I was charged for a year of product that I no longer need. Very disappointed with them. Pros The software sort of worked. I was using it daily, but quickly stopped using it. Cons Memtime raised its prices and charged me for a 2-year renewal without notice. I contacted them immediately, the next day, as soon as I saw the charge on my card, and asked them to refund the money. They refused and said they would be keeping my money, even though I don't use the product. I consider that unethical. It makes we wonder if they are close to going out of business. It really does a great job tracking my electronic work activities, down to the minute. It gives a nice graphical representation of a timeline representing my day, which includes icons for each of the programs I was using. When step away from my desk for more than a few minutes or if someone is in my office, memtime will ask me whether I want to record offline time, which is great for meetings and whatnot. Overall I like it. It's a lot of data and that's what I was looking for. Pros Makes it easy to determine what I did all day. It's eye-opening to see just how much time I can spend on a single activity. Cons It seems to be geared more toward users who are billing customers for their time, and since I don't do that, there's a functionality mismatch with regard to those features. You get a clear overview and timesheets so you will save time for tracking your hours. Cons Their auto renewal for the contract. I do not need to use the tool anymore, however you do not get notified that the contract will be renewed. I just received an email with the invoice that my two year contract is automatically renewed. I reached out to the support centre however you receive an email that I should have checked the customer portal or when signing the contract. They can communicate with you when they can earn money, but they cannot communicate like a professional company to provide their customers a heads up. In two years a lot can change and like a normal company and human-being it should be possible to communicate in advance with regards to a new contract. Pros Easy to setup, very simple time tracking. Cons However: Absolutely shocking customer service. They plan on signing you up for 2 years into a rolling contract. They don't send out any notification that the contract is up for renewal. They simply send out an invoice and take the payment straight away. I stopped using the software after a few months and never realised I am still in a contract. Even their terms and conditions state that a payment reminder is sent and no emails are sent. If you check online, other users have the same issue. After 1 week of trying to get a refund of €240!!! they keep saying no. They are not interested in having happy customers or happy "ex" customers! Pros I think it's working ok, but stopped using it after some time. Cons The licensing business model is based on the bet on users forgetting when the renewal period is. I myself stopped using it and after a year I was billed for renewal (for two more years) even though I was not using it at all. I immediately canceled my subscription but was refused the refund. I think that in today's word its fair to bill your customers for using your software, and many solid companies do it its way. If you product is good, customers won't cancel.
