Really great experience, all around. The customer service with issues that arose, which were few and far in between, and the overall experience has been nothing but positive.

Pros

It’s super straightforward for expense tracking. Making itemizations, especially for hotels, makes it very easy to use. My colleague also had a weird bug where he could t log in and we were able to get on a call with customer support quickly, who resolved the issue. It’s also helpful with showing you the approval process and audit timeline.

Cons

I really don’t have any. It’s a great platform for expenses and has an efficient payment processing path batched in, making it a great option, with high value for the money.

SAP Concur does the job when it comes to keeping our accounting team on top of invoices and expenses, but it's not a tool anyone gets excited about using. It's one of those platforms where you appreciate what it does more than how it does it. Concur is functional, but rough around the edges in ways that add up over time. If you go with it, just budget some extra time for onboarding new users.

Pros

Once you get past the learning curve, the expense tracking and invoice management side of things is actually pretty solid. Everything gets routed the right way and approvals don't get lost in someone's inbox anymore. For our accounting department it's made managing incoming invoices a lot more organized compared to what we were doing before. The audit trail it keeps is genuinely helpful when something needs to be looked up weeks later.

Cons

The interface feels like it was designed by engineers for engineers. It's not intuitive at all and even staff who are pretty comfortable with software have needed hand-holding to get up to speed. Simple tasks can take way more clicks than they should, and the mobile experience leaves a lot to be desired if someone needs to approve something on the go. Support documentation exists but finding answers to specific questions usually takes longer than it should.

Our experience has overall been good with Concur. Sure there are somethings that every business wants that a service doesn't provide, but I'd say overall, Concur gets us 95% of the way to perfect state. It really helps us manage both travel, providers, and approvals in an organized and efficient means.

Pros

The expense reporting system is very easy to use, and flows nicely. Importing invoices either via app or scans is very simple and easy to use. Concur also allowed us to customize categories of expenses and accounts to put them to. Finally, it has a nice set up for booking travel via all the big outlets (hotel/airfare/rental cars/train). It also has allowed our company to identify preferred providers and push users toward those providers.

Cons

Reporting isn't great. Trying to get customized reporting for accounting purposes is definitely a struggle. Additionally, if you have less than conventional travel (one way train, where you want to change category during the trip (coach for part of the trip/sleeper for second part)) it's not quite flexible enough to handle those situations. Not a huge deal, but can be annoying at times.

Overall, it's easy to download and add each receipt separately. You can even add receipts as you go and then submit ALL at the end of the month.

Pros

It's easy to navigate and to add expenses. Attachments are easy to add as a pdf. You can also add separately what the expense was for as it relates to each entry.

Cons

If you don't have the name of the people at a particular business that you are adding the expense to, it's a little complicated to search. If they are there then you just add them.

I would rather work with an expense form using a pen or pencil. Working with Concur is extremely frustrating and time consuming. I have to complete the forms numerous times because of error codes that do not adequately explain how to correct the errors.

Pros

The sign in process is easy. Other than that, I cannot think of anything there is to like about SAP Concur.

Cons

Cumbersome. Not user friendly. It takes hours to complete a simple report. There are many problems matching up receipts with expenses. Not being able to talk with someone to help solve use problems.

Pros

What I liked most about SAP Concur was its all-in-one approach to travel booking, expense tracking, and payment processing. The platform is easy to use, helps streamline approvals and team management, and provides strong visibility into company spending. It also delivers good value for money by reducing manual work and improving compliance. Customer support was responsive when issues arose, and the mobile app made submitting expenses while traveling especially convenient.

Cons

What I liked least about SAP Concur was that some features can feel overly complex and take time for new users to learn. Expense tracking and payment processing require many steps, which could be consolidated if frequently inputted information could self-populate once recognized. Also, the travel booking experience is sometimes slower than consumer travel sites. Team management and approval workflows are powerful but can be difficult to customize without admin support.

Easy to train peopje on how to use. Reduces time of expense reporting. Reportis correct expense coding. Reduces accounts payable intervention and correction of errors. Streamlines the authozation process. Produces monthly expenses reports.

Pros

Easy to use Can scan/ use from phone, tablet or PC on or off line. Visa statements can be sent and easily uploaded and coded Records the expenses automatically - no manual input required You can have default expense coding which can be easily changed if required Many levels of review and authorization can be set up..

Cons

If an expenses is shared between departments this requires manual changes to the default expenses codes
