Cons I'm not a fan of the Mood Board or Floor Plan creator but I'm also using them on the fly without watching any tutorials. I prefer to use Canva for MBs and Smart Draw for FPs. It is a great way for us to get clients to take the next step if they are struggling with just a mood board. Cons The 3d modeling tool. As a company that deals with high end furniture, it is difficult to find the correct skus to use. When first year was up, I was told by email that I was being moved to a plan that was 3x more expensive. Had to talk to customer service for an hour to figure out how to keep my cheaper plan, only to find out that many features have been removed from that Tier. They are intentionally pushing everyone into higher payment tiers. May have to switch to something else if they reduce functionality of my tier again next year. My disillusionment relates to the fact I had poor response from leads generated by HouzzPro. Over a two year period, two leads responded to my initial contact in regard to their requests. Of those two, one became a client. Pros Easy to find products and ideas. Budgeting. Cons Lead generation was difficult to understand initially. December 4, 2020 5.0 Pros I'm very happy that Houzz has partnered with Ivy! It makes the designers' job a lot more easier compiling mood boards, quotes, shopping lists, and invoicing! I am now able to track leads in more detail and use this as my CRM instead of having to outsource to another software. Out of the box, the tool is AMAZING! Cons One main improvement I would like to see is a more robust 3D floor plan modeling. We use it only for customer database and basic follow ups on the lead generation. It is a good platform for a starter company, with all the basic features needed for a complete workflow management. Pros \- Lead generation & customer communications. - Estimating, basic pricing. - Scope change is good - Property details, based on the address Cons Budgeting - its very basic. Needs to be able to separated materials & labor costs on the totals. We do not use the estimating or projects. Have briefly tried the design. Just not time to learn the other tabs. Pros We have had some good leads come through Houzz. We like the monthly flat fee - compared to per lead charge. Cons We still get leads that are not relevant to what we do. We have adjusted the parameters - but still get the unwanted leads. Reason for choosing Houzz Pro We had and still have HomeAdvisor \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] for Lead generator. We just keep this paused and only click leads we want.
