Pros It's rich in features, and the support is really great. It helped my client a lot, increased its sales in about 10x. The option for "Any Employee" is crucial. Its design is really good too. Cons Its design is good, but could use some improvement in the booking form for package option. Selecting multiple employees in package form would be great! Also, in the general booking form, when you enable the package option, it comes in a way that confuses the users. The package coming before the single booking led customers to ask wheter or not is possible to book a single appointment (which could cause some abandonment, i think?). Review Source Paka M. Lead Designer Consumer Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Very Robust App, Awesome Price and Outstanding Customer Service" April 13, 2021 5.0 I've used this on a couple of projects now and its provided exactly what I need and when I've run into some issues their customer support has been responsive and helpful. Pros The Amelia app was created with a ton of features to fit almost every situation for its users. It integrates with my Wordpress theme via simple shortcode and is very light weight and doesn't effect page loading in any noticeable way. Cons Because there are so many options and features it takes some time to figure out where everything is, especially if it is required in order for a separate feature to work. e.g. you have to configure your staff before you can configure a service because you need to assign a staff member to that service. With that being said, it was a little rigid in this requirement because some of my services are assigned to the business and not a particular staff member, however, I reached out to them and they helped me to resolve this. Even though I've listed these as "cons" they are nothing to take away from a great app! Pros The most useful thing about amelia is the "employees" section. You can use it to make an online platform with business partners and so on.... Cons There are features that still needs work. Like the locations and employees to have archives and assign a service to multiple categories. Not only one. Cons There is a small learning curve to learn the intricacies of the backend panel but compared to some of the other plugins available that I tried, Amelia is the easiest to learn. Cons Time-triggered notifications are finicky, and it's a bit slow to respond on the front end when pulling in a lot of appointments. Both minor things. Also, the Amelia support guys are always very helpful and super friendly. I highly recommend Amelia. Pros It's so flexible that you can build an online booking system for practically any business that requires one. Cons Truly can't think of anything that I would like least. Pros Implementing amelia booking plugin into our website as made bookings and appointment automation easy, the application as a user friendly interface compare to other plugin in the market we tested. And the integration to activation was super easy. Cons The aspect of integration that as to do with third party connection like google cloud is a little tricky if one is a novice but if you are patient enough you will get it connected easily but the booking interface is super easy and customization is fun. Theme styling = you simply need to create styling that mirrors the WordPress theme, instead of forcing uncomfortable and mismatched styling on your users that is not white-label, or "on brand". 2. Employees need to be able to simply and effectively choose their hours from the front end using a simple timeslot/clicking functionality. They need to be able to "open/close" blocks or slots, simply by clicking. This is how you keep your service providers/employees happy. They should not have to enter these manually, with complicated systems for choosing the available time. It does not work for tutors or freelancers. These people need to manually open and close their availability as and when the time arises, and as they're needs change. 3.
