Overall HUCU is a great service and platform for the health field as it is HIPAA compliant.

Pros

HUCU is a HIPAA compliant app that allows the clinicians in our practice to coordinate care with other providers, facilities and nurses to provide the best overall care for our patients. Great customer service and quick turnaround time.

Cons

The speed of the app could improve, however the team is very quick to implement changes when something is not working well.

### "Hucu facilitates efficiency and organization"

The ability to communicate quickly and efficiently is a blessing in our environment. When providers are not always able to answer phone calls, texting is essential but not HIPAA compliant and none of the other methods we have tried were as organized by location and patient with the ability to flag patient conditions and changes. We use it to send billing info, patient info and staff notifications. The interaction with the Hucu team is fantastic. They are exceptionally responsive to our needs.

Pros

Hucu.ai gives us the ability to keep multiple patients in multiple locations organized into channels and communicate in a HIPAA compliant manner with the team directly associated with those patients. We are able to flag patients experiencing clinical changes with specifics of the change; admit and discharge easily; add team members or family members to channels easily.

Cons

Initially, the staff created too many specific channels for office staff to communicate in. We have narrowed that list down to make it easier to find what we are looking for. We have had a few changes that we wanted made to identify patient needs more easily but the Hucu team worked with us quickly to meet those needs.

Pros

User friendly layouts and it looks very organized and clean.

Cons

Processing time. The app lags sometimes and take a bit to load.

Pros

Allows HIPPA compliant texting between staff members, allows on call staff to have information on medical changes at their finger tips. Reduces multiple calls between clinical staff. It has improved our intercommunication within our company.

Cons

Easy to set up and implement with current and new staff members. I only wish we would have found this sooner.

Taking care of Medical problems of Nursing Home patients.

Pros

Ease of use. Help with zoom meetings with Nursing Home patients with help of Nursing staff to diagnose & treat medical problems of patients in a timely manner & avoid unnecessary hospitalization. This can save millions of dollars in health care costs & better patient care.

Cons

Lag time. Unable to use Hucu. Ai inside Nursing facility.

Pros

The easy of setting up new patient and allowing patients family members to get in direct contact with the nurse when every they need to.

Pros

I like the ability to communicate with all colleagues in patient threads.

Cons

I liked having the dots on the entries that I have not read. I would prefer to have the threads separated by timeliness categories.
