### "Quarter of the cost"

December 18, 2019

5.0

I am a dedicated Autodesk AutoCAD user. I started sing R-13 and I still use Autodesk CAD software to this day

Pros

What I like the most about AutoCAD Lt is its cost. A years subscription can be up to twenty five percent of the original program.

Cons

It has a lot of features and commands. However it does not have all of the commands that the full version has.

### "All the CAD needs "

October 3, 2020

5.0

We use it as a our second software along Revit. DWG is a popular format used for publishing technical drawing in many fields and sometimes it is required to edit such files. AutoCAD Lt offer less than regular AutoCAD but still enough to fit our needs.

Pros

Has all the features we require and we don't pay for unused ones. As an Autodesk product it is of highest quiality, as expected - interface, tools, compatibility, all work flawlessly.

Cons

Not out main tool because o it inherited problems - 2d drawings and little automation or bim capabilities.

### "Un primo approccio per imparare AutoCAD"

July 14, 2023

4.0

Pros

### "Autocad Review"

July 3, 2023

4.0

Pros

One of the best softwares for 2D technical drawing of building plans, it's our prefered software to keep in date with our company plan.

Cons

It's a bit difficult at the begging due to the fact there is a lot of comands to memorize, and the start could be a little to slow for someone in a hurry.

### "Fully functional, very expensive, resource pig"

September 23, 2021

5.0

Electrical and 2D layout drawings are being developed with this software. Overall it fills the need but we will be looking for alternatives to reduce cost if possible.

Pros

The software is incredibly powerful and does everything and more that we need it for. Once you get to know the keyboard commands you can develop schematics relatively quickly.

Cons

The program consumes an excessive amount of processor & memory resources to work and the subscription model is very expensive compared to other products on the market.

### "A very helpful software but sometimes hard to learn."

November 22, 2017

Easy to integrate in manufacturing applications. The printing options available are better than competition.

Cons

The software is difficult to learn and is not intuitive for some of the tools. The 3D features are limited and not very accessible.

### "We use Autocad to produce drawings for our customers."

March 1, 2018

5.0

By using Autocad, we have been able to land several high profile clients.

Pros

Being self-taught using Autocad, the LT version has been very easy to learn. The program gives you exactly what it says. The end results are clean, clear and concise.

Cons

This software is a utility hog. That is the only real problem with it. Even when it is not "running" it is using a large amount of the memory of your computer.

### "Affordable solution that will get the job done"

November 16, 2017

got the job done

Pros

Best bang for your money as long as you don't need the 3D and other features from the more expensive editions.

Cons

Somewhat limited functionality which can get frustrating at times. Make sure you go over the features to ensure that it will fit your needs.

### "AutoCad LT "

May 13, 2019

4.0

Pros

The installation is very easy and the migration of previous version information works very well.

Cons

The online portion of Autodesk is not easy to turn off and there are functions that I never use that I can not remove. The cloud function should be easier to turn off.

### "I use this software mostly for P&ID generation and site GAs."

January 11, 2018

5.0

I have been able to make clean and concise P&ID drawings and layout/utilize GA and elevation drawings of my sites.

Pros

Its very powerful. I am amazed how accurately the Snap functions predict the points I want to measure/draw to. Most things are pretty intuitive and the changes between versions haven't been difficult to figure out. The command bar at the bottom has remained so I have always been able to do what I want even if I can't find the icon. I really like the "area" function when working with GA drawings.

Cons

I think the "Help" portion could be better with links to tutorials. I've had to general "Google" some items to find answers. I wish mobile version was easier to use. I wish there was a large library of blocks available without having to download them. The software is expensive although probably worth it.

### "AutoCAD LT Review"

September 25, 2018

5.0

AutoCAD LT has transformed our drafting department. It provides for a nice transition for our clients to see exactly what they are purchasing to purchasing and manufacturing the product.

Pros

AutoCAD LT is a user friendly, all encompassing design software. The ease of use for our draftsmen is great. The design tools for this software are plentiful.

Cons

There is nothing that I like least about this software except that their customer service could be more helpful especially when it comes to billing.

Helps us do CAD and save money as it is cheaper than the full version.

Pros

Love AutoCAD LT. It’s a cheaper alternative to the full blown version, and works great.

Cons

It would be nice to have some of the features in full blown AutoCAD.

### "Useful 2-Dimensional Drawing Software for Professionals"

March 5, 2018

5.0

Pros

AutoCAD LT is a pretty powerful 2D drawing software (3D is available with the regular AutoCAD). If you're doing layouts and parts designs, this software can handle that with quite a bit of functionality. It's also very compatible - older files can be opened with newer software, and newer software can save files into older formats for others who are not up-to-date. It's also customizable for the user interface - if you liked the old layout of commands, you can change it. If you like to type your command, you can do that, or if you're better with the mouse and the ribbon, those are also options.

Cons

One of AutoCAD LT's great benefits (Backwards compatibility) could also be holding it back - in order to be compatible it can't quite adapt as quick or as fully as you might expect. With a relatively new ribbon layout along with mouse shortcuts, these concerns are partially eliminated, but it's not quite as quick and clean as other, newer Autodesk software (for example, Inventor). Starting up without any experience is a challenge, but this is true for most 2D or 3D design software.

### "Working with CADs everywhere "

August 9, 2018

5.0

Just the fact that I can work my CAD projects everywhere has make my work so much easy.

Pros

Well I have to say that there's plenty of thing that I really like about AutoCAD LT but I most definitely have to start with the fact that I can access and edit my CAD files in all my devices just using a web browsing, that's just awesome!

Cons

To be completely honest there's nothing I like the least about AutoCAD LT, the prices is great, the functionalities are awesome and the graphics are even better.
