Great collaboration with the onboarding team and tons of great information on the website that helps use the system.
Once we were fully onboarded, our experience has been fantastic. The Finix team is great to work with.
The people that work at Finix are fantastic -- always super friendly and helpful, knowledgable and quick to respond, and inclusive when having an event in San Francisco. We love working with Finix.
Since then, the Finix product and customer success team have been stellar. My favorite thing about Finix is the fact it feels like Finix is a true partner that is invested in our success.

Without their support it would be challenging to navigate the proper steps.
Because we offer our services through Finix, sometimes our product roadmap is limited by what Finix can offer, and we can sometimes have different priorities.
Had the enablement process been difficult in the slightest, CharityStack wouldn’t be here today.
When we onboarded two years ago, some of their documentation wasn't as thorough as we would have hoped, but I know that is no longer the case.

"Finix helped us build the foundations of our product"
Overall: I reached out to Finix when CharityStack was just an idea. I didn’t have developers yet and I didn’t have a team. The technical documentation was on point and the implementation process seemed very easy to understand. This enabled me to hire a development team to move fast and get our company up and running. Had the enablement process been difficult in the slightest, CharityStack wouldn’t be here today.
Pros: The fact that I can connect with the Finix support side and get a solution to a question within a day is tangibly helpful. Especially when it comes to building relationships with our customers. Because with Stripe or another payment platform, I’m positive we wouldn’t get that same level of assistance.
Cons: The API docs could be more streamlined and use the formatting/platforms that other API-first companies use. Nothing super critical, but I'm on the Finix documentation pretty frequently and when compared to other companies, I think there's room for improvement.

Pros: Finix made it easy to switch payment processors from one of the largest bank processors in just one day. Their UX is great and all the headaches of dealing with bank processors was gone in 24hrs. Also, everything easily integrated into our existing e-commerce tech stack. Their team is awesome to work with! Everyone at Finix is young and hungry and excited to be building something better. All of this, and they also offer maybe the best prices out there! Implementing Finix has allowed us to focus on growth and not view payment processing as a liability.
Cons: There was nothing bad but I have to write something here.

Pros: Finix allowed us to integrate and take control of payments within our product and swap out our current solution in weeks, not months. This boosted our revenue and controlled our customers' payment experience.

Overall: Excellent. They were able to answer all our questions and get us onboarded very quickly.
Pros: Onboarding and the team they have to help you get to a fully working integration was a delightful experience compared to other solutions we have tried.
Cons: Documentation is great but could be fleshed out more in some details. And whatever javascript is on the documentation page occasionally locks up.

Pros: They were very flexible about accommodating our marketplace account structure, provided us a competitive/transparent pricing, support our diverse product offerings, worked closely with us to ensure proper regulatory compliance, and have modern tech that improved our end customer experience.
Cons: Due to our marketplace account structure, we had to work with the Finix team on an extensive underwriting process but in the end this put us in a solid place for our compliance compared to other large legacy processors that don't really care so long-term a plus.

Overall: Overall, we are happy we chose Finix. The onboarding process was smooth, we were able to quickly setup payouts using the API documentation provided and the support team has been phenomenal, especially [sensitive content hidden]. We had some hiccups along the way, but [sensitive content hidden] was very transparent, attentive and responsive. We will definitely recommend Finix and refer other business partners.
Pros: The support team is absolutely amazing! They are professional, responsive and made sure our onboarding process went smoothly.
Cons: We had a few obstacles that could have been prevented with better communication upfront, but even in this case, the support team was there to help us overcome those challenges, every step of the way.

Overall: We started using Finix after having difficulties with a very large payment processor. We were able to get started relatively quickly and migrate our integration over to Finix. Working with Finix has been night-and-day better than the prior company. I wish we'd found Finix sooner!
Pros: Finix has a great solution and vastly better customer service than the big competitor we dealt with previously. Basically everything we wanted to do with the "other guys" works with Finix.
Cons: Finix documentation is slightly lacking at times. It remains good enough, but there's room to improve.

Pros: Over two years ago we decided to move forward with Finix as a partner. With one engineer at the time, we used the Finix Flex APIs in short order to start processing our own payments, replacing a traditional provider we used. Since then, the Finix product and customer success team have been stellar. My favorite thing about Finix is the fact it feels like Finix is a true partner that is invested in our success. They are available via Slack for the hundreds of questions our team has, they consistently release product updates with requests we specifically provide and help us strategize our long-term processing strategy.
Cons: This is less a con about Finix and more the greater payments ecosystem, but we've learned that often getting to the bottom of a specific transaction with traditional payfac can be difficult and time-consuming. When we onboarded two years ago, some of their documentation wasn't as thorough as we would have hoped, but I know that is no longer the case.

Pros: Nice looking dashboard that is for the most part easy to navigate and understand. Card failure codes are more helpful than I have seen on other platforms. Helpful tools for onboarding merchants.
Cons: Setup and configuration could be easier and less dev specific. Searching for individual merchants can be cumbersome since search only works with their numerical IDs. How to resolve failed merchant applications could be made clearer. Finix customer support can also be very hit or miss. Some support agents seem to have very little experience while communication with more knowledgeable reps will often drop off completely with no explanation.
