### "A very nice sales pipeline with nice editing and filtering features"

Pros

Nice user interface. Nice ability to edit data on custom lists without needing to open a form. Pretty easy to create and filter lists, then store the configuration for later. Email integration is nice for storing all your conversations. Base handled the import well and was good at working with our sales people.

Cons

Support is only by email and often takes a day to answer your question. Although you can customize by adding fields and manipulating views, there are aspects of the pipeline you can't change. The help system and documentation leaves a good deal to be desired when digging into the system.

Pros

Base is really simple to use and has invested a lot in continuously making the user interface clean and intuitive. We really like the visualness of watching deals move through the pipeline.

Cons

At the time of our use, it lacked some of the more sophisticated reporting you would find in some of the major CRM providers. We found it difficult for each functional area (Sales, Account Relations, Support) to use – it served better as a deal tracking tool.

Pros

Easy to use, quickly implemented, reasonably priced

Cons

Google apps sync is really bad, users all over the world complain about the very poor solution already since 2013 but base doesn't do anything about it. This and some other major issues led us to change to another solution. Support and online tutorials is also not satisfactory. Base tries to sell you something really hard and they don't care about their customer base.

Pros

Base was intuitive to use and offered a great service with solid user experience. Rather than throwing a lot of features and functionality on a platform, Base created a sound workflow.

Cons

Base still has some catching up to do to compete with the giants like Salesforce in terms of offerings and apps. However, if the target market continues to be small to mid size companies rather than corporate giants, that may not be necessary.

Pros

The dashboard is good and the ease of 'deal' creation and updating is excellent. The ability to modify various records, deals, etc. from just about any screen is very useful and a time saver.

Cons

Most of the useful features do not come with the 'baseline' product. They require upgrades to various levels. Among these features are the ability to generate customized extracts and reporting.

Pros

Really helped us save time and put all of our client communication in one easy to use place. The support (Chat services) makes this so worthwhile. It really helped streamline my client communication.

Cons

The only thing that really gets in the way is the pricing. We are a small organization so it is a bit pricey for us.

Complete customization for your needs pertaining to your industry & customers and allows you to input as much information as you would like.

Cons

Actually, I can't say that I don't like the platform. it was a very useful tool when I was an independent rep. I was not a huge fan of the way you could link your phone to a number provided by BASE but that is just a personal preference. I like people seeing my number on their phone when I call instead of a "dummy" number.

It's a great tool to keep track of customers and move them through the pipeline. You can track progress, upload files, and keep records on all things done on your customer profiles.

Pros

I like that you can also make calls through Base.

Cons

Sometimes it can be easy to confuse personal profiles with business profiles. A hierarchy needs to be displayed easier.

There are many CRM options out there. I should have read more online reviews before proceeding. Caution.

Pros

The sales process is great - you'll feel very welcomed. Their follow-up is consistent and they do a great job showcasing the full-featured product.

Cons

Bait and Switch - the demo vs. the paid product is VERY different. You will learn that (all) reporting is extra , all goal setting is extra , and most CRM functions are extra . However, all of those functions are shown in the demo!

The simplicity of Base help us move from clunky Excel/Word tracking systems into a straightforward CRM system with ease and at a relatively low expense. This was the first CRM we used when we were just ramping up our sales efforts for our start-up company.

At the time, Base served our needs very well, so I don't have a "like least" comment.

While it is a great product for conventional use, it seems to be more for a traditional product versus a continual subscription-esque service. It wasn't able to categorize the inputted data like we would have wanted.

This is a very smart piece of engineering with an understanding of the sales process. API is incredibly good in case you want to add customised features

Cons

The biggest turn off is the price. Quite expensive for an online based software. Some features like permissions should be improved

This is the best out of the box tool I've used. The reporting capabilities are endless and incredibly strong but I think we like it best because the reps actually use it.

Pros

Strong mobile app... you can geolocate/get directions right from your phone. The reps like being able to "talk" their notes into the phone right after meetings rather than type.

Cons

May have been a learning gap... companies vs people in the contact section.

Would have liked a little more transparency on specific features we were looking for during the sales process. Didn't feel like they were completely honest with us.

Pros

Basic features are easy to learn and understand. Great tool for organizing customer information and tracking sales pipeline.

Cons

limited storage means picture storage isn't realistic like we were told when we were getting a demo. This was a huge deal to us.

The "underdog" of the modern CRM marketplace offers a beautiful user interface with an exceptional mobile platform and some smart features, such as the process-driven conversion of contacts to leads or the sales funnel analysis. What makes this system very intuitive is the integration of many familiar elements, such as tags, drag and drop functionality, and smart filters.

Cons

I would consider the dashboard base's "achilles' heel". While it was not a major problem during my evaluation, it already became cluttered with updates. Unlike most of the other areas, the dashboard does not offer many visual cues that would help in getting a quick(er) overview. Qualifying my statement, the mobile applications appear to be better designed in that regard.

Pros

I had the opportunity to utilize base CRM while working with a project partner for about 6 months. In my time, I found that the solution was very intuitive, user-friendly, easy to navigate, and provided a wealth of integrations for touch points to make your way down the sales pipeline.

Cons

The cost of the product can be somewhat burdensome at the higher levels and the lower levels provide quite a few options. I think a middle ground for small to medium sized organizations would be great!
