It's exactly what I need: it automatic, you don't have to think about starting the timer (and obviously forgetting it), and it tracks your online AND offline time. I really like the fact that you can have different levels of tracking and that it records which file you are currently working on. Since I've used it, I really get a grasp on my time spent of different projects. Cons In the beginning I found it a bit hard to use but the tutorials really helped me. Während des Tages arbeite ich an bis zu 5 unterschiedlichen Projekten und kann mit TimeBro einfach nachvollziehen wie viel Zeit in welches Projekt geflossen ist. Das spart mir einerseits Zeit und entspannt mich, dass ich nichts übersehen kann. Pros An TimeBro mag ich, dass das Tool übersichtlich darstellt, was in der Zeit am Rechner gemacht wurde. Das ist sehr hilfreich, weil man auch im Nachhinein die Arbeit nachvollziehen und Zeiten eintragen kann. Gerade wenn man an mehreren Projekten am Tag verteilt arbeitet, bringt es wirklich einen Mehrwert beim Timetracking. Die Idee von TimeBro finde ich einfach klasse. Cons Die GUI könnte durchaus verbessert werden. Teilweise ist sie nicht intuitiv und etwas verschachtelt. Leider habe ich dadurch noch gar nicht alle Features kennengelernt. Gerade bei der Analyse würde ich mir mehr Übersichtlichkeit wünschen. Cons The only issue I have, albeit minor, is I wish there were templates that could be set up when creating a project. I break a project into several tasks and adding them every time is redundant. Pros timeBro does exactly what I would want time-tracking software to do as a consultant. I love the side-by-side display of the calendar with intra-day activity on the left pane, and the right pane that allows you to easily drag-and-drop your project time allocations appropriately. The Timesheet is very easy to use for reporting and billing to clients. This has saved me so much time. I would highly recommend to anyone needing more accurate and faster time reporting. Cons No major complaints. The price seems high relative to other time tracking tools with additional features (that other users may think would be helpful). Timebro läuft im Hintergrund und ich kann später sehr genau die verschiedenen Arbeiten den verschiedenen Projekten zuweisen. Bei anderen Systemen musste ich immer manuell die Zeitaufzeichnung starten und beenden. Eins von beiden hab ich grundsätzlich vergessen, das erledigt nun TimeBro für mich. Pros Durch TimeBro kann ich die Verwendung meiner Arbeitszeit minutengenau nachvollziehen, ohne während der Arbeit einen Gedanken daran zu verschwenden. Durch die Integration meines Kalenders und der Aufzeichnung der Programme und Dateien, mit denen ich gearbeitet habe, kann ich am Ende der Woche genau nachvollziehen, wie lange ich an welchem Projekt gearbeitet habe. Die Exportfunktion der aufgezeichneten Zeiteinheiten ermöglicht die Weiterbearbeitung und Auswertung in Excel. Ein wichtiges Entscheidungskriterium war für mich, dass meine Daten auf meinem PC bleiben und nicht in einer Cloud gespeichert werden. Cons Die Exportfunktion für die Daten ist zwar logisch angeordnet, aber etwas versteckt. Hier muss ich jede Woche erneut suchen 😉 Das liegt aber wahrscheinlich an mir und nicht an der Software. Jeder Arbeitsschritt lässt sich transparent und vollautomatisch protokollieren und in Verbindung mit Daylite kann ich endlich eine lückenlose Zeiterfassung für meine Projekte realisieren. Cons Schön wäre es, wenn alle Einträge automatisch in meinem privaten Kalender (egal ob iCloud oder Exchange) landen sodass ich diese zwischen mehreren Systemen synchron hätte. Auch bei den Kunden hat man damit keine Diskussion mehr wie genau man denn abrechnen würde. Einmal timBro zeigen und das Thema ist durch. Cons Leider funktioniert die Rücksynchronisation der Zeitbuchungen (noch) nicht. Highly recommended. Pros Throughout my 20 year career in the industry, I have always struggled with timesheets. They always seem to get forgotten, and it's difficult to back track. With TimeBro I can forget about this as it does all the hard work for me. I can leave my time sheets for a week or two and I can still easily track my time, to ensure that I can charge precisely and honestly with my clients. I'm able to easily synchronize TimeBro data with my main time tracking app, making my overall reporting process very smooth. Cons Sometimes, there is activity tracked which I can't identify due to the website not maintaining data on which client I'm working on. The URL for a given website (e.g., QuickBooks Online) is the same for whichever client I'm working on. If there was a way to capture additional data, it would make my life even easier.
