We balanced cost vs. requirements and Easy Board won hands-down. It almost seemed too good to be true.

The inability of group admins to add/take off group members.
I think this might be operator error, but it is a problem that I've encountered.
There is an option to add the meeting invite to calendars, but it is one more step, and I worry our board members might skip that and miss meetings.
It took no more than a couple hours to have the site up and running, invites sent and board members using the new site.
"Putting the Easy in Easy Board"
Overall: Great customer service, easy to use, easy to afford!
Pros: Easy, affordable, aesthetic without being complicated, and no add-ons or "upgrade to unlock" features.
Cons: The only thing I wish it had was compatibility with Zoom and Google Calendar, but I believe one or both of those features are being added shortly!

"Easy Board Lives Up to Its Name"
Overall: It's hard to imagine a more aptly named product. If your primary goal is to make running Board Meetings and distributing Board documentation easier, this is the product for you. It does not include documentation authoring tools, but why would you need them to be included when Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and all the other such tools are readily available and excel at what they are there for? While Easy Board is clearly targeted at nonprofits (since we don't typically have the funds available to implement the larger, costlier Board products on the market), I would easily recommend this to for-profit organizations as well if the goal is to simply simplify your Board Meeting management without a lot of muss and fuss. The learning curve is unbelievably short, and this product is approachable to even the most technologically challenged individuals. Furthermore, the implementation and administration efforts are equally simple. Availability of staff for setup and issue resolution is top-notch. Easy Board is a full-featured product that does EXACTLY what it promises to do: make managing Board Meetings Easy.
Pros: It lives up to its name and doesn't promise anything it can't deliver. It truly is the easiest Board Meeting Management software I have worked with, and I have worked with many across the cost/feature spectrum. The company didn't promise anything it couldn't deliver.
Cons: I wouldn't call this a con per se, but if I had to identify one feature that would add the most value, it would be the availability of a mobile app for those Board Members accessing from a tablet. The website is full-featured, so we're not losing anything, but I think that would be the most value-added feature they could add right now.

"A smooth transition to a board management software"
Overall: It has been an overall positive experience.
Pros: Easy Board is user friendly and the single sign on capabilities has made the utilization stronger from our board members. It has been an accessible "hub" for board members to access board materials and announcements. The way admin can send announcements or messages directly from the platform and have notifications be sent to user emails is really helpful.
Cons: We have not utilized the library feature as much as we'd like to due to the format and organization of it. It would be a very useful area for Easy Board to improve.

"Great tool for small to mid size non profit"
Overall: Great! It make our Board meetings easier to manage. Thumbs up from BookSpring.
Pros: Our Board of Directors found it really easy to access and navigate. It's super simple so that even if you're not in there everyday, you can remember how to get around and find things. I like that it sets up roles by committees and groups. The even feeds down like a social media platform, most current at top. At first that was confusing but we got used to it fast. The sharing to calendars, Google Docs, and Zoom link integrations work well. Log in is intutive and forgiving.
Cons: Our only issue is that after a few years, our document library is getting a little cluttered. It would be helpful to have some kind of archiving or sub folder option, but basically, we put our archives in our official cloud accounts. This tool is best for managing muliple working groups in real time, not as a document repository.

Overall: 100% compliance/use by members. Because of the design, our Board adopted the platform without much trouble at all. I have recommended to other nonprofits seeking a simple, effective solution.
