Pros

  • Technician time budget on the TVP makes scheduling and expectations with customers easy to manage. The digital inspection platform creates the transparency we strive to achieve with our customers.

  • This software is hands down the best decision we've ever made for our business. You cannot put a price on visual representation of required vehicle maintenance items and repairs.

Cons

  • Any company needing a contract to keep cashflow is a poor company to do business with.

  • I hate how it has trouble with our point of sale acts up atleast 2 to 3 times a wekk.

"I was mislead."

Overall: Any company needing a contract to keep cashflow is a poor company to do business with!

Pros: Neat features, may have lots of tech behind system but found it clunky, not intuitive and basically slowed us down.

Cons: When the system actually goes live with you they want you to use it for about 30 days to get used to the inspection process. We wanted to convert the text phone number over from our old systems, so our customers didn’t have to be bothered to see yet another new number, this took longer than the trial period also! This is where they get you, see you have 30 days from live to cancel and back out well, when 30 days passes you are now locked into your contract for a year or whatever you agreed to and if it's not working for your store that's too bad. They have you financially now. Autovitals didn’t solve my biggest pet peeve from our old system! If you add a new custom, build an estimate and want to text it to a customer, you can’t because Autovitals doesn’t recognize the customer right away??? Slows production, estimating and waists time!!!

Reasons for Switching to AutoVitals: The presentation looked good, software (web based), supposed to work with Mitchell. Sounded good, now I know, too good to be true!

Vendor Response

Nick, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. At AutoVitals, our primary goal is to help auto repair shops achieve greater efficiency and customer satisfaction, and we are sorry to hear that our program has not yet fulfilled your expectations. Mitchell1 is one of our most popular integrations, and hundreds of shops use it to increase the speed of customer communication. Regarding your specific concerns about the integration, in order for the integration to function quickly and effectively, canned jobs must be mapped, and all best practices must be followed. In regards to your comments on AutoVitals’ contracts, our agreements are designed to ensure mutual commitment, provide best-in-class support, and protect shops from price increases during their agreement period. Additionally, we do not offer trial periods.
