It was one of the first online software's I used when I joined XPS, it was very quick to understand which is good. Pros What I like most about Knowa is it's efficiency to create agendas and invite Trustees to view them. It's simple and time effective. Cons A couple things I like least are: -the fact that you have to give access within access to spaces. (although this is very secure!) -I don't think you should have the 'stay logged in for 2 weeks' function as this isn't very secure. -folders and documents have no order which is annoying as a couple Trustees have contacted me asking why something from from 2009 for example is above something from 2022. So to implement an order function, where we can number documents so they can go in date order, would be great. Pros Ease of use. Application to our business. Strong customer support. Cons We would like all of our data and processes on Knowa, so we have the transfer process. It will also be useful as a record of our scheme governance system (ESOG). Pros Ease of use, support from the Knowa team and the ability to add new features and develop easily. It is also helping with succession planning being able to store and develop report. Cons None that I can think of and would highly recommend it. The Trustee Board members are also delighted with it. Reason for choosing Knowa As for ease of switch and also cost much lower. March 28, 2023 5.0 We needed a premium platform for clients and Knowa provided that but also without significant expense. Pros Knowa makes rubbing meeting so easy compared to life before Knowa. Also the ability to discuss sensitive documents without passwords is fantastic. Cons It's really hard to tell if the additional add-ons are worth the money without paying for them. This creates a very positive experience of setting Knowa up and using it for the first time for both you as the administrator and any new users of the software. Pros The product is brilliant, simple and easy to use with lots of advanced features and additional modules to support effective board management. Best of all, the team at Knowa are genuinely interested to gather your feedback and want to develop the product even further. The new advanced search function being a great example of this. Within the first couple of times I used it I knew how to set up meetings and attach documents to the packs. It is very user friendly and most new joiners who use it for the first time get the hang of it almost straight away. I have had no issues from Trustees with Knowa and all has been positive. Cons When adding actions, for example, the latest action is at the top of the list and generally this would have been the last action in the meeting. Only a minor point but when comparing against the minutes it can be a little confusing. When adding a new member to the collaboration space, it is annoying that you add them and always have to add them to all groups on there as I sometimes forget to do this.
