### "AutoCAD LT has been a blast!"

March 7, 2018

5.0

The ability to edit and create plans is amazing!

Pros

I have been taking online classes to learn AutoCAD and am very impressed with the functions of AutoCAD LT. I had no idea all the amazing options you could do and look forward to learning more as I explore more and more of AutoCAD. For example being able to go in and edit any drawing is epic!

Cons

Auto CAD has many great features but one that I feel is a little frustrating is not being able to move items around the screen without constantly having to click a sub key.

### "Fantastic"

August 22, 2017

5.0

Pros

Extremely flexible and easy to use. The user is limited to only to his or her own imagination. I use autoCad Lt on a daily basis and I find new things and short cuts everyday.

Cons

Loading time. Really the only thing is loading time, I can turn it on go get a coffee and by the time I get back its almost done.

January 9, 2018

4.0

Pros

What i liked most about this application is that it required very little support. The program ran very well and did not fail very often.

Cons

What i liked least about this product is that users always expect IT pros to know how to to use it and we just dont.

### "Great Option for lower budgets"

October 21, 2021

5.0

I use AutoCAD LT to quickly assess floorplans and to do test fits of new tenant spaces to confirm that we can meet their needs

Pros

AutoCAD LT offers many of the features of AutoCAD, but at a fraction of the price. The Autodesk Desktop App makes managing installs and deployment easy across our organization.

Cons

AutoCAD LT sacrifices a few features around BIM and 3D that you would find in AutoCAD

### "Great Value priced drafting software"

January 19, 2021

4.0

I've used AutoCad LT for 4 years and have been generally pleased with its features for my use case which is one off products and maintaining a floor plan for out plant layout.

Pros

The price, It is so much cheaper than paying for full AutoCad. Most of the features still exist especially if you are only designing one off products.

Cons

There is very little differentiation in the documentation between AutoCad and AutoCad LT so sometimes you think you can do something but you can't

### "CAD drawing"

March 26, 2019

5.0

overall experience is very good, would recommend others to use especially for amateurs that are learning to use AutoCAD.

Pros

AutoCAD LT provides a wide variety or uses, the most thing I like about the software is the shortcut keys that allows you quick access for the tools required to be used.

Cons

the least thing I like is that when you select multiple items or object you cant unselect 1 or some of them, and you will need to start again from the start.

### "Great 2D design software"

November 6, 2018

5.0

Pros

The ability to draw effectively and fast, complicated designs. The shortcut control+shift+right click+from is addictive , as you can specify your starting point, giving the distance from one reference that already exist in your drawing, without further measuring or construction lines.

Cons

It is very complicated the viewpoints and how you prepare your file to be printed in scale.

### "Makes Creating drawings in the industry standard format easy"

February 16, 2018

4.0

Pros

I liked that this software is pretty functional for a light version and comes from the same stable as the industry leader

Cons

For those who are not CAD experts, getting to grips with the tool will be challenging, however in my experience this is the case with CAD as a whole.

### "A good software for Computer Aided Drafting"

July 24, 2019

5.0

Pros

Well AutoCad Lt Functions same as the regular AutoCad software. I've used this software for a while in my intership. Still this is a good help for me doing my drawings.

Cons

There's no option for 3d or isometric drawings. That function helps a lot in Plumbing Isometric Layout

### "Simple"

September 5, 2017

5.0

I am able to now see the plant layout and plan accordingly.

Pros

Ease of use - I found it very intuitive to complete the majority of the features that AutoCAD has to offer. The price was another determining factor for purchasing this software.

Cons

How many times i find myself clicking the mouse to move, rotate, select, etc. I am accustomed to clicking and dragging and I find myself clicking frequently. I still do this wrong because it is second nature to click and drag.

### "Not another product like AutoCAD LT"

July 7, 2022

5.0

Pros

Often our laboratory wanted to design 2D objects without the crowding of 3D options available in products such as Inventor. AutoCAD LT allowed our group to design workplace environments and 2D views of potential products in a much more simplified setting.

Cons

After creating this designs in AutoCAD LT, it took us some time to figure out how to incorporate the files into a different file format or program. But, all was successful in the end.

### "If all you need is 2D drawings, it will get the job done."

September 5, 2017

3.0

It allows us to view and modify our old 2D drawings.

Pros

If you are looking for inexpensive software to create 2D drawings, AutoCAD LT will get the job done.

Cons

It's very frustrating to use 2D software if you've ever used 3D software, which is much more powerful. (Of course it's not AutoCAD's fault if you're still using 2D.) That said, the interface needs much improvement--it takes too long to do simple things.

### "Less costly alteranative to AutoCAD for 2D drawings"

September 13, 2019

4.0

Overall, this software provides many of the basic features needed for 2D drawing creation, that can be applied into in many industries such as architecture, interior design, or industrial designer.

Pros

The product offers features for editing 2D geometry and annotating architectural drawings. I also love how you can attach and import PDf files. Considering the price, the software is a great tool for many designers.

Cons

The software provides single-user licensing, so it may be difficult to use as a business organization. It is not cloud based.

### "Autocad LT"

December 7, 2016

4.0

Great software for engineering design. All of the features of full version of Autocad except 3D. A less expensive alternative to a great product where 3D is not required.
