As we didn't have any in-house knowledge about these (especially the tools), I've done some research. WebinarGeek came out as the tool with the most functionalities for the best price. This made me decide to start a demo, and eventually get the software. So far, it does exactly what I need and it doesn't cost me a lot of time to figure out how to use it. All the people involved are positive about the tool and it gets me the results I need, so I'm very happy with it. Pros This software is easy to use, as we've set up a complete webinar in a few days without experience in such a tool. All the features we need are available, there is an integration with our marketing automation tool, and our partners that work with us on webinars, as well as the viewers, are very positive about the technical aspects and the quality of our webinars. Cons There are very few cons I've encountered, but there's one thing I'm missing. As I'd like to keep my webinar as branded as possible, I use the embedded registration form. The only downside of doing this is I am unable to track the traffic sources of the people that register for the webinar. If there comes an integration to do this I can get a clearer view on where my viewers come from. We switched recently to this software and with exception of a few small things, everything is better than the other software we were using before. I have the feeling that WebinarGeek is constantly approving and I like that a lot. Pros Easy to set up to your own desires and change a lot your self Cons In the chat we sometimes miss the opportunity to tag a participant when answering. Especialy when there are more participants with the same first name. In another sofware we used in the past it was possible to writ @ and the first letters of the first name and they would show the participants with that name in a dropdown list. This way you could chose the person you're answering to and they would get notified. Pros I found the platform exceptionally intuitive to navigate—even as someone who doesn’t consider themselves particularly tech-savvy. What impressed me most was that, even after converting my webinar into an evergreen format, I was still able to log in and interact with participants in real time through the chat function. This interactive capability is a clear differentiator, as it is not commonly available on other platforms, and I consider it excellent value for money. While I did not need to share files and therefore cannot comment on that functionality, my overall experience was seamless. The connection remained stable at all times, with no interruptions or audio issues, and I never encountered any security concerns. Cons At the time when I was using it, they didn't have the integration of a countdown feature for my website. But I understand that they have now updated that. The platform itself has cool features - there’s live chat option. You can also add co-hosts to your webinars. It’s easy and hassle-free to reach more audiences and get them to sign up. People who couldn’t attend the live, or anyone really, could watch the webinars with the replay option, and a copy of the webinar can also be mailed to the attendees. Pretty inexpensive for such a good software. Cons The interface is a bit packed and there is no mobile version, which can be a turnoff for some. Attendees do not have the option to join multiple webinars either. There is no option for formatting the customised emails. The video quality was high (better than some other streaming platforms) and the video stream was solid and continuously. Settings are simple and good and sufficient / complete. Easy flow, well thought trough. No options-overkill, I really liked that. And the service is fast and you get motivated and skillful online helpdesk. They really know what they are doing en they are patient, friendly & quick, they make exceptions and they are honest & reliable. Big thanks. Cons We had a little error in the first video upload. Our video was formatted with a variable bitrate (première pro adobe). My video quality was really good, but the conversion was not good. WebinarGeek appears to be a clear and simple program to show myself and my service in a professional way. As a starting entrepreneur I notice how after 3 webinars WebinarGeek is already a wonderful addition to my marketing and I have good sales so far, so I will definitely keep using it! I love the professional appearance of the software. Pros I love how I can add speaker notes to the presentation so that I never have to look at my paper. I don't even have any separate notes next to the presentation! I am also enthusiastic about the statistics. How cool to get exact insight into the registrations, viewers and viewing behavior. Cons The integration with Active Campaign requires some extra attention from me. The first set-up went well. I find I can use some extra help with further fine-tuning.
