Even for potential project work, less detailed drawings can be taken and formed as proof of concept with minimal dimensions which can be very handy for project feasability studies. Pros Layers feature - on complex site drawings, having the ability the add drawings onto seperate layers means you can individually edit/turn then off to shoe exactly what is needed at the time. For example you can show just the 'Drainage' layer of required. Cons There is a raft of line settings such as colour/weight which can be locked with global/local settings or imported from previous drawings which can easily get muddled and complicated - many times I have been trying to change a line weighting only to find it is locked via a layer setting. Non è fatto per vedere la casa in 3D in modo bello e veloce come Homestyler, quindi i risultati estetici sono un po' freddi e "tecnici". Encuentro que su interfaz y sus capacidades de customizacion son las mejores respecto de la competencia. Pros quizá lo mas importantes es la cantidad de opciones que este programa te permite desarrollar, es una hoja en blanco donde las posibilidades son infinitas y solo depende de tu habilidad de manejar las herramientas que este te entrega. El otro elemento es la facilidad con la que a un archivo se le puede dar formato y llevarlo a un modelo que se pueda imprimir tanto en papel como en una impresora 3D Cons el precio, encuentro que aun es muy elevado dado que las optimizaciones y mejoras durante los años no han sido muy sustanciales y se ha trabajado en base al mismo modelo. El programa a mi juicio necesita de un bot a tiempo real que ayude a facilitar las herramientas de dibujo para poder realizar el mismo trabajo en mucho menor tiempo. But its days are short lived, probably won't last much longer as any basic standard. AutoCad needs to completely reshape itself for the modern era and provide more intuitive controls and tools. Pros Standard across engineering, drafting, design, and many other technical and artistic digital studios. Minimalist approach at first take but the amount of options and versatility offered is quickly overwhelming/exciting. AutoCad LT offers a vast collection of tools for basic and advanced drawing. Our engineering firm has always used AutoCad and makes good with full 11x17 standard sized drawings for customers and internal designs. We like the relatively simple arrangement of seemingly endless tools, straight forward learning curve for starting out drafting basic stuff, and default options for professional presentations. Cons Extremely expensive for overly complicated software lacking any real updates - see changes from Photoshop CS2 - CS6 and any newer software. AutoCad feels awkward, stupid, and completely outdated. It seems to be falling behind because the majority of users are older and don't want changes. However AutoCad cannot last with this and becomes frustrating to use for more extensive drafting. There are no options for speeding up and simplifying multiple pages for one larger project. AutoCad makes everything difficult and puts extra steps into some tools. There are some tools that are way more complicated than they should be. I don't think we will use AutoCad long term. It's way too expensive, too complicated, isn't evolving into an easier to use and better setup engineering tool, and obviously isn't getting any better with age. It helps create accurate drawings for architectural purpose, interior design purpose and generally anything that needs measurements. It is easy to use, and the commands are accessed easily by just entering first few letters. EG line command, just type in L and you will see a little box pop up asking you if you are trying to make a line. Cons Finding that trying to change the work space to a custom work space causes the CAD to crash. Importing PDF images such as maps and blueprints into and being able to draw over them is all that most users will ever need - be warned price and ease come with limitations, this is not a 3D package but isometric build-drawings are generally what manufactures need to build that part or even machine you need.
