It provides you vm-ware connections as well. You can add comments to the diagram so that you can understand it clearly. If your diagram is getting bigger, it will manage it automatically by extending it to next page. Perhaps the benefits of Microsoft Visio include an interesting interface. The program has a lot of tools, but they are all succinctly laid out in panels. Cons Microsoft Visio is a seemingly good editor for building visual statistics. However, it is impossible to use it. The program crashes constantly, from whatever computer I tried to run it. It is my default tool for creating process flow and other visual diagrams that need more details. PowerPoint is OK for simpler illustrations, but if you need something more detailed and tool-like, I find Visio is the place to go. Pros The ease of use. There are more templates and widgets available than I have ever needed. Easy to save as a PDF and share with others who don't have a Visio license. It was easy to learn and use it within no time. Cons For a new user and for someone who is new to visual aid tools, it might take a while to figure out the features and how to use it. Lots of options and tools. Cons Complicated and didn't provide tools that sparked ideas but instead had to fit my ideas into their framework. Lots of clicks. It is very easy to move walls and furniture to create and give them a feel for what the end product will look like, and at the same time create a drawing that is to scale for a contractor to build out the space and bypass the need for an architect.
