At first we were loving them, but over time their support got worse and worse. They couldn't find the most basic back-end information about our account and their support went from taking weeks or months to respond to just not responding at all (after repeated requests). Just a truly horrible experience and we HIGHLY recommend you stay away from them altogether. I doubt they'll be in business much longer anyway. Pros Protects against spam, somewhat easy to create custom emails. Cons NO support whatsoever!!! You have to use their domains for sending your emails, which WILL get blacklisted at some point (and takes over a week to recover, during which time you get NO emails). They offered their platform on a Lifetime Deal platform last year and then left everyone high and dry (just took the money and ran). I don’t use my personal email address for everything and I try to keep it as private as possible. So I use burners to sign up on websites. I like the fact that I can login to BurnerMail and disable any inbox and instantly stop receiving the emails. Pros I love the most direct integration with my browser. This means that whenever there's a field for email Burner Mail's extension is asking if I'd like to create "a new burner". It's super easy as you're just pressing the button and - voila! Your new email is generated there and then! These new emails - you can redirect to any email of your choice + you may send anonymous emails from them. Also there's an option to have fully functional email inbox in BurnerMail, which is 100% and it allows you to control you email with more security. Cons For me there should be more options and better visual interface for dedicated inbox. That way it would be more appealing to use. Burner Mail is the solution." 5.0 Overall Rating 5.0 5.0 Ease of Use 5.0 5.0 Features 5.0 5.0 Customer Service 5.0 5.0 Likelihood to Recommend 9/10 July 7, 2021 Burner Mail is great for what it does - quickly generate a new burner for every site with a identifier, then forwards those emails to whatever main emails you want. But that's not all, since it has a semi-real mailbox to play with just like regular mail, which makes me foresee great new additional features in the future, if they have the same ideas that I do. Either way, it's already a completely developed product for it's use-case, but it has great potential for expansion in other areas as well with some minor tweaking. But that's just my idea. Emails received through BurnerMail also contain their branding and unsubscribe to the burner address link, which you need to be careful when replying because it will reply using that information which should be for your eyes only, so make sure you delete it before replying. I honestly think this should be removed - the branding and the unsubscribed link - from the forwarded emails. Just have it say which was the burner mail being forwarded from and that's it. Pros I am not the kind of person who would spend money on something when not needed. But I started with the Free Burner Mail option, but then quickly got into the Premium plan because it's that good and useful. Little did I know that I would be using Burner Mail so much. Before it, I didn't have a clue that I needed something like this. The simplicity of the one-click burner is the best thing about it. The way I use this, is I create a different Burner Mail for every place I subscribe or register. That way, I can get the important emails from that place where I initially subscribed or registered, and only have those forwarded to my main account. If that site sells my email information, I will know because I have that burner tied only to that site. If my information ever gets stolen, only that anonymous burner mail is leaked, and my main email account remains squeaky clean. So even if I end up in some spammer's list, it doesn't matter, since I can easily block any other emails I don't want and it will never see the light of my main email account. The other thing is, I can also REPLY using that same burner email that I generated, never revealing my real email account. Another cool thing is that I can have the same received email be delivered to multiple mail-boxes. This is useful if you also want to categorize emails or have back-ups. For example, I am subscribed to a particular newsletter that I want to read immediately as received, but also want an archive of those emails. Cons Organizing is the worst part of BurnerMail. You have Burners, Sending burners, and Mailbox. This whole thing seems disorganized. If I want to send an email using a burner, I have to use Sending burners, which means I send an email to a special email that's a burner and that sends that email from the initial burner address to the address I set that to forward it to. And the "Mailbox" is also a different set of burners, which I can receive and reply to emails, like a regular email, but I can't send new emails from that. Only reply to emails that I received, I cannot actually make a new email to whatever recipient I want. I can only send emails through the Sending Burners feature. Basically the MailBox acts as a real email box, with one critical missing feature - sending emails. I still scratch my head sideways thinking about how they missed this. I think that all of these should be combined in someway. The MailBox email should have the ability to also forward emails like normal burners, maybe like a toggle option on which emails to forward, and also the critical ability to create new emails, not just reply to received ones. So I think all of these need to be combined, or at least have the option to get them combined into one. I get the idea that burners are only for forwarding, mailbox for getting emails from newsletters, but what if I want mailboxes to also forward. Maybe have some option to not need different emails for all these purposes in case I want them combined. Since day 1 I purchased this tool I changed all my primary email from other services/platforms to dedicated ones (each service I use has its own generated email), so I can control in much more efficient way the emails I receive from these services and can notice when some service sends unwanted emails so I can just temporarily turn off the specific email address, and turn it on, whenever I need to receive emails from those again. I love this service for real! It has literally made my life easier when it comes to email addresses and control of my Inbox! Pros This is a simple but pretty powerful and convenient platform that allows you to create dynamic emails pretty easily and fast with the primary focus to protect your privacy as well as take better control of your inbox emails, you can activate/de-activate generated emails pretty easy in a really convenient way, for real, this has been one of my best purchases so far! Cons Well, honestly the only thing I don't like too much is the branding it attaches in the emails you send through these dynamic emails, other than that I really love this service!
