## What is WebLeads?

Fastbase is a web and database analytics company that offers a growing suite of tools to support B2B marketing and sales. In June 2016 Fastbase launched its WebLeads product - an add-on to Google Analytics - identifying companies that visit your website. Fastbase's software generates comprehensive lead reports containing company profiles, visitor interactions, key employee contact data, LinkedIn profile information, and email addresses. Fastbase software can integrate with CRM systems.

Overall experience is solid so far I’m excited for new features and integrations.

Pros

This is a great tool for b2b marketers allowing you to see what companies are visiting your site. Setup is easy and it was able to grab historical data.

Cons

Only works for b2b, can not identify website visitors at home.

Pros

So this is an IP correlation tool. We have one in HubSpot as well, but Fastbase pulls in a lot more visitors and can be used on your client accounts as well. It's good at finding organizations that have visited your site if they have a dedicated IP- so if you work in B2B with larger organizations you can improve account-based marketing

Cons

It's lost a lot of functionality over the last few months. It used to show you exactly what pages were viewed by the ip- so you could understand the context of the site visitor. I believe Google pulled that info, so it's a bit more toothless. Also it's powerless to see people working from IP that are delivered through a carrier like Time Warner, Comcast, ect- to the lead source, especially right now with the volume of work from home.

Use to use Fastbase all the time until the data started to become less beneficial with data only coming from outside the us

Pros

I've not noticed any difference from before and after. Have tried to reach out to customer support but it's nearly impossible to reach anyone.

Cons

As mentioned previously, we haven't seen a difference in the data from before and after using WebLeads and installing code

We took a serious look at our support capabilities and they were lacking. The CEO of Fastbase put into place some immediate changes to make the service desk process within Fastbase more responsive - this means a more timely response for customers. Some channels/tools were already available but were not communicated well, like our support email address: support@fastbase.com. It is something which we are adding to our web page. We have now also made FAQs available and we are working on help documentation and product tours. A couple of new features are due for release in the next 2 weeks which will show refresh times and total number of leads - these are being implemented as a direct result of user requests. We hope to continue and strengthen our partnership with the reviewer's company and be the trusted provider of leads for the future.

Overall a poor experience which is a shame. They have obviosly put some work in to obtaining leads but unfortunately this is back up by poor support and poor user interface, lacking much of the functionality of others and persistently buggy!

Pros

Has the best volume of leads in comparison to others.

Cons

Leads go missing for days, poor support, when they do fix goes wrong again.

We are cheered by the fact that the reviewer credits us with the best volume of leads! However, we have work to do on our support front. The good news is that it has been made a priority from the top of the company. Our endeavour now is to address: i) support interaction, not just via chat (we cannot cover all international timezones) but also importantly via support@fastbase.com ii) ensure a stable release and release schedule iii) more transparency on update times and make it easier to see the important leads that have interactions I encourage the reviewer to contact us via the support email as we value mentioning this review - we do value the suggestions and opinions of customers who have been with us as long as this one.

See above plus better interface but lacking in any user help, This would I believe make a big difference and of course Fastbase need resolve current issue and put in place better support pprocesses.

Pros

Can see the company that has visited your website potential to see what pages they have visited but see below.

Cons

Support is lacking still and we have had problems in seeing the pages visited which has not been resolved in new version. This maybe a minor issue but impacts us greatly really need resolving. Maybe linked to script user has to install to allows Google analytics access.

Reasons for choosing WebLeads

At moment we are comparing above product against Fastbase, so far looks like Fastbase has edge but key is to get Web pages visited data correct.

Our support capabilities needed addressing and the CEO of Fastbase put into place some immediate changes to make the service desk process within Fastbase more responsive - this means a more timely response for customers. Fastbase cares about customers who have been using our product for a number of years because their experience of the product and insight is invaluable. Some new features are being implemented in the next 2 weeks which are a direct result of suggestions the reviewer made to us. We will show data refresh times and total number of leads - which means that one can reconcile even the leads that come from unknown IPs. We will work to continue and strengthen our partnership with the reviewer's company and continually improve our product.
