### "A Great Tool for Content Management"

July 3, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with HubSpot Content Hub has been great. It's easy to use, helps me stay organized, and makes managing content much more efficient.

Pros

I used HubSpot to manage and schedule all my social media posts, and it made the entire process incredibly easy. I genuinely loved using it.

Cons

The only downside I noticed was that some of the advanced features take a bit of time to learn, especially if you're new to the platform. There's definitely a learning curve, but once you get used to it, it's worth it.

### "Smooth, reliable CMS that plays perfectly with our CRM"

November 18, 2025

4.0

Overall, it’s been excellent for our team. Reliable, easy to work with, and has some great integrations. It has genuinely streamlined how we operate. It’s taken a lot of friction out of managing content and connecting it back to the rest of the business.

Pros

What I liked most about HubSpot is how easily it slots into our day-to-day. I can’t comment on pricing, but the usability alone is worth it - it just makes life simpler. I’m an Inside Seller running hundreds of leads through the CRM, and the clean, straightforward layout makes it easy to stay on top of prospects, tasks, and follow-ups. Tasks, in particular, are a non-negotiable for my workflow. I’ve used a few different systems over the years, but HubSpot wins hands-down for its intuitive UI and the way it creates genuinely unified workflows. Being able to link Outlook straight into the platform is a massive help too - keeps everything tidy and in one place.

Cons

Occasional guardrails when it comes to seeing some data but that's in the works - updates are implemented and work great out of the gate. not much to complain about to be honest

### "Basic CMS that works well with the Hubspot CRm"

June 15, 2022

3.0

Pros

That it is fully integrated with the CRM out of the box.

Cons

The A/B testning is weak, allowing you only to try out one page at a time. Hinders you from getting a full view of the impact each page had on the overall goal.

### "Great Tool with Lots of Features"

April 22, 2026

4.0

Pros

Having one (mostly) central spot to keep and organize all of our marketing assets makes building out new content really easy. There is a definite learning curve in using the system, but the Breeze agent is really helpful in helping me learn and navigate the system.

Cons

The email style doesn't automatically apply to new emails, and not being able to use Content emails in the Sales sequences is a challenge.

### "Good newsletter solution for small email lists."

November 3, 2025

4.0

It has a relatively high learning curve compared to other email services, but you get what you pay for. The service has worked for simple emails.

Pros

I like that they allow 2,000 free emails per month, so I can keep my supporters up to date on what I am doing in my ministry. It automatically handles unsubscribes, has contact segmenting, auto-fill tokens so I can personalize my emails, and a great text editor to make my email sending easy.

Cons

I wish the token service was more robust and easier to use conditional statements with. It doesn't have if/then for the conditionals, at least not with the free version.

Switched from

### "Seamless integrated marketing platform for your website"

May 24, 2025

5.0

Overall it's been a pleasure to work with, over the last couple years I have migrated a number of sites from Wordpress environments to Hubspot and it has been a good experience bringing more structure, organization, security and integrated marking to these sites.

Pros

Through Hubspot's CMS Hub it's easy to seamlessly integrate and develop your website with all your other marketing activities if you are using Hubspot as your main marketing platform. The CMS system makes it easy with robust themes and a versatile editor, good for beginners and advanced users. You can manage multiple domains/sites and have your analytics with it.

Cons

There is often some limitations with the web development, while you do have a high degree of control you are still a little bit constrained within their system and have to adapt to their flow of processes. That said over the past couple years they continue to develop and improve it and I find it has become much more developer friendly as time has gone on.

Switched from

[WordPress](https://www.capterra.com/p/131687/WordPress/)

We switched most of our web entities from Wordpress to Hubspot because overtime it became problematic to maintain and develop. Wordpress has become bloated and has increasing security issues. Hubspot provided a better alternative to standardize on.

### "Great CMS for non-developers with some limitations"

October 31, 2020

4.0

Overall, CMS Hub has helped us build a much more consistent and reliable website. It keeps us on track and makes it a snap to create pages for short-term promotions or urgently-needed webpages. It's a very handy tool and I certainly recommend it.

Pros

The greatest thing about the HubSpot CMS is that it's very straightforward and allows just about anyone to create a modern, clean-looking website with modern functionality. The drag-and-drop interface that it currently uses is a massive improvement over the previous functionality, which I would probably not have recommended. The Asset Marketplace allows you to find a lot of pieces and features to put together your own custom (ish) build. It's also (needless to say) an incredible bonus that the website integrates perfectly with HubSpot's CRM.

Cons

My least favorite part about using HubSpot CMS is that some things are just not customizable when they ought to be, and some things are not possible to do when they also ought to be. It would also be nice to have the ability to organize pages and posts by folders as well to cut down on clutter when it comes to organizing and keeping track of your website pages.

Reason for choosing HubSpot Content Hub

We had switched to HubSpot for CRM and were enjoying it -- wanted to do more in HubSpot to improve our marketing automation and the CMS was the next natural step that provided a quicker platform.

Switched from

[Wix](https://www.capterra.com/p/169007/Wix/)

We switched because we were too big for Wix, and Wix's code is messy -- it causes sites built with Wix to load very slowly and make for a poor web experience. There is a lot to be said for Wix but ultimately it was too slow.

### "Uncovering leads through blog posts and premium content"

March 12, 2020

5.0

Overall the CMS is very easy to use - whether updating a web page or publishing a new blog post - and provides valuable insights. Having a fully integrated CMS plus CRM is helpful to our sales team as we look to uncover new leads and understand which topics are most interesting to our clients and prospects.

Pros

We really appreciate the integration between our website page views, email engagement, and our sales pipeline. Understanding the trends regarding what content on our website is generating the most sessions, page views, and ultimately leads is extremely helpful.

Cons

It can be difficult to clean up the contact list from website users who subscribe to our blog, download eBooks, or register for events. Figuring out which contacts are outdated and could be deleted could be improved.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing HubSpot Content Hub

### "Easy and Organized "

September 5, 2025

5.0

Overall, things with HubSpot work well. The minor issues we encounter don't slow down productivity, and they don't get in the way too much. The ease of access makes it an easy choice for our business.

Pros

The design is clean and easy to understand. I'm able to clearly access what our clients have done with their accounts, whether it's making a purchase or viewing part of the website.

Cons

I get signed out a lot. Not sure if that's a bug in the system or a safety feature, but either way, I feel like I'm constantly having to relog into our company's account. Also, sometimes a tab is opened, and it becomes the new standard setting. Not sure how to get rid of it.

### "HubSpot CMS Hub Review "

May 17, 2025

4.0

Easy to use interface. Customer service is never perfect, but there for a reason and does its' job.

Pros

The seamless integration with HubSpot’s CRM and marketing tools. Unlike other platforms, everything is built to work together—website, email, automation, and customer data—so you can personalize experiences and scale faster without duct-taping different systems.

Cons

The higher price compared to basic platforms. It’s not the cheapest option, but if you’re serious about growth and want powerful tools without the mess of plugins, the value is absolutely worth it.

### "The most intuitive CMS platform"

Up to now, I'm very satisfied with HubSpot CMS as we can create and manage customized content experiences, with flexibility and easy connectivity among several tools and apps.

Pros

I really like the fact that you can build a website for free, even with the HubSpot logo on it.

Cons

It's not so easy to navigate since there are several features on the dashboard and sometimes it can be a challenge to find what you need right away.

It simplifies website management and enhances marketing efforts by providing an all-in-one solution.

### "It’s my go -to. Every. Single. Time."

March 12, 2020

5.0

We’ve grown our business immensely internally and externally. From how we relate to our customers and keep them organized, to internal organization for our employees, it’s a dream come true when you’re dealing with so many systems and processes, to have them all under one roof.

Pros

HubSpot loves to love their clients, which makes it easy for us to love our customers well. They go the distance to help you make it work, and customize everything exactly how you need it. They grow with you, and show you the value of where you’re putting your money!

Cons

There are a couple integrations that have proven difficult or just non existent. The price jump between plans it’s quite significant, and I would love to see more ‘middle ground plans’ be met between them.

### "The only Marketing and Sales software I'll ever use"

March 12, 2020

4.0

We're still (almost 2 years in!) in the early phases of laying down the foundations of our content strategy but the tools are second to none for content management. We're able to plan, create and analyse all of our content at the click of a button, helping us to improve and keep delivering amazing content to our prospects and customers.

Pros

I've been using HubSpot for around five years now and have grown my career with the platform. I love how intuitive it is, how seamlessly it fits into our existing processes and how the team are constantly developing and testing to help marketers, salespeople and customer services do their very best every day.

Cons

There's not anything I particularly dislike about the software, but I can appreciate for someone new to the platform it could be a little overwhelming with the size and scale of it. Luckily there's expert support and plenty of resources to help you find your way.

### "A great platform for CRM and CMS together"

Overall, this CMS has been a great tool for us and has helped us to build out a comprehensive marketing platform online.

Pros

The web design tools are user-friendly and work well. It also has plenty of features for those who want to dive deeper into the code. We've been able to accomplish a lot with additional Javascript, and even HubDB, Hubspot's own database system. Customer support is quick and responsive as well.

Cons

Occasional glitches do happen from time to time, but these are infrequent.

Following up with leads. Tracking the status of a lead.

Pros

Integrations with Office 365 and CRM tools. Easy of use but few minor bugs. Hard to switch people due to fear of change.

Cons

More ways to sort out the data on Marketing Hubspot, like comparing different campaign sent times. Email tokens - you must watch out for. When you sent an email and reread it from the sent box, the Activity Feed tracks that as an additional open.

### "A little pricey"

February 28, 2023

5.0

Content Management is a breeze with Hubspot CMS, but again pricing is an issue for us.

Pros

I've found that other CMS I have used are a lot less user friendly than Hubspot. In Hubspot CMS Hub all the features are easily accessible, right where I would think to look for them.

Cons

I find that this software is a lot more pricey than similar options on the market, which makes it less attractive to some smaller companies.
