## What is ShareAspace D2M?

ShareAspace Server is a secure, vendor-neutral platform for multi-enterprise collaboration. It acts as a neutral integration layer that consolidates data from internal systems into a single hub, extends the digital thread across organisations, and enforces access rights, validation, versioning and full traceability. Built on ISO standards including STEP and PLCS, it breaks down silos while preserving governance with auditability. Use it to share engineering and support data with partners, run controlled change processes, and deliver consistent handovers. Available on premises and in the cloud, ShareAspace scales from project to programme, supports master data, change, document and part management, and provides a through-life repository. Its REST APIs make it easy to integrate or build apps without custom coding. For data sharing, configurable import/export and mappers support standards and formats so you can move data to and from other systems without vendor lock-in.

Easy to use, very hard to customize or extend.

Easy to use. Intuitive GUI for common users

Cons

Horrible data model. Too many features, too many options, too complicated setup for our current need.
