I will not advise anyone to purchase this program unless they webmaster background. Cons They can only operate through email know phone assisting. If you not technical handy don't try this company or recommend this company. They will lie to you about technical support. But, Ideal Directories is the best - EVER - in my opinion. I was struggling to create my own Restaurant & Local Business Directory through WP. It took up so much of my day that I couldn't make time to market it. Then I found Ideal Directories and it took all the creation issues away. I seldom write reviews but it's my pleasure to write this one. If you want to build a Directory website this is the software for you! Pros The clear and concise training modules, the way the training modules take you step by step - no guessing "how to". Cons Setting up the DNS thru GoDaddy - a little difficult. Had to call GoDaddy because I couldn't set up a second "A" Record. After nearly six weeks of headaches, frustration, and honestly, giving up, I came across Ideal Directories. Ideal Directories has created a SaaS system that helped me to do in four or five DAYS, what I struggled to and ultimately failed to do in six WEEKS. I can't thank Ideal Directories enough for what you've built. Pros What I like most, is the prospecting tool! Before finding Ideal Directories, I was using a WordPress theme. I found myself spending literal weeks with Google Maps open on my computer screen, scrolling inch by inch as I searched for restaurants in the service area I'm working with. I'd find them, then type out their name/address. After completing that section of road/street, I'd have to go back and find all the pertinent for the listing. The time and frustration of doing it this way, honestly, made me sick. When I found Ideal Directories, I found their "Prospecting Tool." THIS is what makes Ideal Directories worth so much more than what they charge for it! This tool was able to search the areas I am serving, collate all the necessary information. Then actually build out 85-90% of the listing with a simple click of a button!!! Cons If I had to pick one thing, it would be the fact that I cannot insert UberEats or DoorDash logo "buttons" into my listings. That said, I did reach out to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and asked him about this. He immediately said "I can see where that would be useful. Unfortunately, that's not yet an option." However, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] didn't leave me hanging there. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] showed me how I could type in "Order from DoorDash" then create a hotlink in the word DoorDash so that if someone clicked on that, it would take them to the order page. Not "perfect," but a great workaround. Hopefully, the Ideal Directories team can put something together for future rollouts.
