I purchased this software mainly due to the promise of customization. Turn around time for new documents is not what was promised (45-60 days) also, multiple issues once up on system and work on docs while live. Analyst Used the software for: ### "Great for agencies who use outside vendors for therapy service" June 7, 2016 5.0 We are a growing home health agency that often outsources therapy and social services for our patients. With our previous software, we had no way to safely and easily grant access to other agencies to view or add to only their patient charts. DeVero allows our vendor representatives to easily log in and access their patients' charts instantly without downloading any software to their own system or accessing our network. They easily complete the deVero forms, or upload their own version of therapy notes and route sheets for instant processing by our billing and payroll departments. They also assign their own employees to grant them access to patient charts if necessary. Giving them this control reduces the amount of time spent by our own administrative employees. Having the ability to access the software from anywhere and on any portable device makes it much easier for my nurses to complete most of their charting in the patient's home. It is very rare to hear someone complain about using Devero. Cons We have a few complains about the printing format. The printing format is not constant with PC and Mac. Any inexperienced user will be able to learn and catch on because of its ease of use. The home page has a meticulous spread of useful tools like administration, libraries, custom reports, dashboard ,patient list and State specific forms. The select an action option in every patient chart is extremely useful to mark or unmark specific designations and it is also color coded and eye-catching. I would highly recommend this software to any agency exploring to purchase paperless home health care paperless software or trying to switch gears from synergy or kinnser or other softwares in the market. The website has really become much more modern. I enjoy the new print option, along with the outbound e faxing feature. The faxing feature has cut my faxing time drastically allowing more time for me to accomplish other tasks in my work day. I also enjoy that DeVero offers free custom reports. January 19, 2017 5.0 The layout of the software is designed in a clear and easy-to-use way. The important information is in an optimum position for the eyes to spot and is displayed in an orderly fashion. The page also has other information pertaining to the charts in tabs that keep a comprehensive file of different episodes. The only thing that annoys me is having to scroll back to the particular episode I was in once I have clicked a document that inevitably leads me to a new page, but when I click 'back' I am thrust back to the top of the initial page I was in. November 25, 2015 1.0 ive used this program while working as an MDS resource for Avalon and Deseret. Pros, it is a nice looking interface. If you want to do a comprehensive care plan hmx gives you that flexibility. Cons HMX is not intuitive and there are a lot of rabbit holes to get lost in. Customer support it is not very friendly or knowledgeable. We ended up spending a lot more money on overtime to make hmx work than it would have costed to convert do something decent like Matrix or PCC Review Source DL D.E. L. Their customer support is excellent. They are always friendly and are very quick to solve problems. The only difficulty is having to use another vendor for the back office because it is difficult to make sure all three parties are on the same page.
