Easy to use, like that my team members are able to view everything

Not using the mood boards, sometimes when I forget to save a document everything gets erased which can be annoying

Pros

It keeps the leads organized and helps us know where they're at.

Cons

I used to be able to print a lead very easily. I don't use Houzz to keep track of leads because we have a system set up that works for us. But, since Houzz Pro has updated their software, it's hard to keep track of leads in a different way.

I love how IVY makes it so easy to track my orders, billing, and client project progress. Houzz Pro helps me stay in front of clients with great exposure.

Pros

I really like the exposure Houzz Pro gives me to my target audience for attracting new clients. The referrals I receive more than pay for my monthly subscription. I have found that organizations use Houzz to find me which has resulted in the award of local and statewide recognition.

Cons

Sometimes the "tagging" process using keywords to describe the contents of each photo can be cumbersome.

### "Set up is the hardest part ?"

Jury is still out. When I start seeing some ROI (return on investment) - as in paying clients - I might become your greatest fan. Right now I am very frustrated.

Pros

The on-boarding manager has been great. She really tried hard. However she can't do it alone. The other parts just don't seem to be functioning at a high level. Navigation through through my profile has been less than straight forward. Someone really ought to give that part a serious re-think.

Cons

Pardon the pun but the "back of Houzz" (meaning behind the scenes part like web site assistance and approval of photos) was HORRIBLE.

Cons

I don't know if the clients are really behind the app, lot of messages stay without answers

I have used this forum for over 7 years and have been very pleased. It all started with a small presentation that was put on in Grand Rapids, MI.

Pros

I am able to upload photos of my projects and my customer reviews add credibility myself as a contractor.

Cons

The newer PRO is too technical for me and I don't have the time to be that involved.

We highly recommend HOUZZ. HOUZZ is your webpage with all the add-ons. It provides clients with all the information necessary to contact you and for you to showcase your business and projects. HOUZZ PRO allows clients to be inclusive in their project timeline. You can link subcontractors, you have an estimating tool, you can integrate your software with your accounting platform, build templates and so much more and all so easy to use. The people from HOUZZ seek your feedback and genuinely take it on board to improve their service and software.

Pros

We enjoy the platform within HOUZZ to showcase our projects and HOUZZ Pro to engage directly with our clients and we love \[sensitive content hidden\]. I think without him we may not have stayed with HOUZZ. His enthusiasm is infectious and he goes above and beyond to assist you and he knows the product.

Cons

When we first integrated with HOUZZ we had issues with onboarding and log in which were difficult to rectify until Charbel started to work with us.

Overall, we are using HouzzPro as it helps us keep all of our project documents in one place. We use the invoicing and proposals. We enjoy the task list and note features.

Pros

It is helpful to have all of our documents for separate projects in one place.

Cons

Drafting program needs improvement. Integrating with Quickbooks has been complicated.

Was hopeful but was quickly disappointed

Cons

Useless CRM. Was promised by a sales person it could do all that I asked. I see now it was just a sales person saying whatever it took to make a commission.

Reason for choosing Houzz Pro

Houzz is a scam. We currently have Houzz Pro which we don’t use, just making a monthly payment and watch it disappear into oblivion. They sold us all these promises about their “CRM” and its total garbage. If your looking for software to assist you with your day to day financials, this isn’t the company for you. They will make all the promises and tell you what you want to hear, but be ready to feel scammed. If you want to throw your money away, this is second best to a craps table in Vegas.

Pros

I like that Houzz will do a direct Lead match or good lead match and only send to 5 people that could see the project.

Cons

I don't like the fact we don't receive enough matches, wrong match or no response back after we respond.

Reason for choosing Houzz Pro

We like that is is one monthly charge fee and not pay per Lead.

I Love the 3D drawings. Only wish i could to electrical locations and other things i need to put in for a permit for a professional standpoint.

lags sometimes and shuts down. Feels more for a homeowner than a professional.

Pros

I love the ability to add products to my catalog/individual projects and then create proposals and invoices from there.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the Mood Board or Floor Plan creator but I'm also using them on the fly without watching any tutorials. I prefer to use Canva for MBs and Smart Draw for FPs.

The 3d modeling tool. It is a great way for us to get clients to take the next step if they are struggling with just a mood board.

Cons

The 3d modeling tool. As a company that deals with high end furniture, it is difficult to find the correct skus to use. It would be helpful if brands like Lexington Furniture, Hooker Furniture, Bernhardt and more were available.

Really liked it starting in the first year, but felt like bait-and-switch tactic at annual renewal time. When first year was up, I was told by email that I was being moved to a plan that was 3x more expensive. Had to talk to customer service for an hour to figure out how to keep my cheaper plan, only to find out that many features have been removed from that Tier. They are intentionally pushing everyone into higher payment tiers. May have to switch to something else if they reduce functionality of my tier again next year.

Pros

Estimating templates, invoicing, project tracking

Cons

Taking away features from the lower end plans

Price, built in features, able to sync with Quickbooks

Hot out the gate, quiet around the first 2 turns, some gas on the third turn, waiting for the forth turn attitude for assessment.

Pros

Glad to now be having new customers calling us through houzz. Slow getting here and still low frequency but increasing. Happy with invoicing, estimates, client management

Cons

I do not have negative views at this time.

Every time I have a question customer service chat has always had an answer and has been exemplary.

I wish the estimates were a little more customizable, and you could add pages such as images to a page

I think the software/HouzzPro is an adequate product. My disillusionment relates to the fact I had poor response from leads generated by HouzzPro. Over a two year period, two leads responded to my initial contact in regard to their requests. Of those two, one became a client.

Pros

Easy to find products and ideas. Budgeting.

Cons

Lead generation was difficult to understand initially.

Pros

Convenience, presentation, and of course, personal involvement by Houzz Representative.Easy to place updates, but I really don't have the time to update it on a regular basis.

Cons

The software sometimes gets very sluggish when doing a large floor plan rendering no matter which browser I use and takes longer than it should to design a floor plan.
