### "Clean, simple websites for churches large and small"

February 11, 2021

5.0

When it came time to redesign our website, I did a lot of research. I had heard of Nucleus, so I looked into what it offered. I decided to give it a try and have not regretted that decision. I had a lot of pages to rebuild when switching over, and it was done in way less time that it would have been done on other editors. The pages that Nucleus creates are clean, modern, and feature only what you need. And the fact that it is designed mobile-first means that it is future-proof in this digital age!

Pros

Nucleus is incredibly easy to use. The interface is clean and straightforward, and putting pages together is quick and painless!

Cons

There are features that more full-fledged website management software offers, but Nucleus is always iterating, and they have many more features planned that have been requested by users!

### "Amazing church software created by church people for church people"

July 13, 2023

5.0

I have loved Nucleus from the very start and my love for it continues to grow as well. The Nucleus team offers very quick support and is always very helpful. They also make products that are very easy for volunteers to use and do not require a steep learning curve.

Pros

I personally value the theology and philosophy that Nucleus incorporates into their products. They have concrete reasons why they develop certain features and give church leaders the ability the tools to do carry out their responsibilities simply and effectively.

Cons

Since Nucleus is so simple and effective for church purposes, it would be amazing if they were able to incorporate other aspects of Church Management Software.

Wix requires a steep learning curve for volunteers, the prices kept increasing over time, and they recently decreased the amount of media storage on the website builder.

### "Nucleus is a no-brainer for small to mid sized churches."

July 11, 2023

5.0

Phenomenal. Top notch customer service. Incredible team. \[sensitive content hidden\] is a visionary and we leave a long lasting mark on the Kingdom.

Pros

The ease of use. I can train several volunteers to run Nucleus because they have simplified it for the church. Their platform is driven by the mission to be invitational instead of just inspirational.

Cons

I wish I didn't have to use other platforms to manage my people or schedule services (planning center) but it makes sense because I've been able to condense my web platform to stay with Nucleus. I used to use squarespace so that at least helped me consolidate that aspect of our platforms.

### "You owe yourself the administrative relief that Nucleus provides."

July 11, 2023

5.0

Fantastic.

Pros

Cutting edge, user-first experience (for both church members and staff/volunteers). Saves time. Saves money. It just works.

Cons

Would love to see Nucleus play better with other ChMS providers (two-way sync is a big need).

Reason for choosing Nucleus

We new Nucleus was the one. We did not consider other options.

### "THE BEST all-in-one suite of website, social media, donation management products (+ beyond) around!"

July 11, 2023

5.0

Again, clean, sleek, easy to use. And the team is top notch — helping my church any and every way they possibly could. I am very grateful for products and companies like Nucleus. You cannot go wrong with using Nucleus.

Pros

Nucleus is hands down the best all-in-one suite of website, social media, donation management (+ beyond) around! I personally didn’t utilize the donation management side of things in my last church, but if we hadn’t already been so deeply rooted in utilizing Planning Center products, I would’ve had us make that switch in a flash. Clean, sleek, incredibly easy to use.

Cons

I honestly cannot say I disliked anything during my period of use within my last ministry. My only “regret” is having to stop using it.

### "Nucleus has changed our church."

July 10, 2023

5.0

Was the best thing we've done for our church.

Pros

I could rant and rave about every feature that has enabled significant growth in the last two years, but I'll say this instead: Nucleus saved us so much money, we hired another full time pastor. A 110-person church has two full-time pastors, all because Nucleus enabled our church and community to take more next steps and save on giving fees.

Cons

Nucleus is meant for the small church to thrive- if you manage the website and communication for a large church ministry, you may be disappointed in the lack of customization across Nucleus products. But that's because Nucleus puts wise guardrails up for users who are running small ministries and need time saved or to make it easy for volunteers to manage the website and management stuff.

### "A no-brainer for churches with limited resources"

February 4, 2020

5.0

We had multiple problems we were trying to solve when looking for a website. We needed an easy to use yet robust site builder. We needed something that integrated with Planning Center. We needed something that looks beautiful, is easy to use, is easy to keep updated, and is priced well. Nucleus met and exceeded all of these needs. In addition their incredibly friendly customer support, regular updates, and extensive library of helpful videos and articles help us to feel like we're not doing this alone. They care about our church website as much as (maybe more than!) we do. We are raving fans of Nucleus and it's family of products. They consistently make moves that prove they are not just a company with a bottom line. They are people who care, really care, about the church staff and attendees they serve and they will even sacrifice profit if they can provide a better product or better support to their customers. Everyone on our church staff knows \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] by first name only as we're constantly discussing and implementing his advice and actually seeing results. Nucleus is the best, and we hope to be with them for a long, long time.

Pros

Easy to use yet robust site builder. Integrates with Planning Center. Looks beautiful with design that's hard to mess up. Easy to browse, easy to keep updated, and priced extremely well. Incredibly friendly customer support, regular updates, and extensive library of helpful videos and articles.

Cons

There's honestly not much not to like about Nucleus. The framework allows for tons of flexibility. Whenever there is a problem customer support is quick to help. Feedback and suggestions get worked into updates.

Reason for choosing Nucleus

Nucleus far and above exceeded every requirement for what we needed with a very reasonable price. Some of the other companies and a very "salesey" approach that was a huge turnoff. The team and Nucleus treated every custom like a friend. It doesn't come across as cheesy, but sincere.

### "Best All-In-One Church Software"

April 30, 2024

5.0

We have loved nucleus from the very beginning. Installing the launcher on our website as a central hub allows people to sign up, give, and stay up to date with all with one login for church admins, and attendees as well!

Pros

I love the low rate on donation fees. It's the lowest you'll find anywhere. When you consider everything it includes, Nucleus offers CHMS, email, stock footage, social posts, giving, event registration, website builder and a sermon engine all for $199 month.

Cons

They lack third party integration with a lot of major church softwares. You have to manually export CSV files in order to migrate people or update information. They also deposit online giving once or twice a day, which makes reconciliation a bit tedious.

### "Great Church Website Choice"

February 7, 2020

4.0

Our website is better. The value for the money is incredible. The customer service is unmatchable.

Pros

I love how easy it is. I can hand it off to someone with a minimal knowledge and they can build out a web page. Just this week a new team member built a landing page for her new ministry.

Cons

The customization can be limited in service of functionality when compared to something like Divi

Reason for choosing Nucleus

Nucleus won on ease of use and accessibility of customer service.

Getting nucleus was the best decision we ever made. Your church will only benefit in the investment!!

Pros

Cons

### " Nucleus is great for churches and easy for small churches "

Customer service has been 100%!

Pros

I like the ease of use that has always been a part of Nucleus. Transitioning to 2.0, I decided to take advantage of the Nucleus Universe. After answering some basic questions and uploading some images from our church, the Nucleus team is setting up all the rest. I think it’s a great value for a small/medium church.

### "Nucleus is a Game Changer"

July 11, 2023

5.0

Nucleus has improved the look and feel of our site, and has drastically improved the ease of use for the end user..which has translated to more people interacting with the site and engaging in meaningful ways.

Pros

Nucleus has been phenomenal. Our site functions incredibly and looks fantastic. It has improved our user experience and increased our engagement tremendously. Also, the team behind Nucleus has been wonderful to work with, and is super responsive when I have questions or encounter challenges. Game changer! Do it!

Cons

I wish there was more to do with the people management side of the product, however, it seems Nucleus is constantly innovating, so...not sure if this will always be the case.

### "Fantastic Website Builder for Churches"

July 10, 2023

Their team is fantastic, and they know what makes a church tick. The website builder allows you to craft a website that looks great and serves both members and newcomers well.

Pros

Easy to learn and train new volunteers on.

Cons

Nucleus 2 Web is still under development, so there are a lot of features missing still - but it's certainly at a place where you could run a production live site successfully.

### "Simple is best!"

February 7, 2020

5.0

Fantastic! Excellent customer support with great response times!

Pros

This platform has reduced all the technical and complications that you can come across on other web platforms like this. It is easy to create a website that everyone will love! And you don't need previous web design experience!

Cons

If there were anything that I could change it would be the following: 1) multiple logins and different permission levels available for different members of the team, 2) schedule event cards to be archived so that I wouldn't have to go and manually do so every time an event is over, 3) An easy way for event organizers to track signups at a glance without having to login. These things are minor and if I know the Nucleus team, they are already working on improving their platform in many different ways!

### "Nucleus"

February 4, 2020

5.0

Pros

Nucleus is so easy to use. We’re a medium sized UK church with a small staff team - most of our staff work for our furniture project, and are not directly involved in working for the church - so all things communications and website is down to me (along with a host of other things unrelated to this!). I found Wordpress a fairly steep learning curve, not having been involved in the creation of our site. Migrating to Nucleus has been so simple and easy. Best communications decision we’ve made yet.

Cons

Limitations on design and customisation - it’s not bad, it’s just very simple and quite static. I know they argue that ‘originality’ is overrated, and they certainly know what they’re talking about, but I never get that moment of opening our site and thinking ‘wow. I love how this looks’. Functionality is great, ease of use is great, but the thing I like least is the limitations on customisation.

### "Definitely the best online church central hub on the market right now."

February 7, 2020

5.0

Pros

I like how frequently the team Nucleus releases updates. They really listen to their customers and give us the functions that we really need. I like being able to do church 24/7 everyday. Everyday, we'll receive notifications of our congregation taking different kinds of next steps online such as signing up for a small group, giving offering, registering for an event, or even simply contacting us for all kinds of requests. It's also very user-friendly from both admin perspective and end-user perspectives. We find it very easy to set up and running; our church members also find it very easy to navigate around too.

Cons

I wish they could offer 24 hour support or at least support on Sundays.

I needed to get a webpage up and running quickly and don't know much about designing webpages. Nucleus was intuitive. I created pages and subpages and was up and running in no time. Now, over 15 months later, I have a lot of pages designed--some active, some not. I just wish I could create folders for them and organize them as I want them.

Pros

Ease of use--you don't have to know a lot about designing a webpage.

The customer support is second to none! \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and his team are always helping people through issues that may arise!

Pros

The ease of use! \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and his team have created a product that helps take all of the guess work out of building a church website that is functional but also visually appealing.

Cons

Compared to other options, the price is a little higher. Also, because they do take a lot of the guess work out of the design process, your hands are tied on some customizations unless you are familiar with a little bit of coding.

February 6, 2020

Nucleus has been a great product for us thus far, however we are going to be adding a traditional website as our front-facing page and switching Nuclues to our “insider” portal.

Pros

It literally took me 14hrs to implement. Start to finish. We made the switch from a bulky Wordpress site last year and the process was nearly painless. Planning Center integration is amazing as well.

Cons

As a feature of the simplicity, it is difficult to fully customize each aspect of your site. Not super friendly for those unfamiliar with CSS coding.
