Admin Sports Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Easy and cost effective plug & play translations tool" February 5, 2026 4.0 I use Weglot for a start-up bike-sharing platform, as part of a circular economy project. At the moment, it's the ideal solution for my goals. Pros The ease of use and setup are unmatched in my opinion, compared to other offerings on the market. Real-time multilingual translations make it easy to use and worry-free. I also appreciate the efficiency of the AI that reflects on the SEO performances and the availability and speed of support. Cons Scalability is definitely a very advantageous feature of Weglot, but it does make cost control difficult. At the moment, the cost/benefit ratio is very favourable, but I will have to reassess it as the project develops. Weglot have been with us the whole time providing timely responses and helpful and specific answers to our questions. Pros Weglot has been super easy for us to implement within our BigCommerce store. The functionality is excellent with the ability to have it running within minutes or customise as needed. We've customised it to fit within our store theme and have multiple subdomains setup. Within 24 hours of adding the subdomains to Google we were receiving new traffic and orders so it's already delivering a return on investment. Cons Every feature which we need we have found within Weglot, I'm yet to think of anything which is missing. Switched from [Localizer](https://www.capterra.com/p/151883/Localizer/) The product wasn't working for us, the traffic we were hoping for never came meaning we never saw a return on the investment of paying for the service, nor the professional translation costs. Cons Subdirectories set up did not work for us and caused us trouble, even after the assurance from the support. Also, I would like to use a chat function instead of only email. Pros I really like the flexibility of the translations and how easy it is to modify them, track subscription usage and optimize translations. Cons I don't know if it comes directly from WeGlot, but words that aren't displayed on the pages are continually being translated, taking up part of the consumption (number of words), and I have to delete them all the time. I wish all my partners would be as dedicated. Pros Of course, the product itself is great and does what needs to be done. I installed it without any IT background. It is really easy to use. It could probably be improved on some points although nothing comes immediately to my mind. What I want to emphasize here is the customer service quality. Rapidity, efficiency, kindness,... but also what lacks the most in such "IT" service, a real customer-oriented support. Actually, I think the product works already so well and has so few flows that the people behind it are bored and therefore so happy to help when finally someone gets a question :-). Cons The invoicing system. I do not yet totally understand how consumption is calculated. Once the translation is done, that you have 1 or 1.000.000 views, it should not differ in rate so much. We just reach a limit of views and the service stopped. I needed to switch to another category which makes it much more expensive. (Although the translation job has already been done). Founder Biotechnology Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Translation in a day" December 13, 2021 5.0 Service has been quick to respond when I had issues with the DNS settings, probably the most difficult part. Pros Translation is and has been always a major issue on all websites, it basically means you have to produce the same content twice. Weglot makes it very easy, just add an entry to your DNS file and add a snippet to your header and boom your website is translated in basically any language you want. The user won't even notice it, since you can enable to automatically select the right language based on browser settings. Automatic translation is good but not perfect, but therefore weglot offers a visual editor where you can refine your translation manually, which is a key feature. If you are to busy for that they offer professional translations, I haven't tried them though. Also they don't try to translate fixed expressions that you want to keep in English. All in all it is the perfect package. Cons It is probably pricing, it offers good value for money but if your cannot capitalize your business with translated content thant it might be not with it to you. Review Source Risto V. I've been expecting a lot more from WeGlot but every time I need to make a change, it has given me some sort of issues. Pros I like how WeGlot allowed me to have a website that was translated in several languages, it allowed me to reach out to a stronger population and more organization. I feel like it is an added value for anyone's website. Cons It was really hard to get it going and I experienced a lot of issues with the English to French translation. I needed to make a lot of changes on my own instead of letting the platform do it automatically. Weglot support discovered that a previously installed translation app had not been uninstalled correctly and helped me with this. Pros The software is installed with just a few clicks and the machine translations are immediately visible. That means you have your translation of your page immediately. Weglot is very quick to learn because of the many videos. In my case, I would like to highlight the support. I had some problems because we had previously installed another translation APP and the code remnants hindered Weglot. Weglot support has always helped me very quickly and very effectively.
