I just hope I never need customer support for anything important. Pros What I like most about Uphold is that it's easy to use and a fast way to move money around from one account to another. Cons Uphold has a terrible customer support system. They only accept messages and it takes days to get a reply. I use it for transfers in different national currencies with low fees. I mostly use EUR, USD, and GBP. It's fast, there are a lot of different payment methods available and withdrawals are fast and easy as well. I also use Uphold for sending cryptocurrency payments. At the time of writing this review, there are 56 different cryptocurrencies available at Uphold. I've been a happy Uphold user for many years now and has seen this company grown from a start-up to a solid, innovative company. I love how this company makes it easy to send/receive payments in different ways and get into cryptocurrencies with a few clicks. Thanks to innovative solutions like this, we don't have to rely as much on traditional money transfer or payment solutions. Pros Uphold is an easy to use platform that I'm using for sending payments to other Uphold users in different parts of the world and for buying different cryptocurrencies. Member to member payments are free, which I like a lot. I also find it easy to fund my account and make withdrawals, with low to average fees. I've used this platform to pay people from all over the world with ease. The interface is modern and clean. I've used many similar tools, but Uphold is one that I use every day because it's easy and safe. Cons There are different ways to send money and I needed some time to learn everything Uphold offers. In the very beginning, I found the interface a little confusing to get started, but there have been a few updates (big improvements) to the entire user interface over the past year. There's also enough documentation though, so if need more information, there's a great knowledge base you can tap into. Once I played around with Uphold for a while, using it is a breeze. It's fast and safe. Former Circuit Judge Judiciary Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Former Circuit Judge Warns to Not Use Upload" January 22, 2025 1.0 They emailed me a notification on 1/21/25 falsely claiming my bank account was insufficient and that my bank (PNC) had declined the transaction. They also charged me fees for the alleged insufficiency. I called my bank and they said ALL my accounts were more than sufficient and nothing had ever been submitted. We tried getting Uphold on the line and no one answered. Their voicemail was very unprofessional as if it is for personal use. I left a message and never received a returned call. I then emailed them my complaint, #5304430 & #5304399. For some reason I received 2 emails so I responded to both. They responded back to #5304430 with the same lie despite my account never being insufficient and my willingness to submit proof or get my bank on the line. All my bank accounts have more than enough to cover the transaction and my bank said nothing was ever submitted. My bank also noted that I would have received something from them personally if such had occurred. They never responded as of the time of this review to Complaint #5304399. I responded back to their email reiterating my position, notifying them that they’d response was inaccurate and insufficient. I further requested a phone call from a person. I then immediately notified a friend I encouraged to try Upload with me at the same time. Now, they are having problems withdrawing their money!!! As a former Circuit Court Judge, I caution all to stay far away; and those affected like me to report this company and file a police report!!! Pros The easy of using the app and that’s all. The funding is also not as easy but again, this has changed over the last several years. So I'm going to say it's ok now. Pros This platform is one of the few that allows me to trade XRP and a few other coins that can't trade on other apps. Cons The onboarding process was brutal. I also had trouble funding my first trade. I felt like I jumped through hoops for weeks before I could buy my crypto. However that was years ago so I think they've changed since then. This wallet also has a lot of markets (cryptocurrencies, utility tokens, stablecoins, national currencies and metals) in which I can invest. Despite the charged fees, the transactions are very fast and secure. I must also mention the "integrations" section in which I can connect third-party apps to my Uphold account, which is very practical and handy. Pros I firstly started using Uphold when I downloaded the Brave Browser. To start earning BATs (Basic Attention Tokens) when surfing the web on this browser, I was asked to create a wallet on Uphold. Since then I earned a lot of BATs, which either I could hold on Uphold or withdraw them to my bank via wire transfer. What I like the most about Uphold is its ease of use and the modern User Interface (UI), which is also very intuitive. I also like the fast withdraw transfers and the security of this very platform. Cons What I like the least about Uphold is the fees charged per every operation. I would like to see lower fees on these transactions, but the speed they are processed of course comes with a price! Other than that I don't have any other negative characteristics to point out about Uphold. I also didn't face any issues or concerns while using this software.
