Pros

  • The support that is offered is very speedy and the capabilities are great. We get a report which shows who has watched the replays of webinars too so we can reach out to them appropriately.

  • Webinar.net has been a great platform to easily produce our many webinars with quality. The webinar.net team is very friendly and helpful, and always happy to help answer any questions our team has.

  • I love how quickly and easily you can build, promote and execute a successful webinar.

  • It has a powerful feature set for external webinars but unlike other solutions it is very easy to use and they have an affordable monthly subscription.

Cons

  • Based on my use, I can't find anything yet I can fault on this.

  • I do not have any specific point that makes me see the system as negative as I have not had problems using the platform.

  • Their contract was simple and straightforward and their Sales Reps are very professional but I felt absolutely zero pressure - was quite refreshing.

  • I haven't really come across something that I "dislike" about the tool yet.

"Great bang for the buck"

Pros: We've run over 200 webinars on Webinar.net so far. It's been a phenomenal experience. Easy-to-use. Super customizable. Great price point. We shopped around forever looking for the right webinar solution and we finally found it with Webinar.net.

Cons: Could use some additional features but the Webinar.net team is working on it and is very good about sourcing our feedback.

"A Webinar Tool That A Noticeable ROI"

Overall: From our business cards to our website, the most important thing in our business is design and brand control. Webinar.net has allowed us to achieve an unprecedented level of control over our brand. So our webinars have gone from something where we "accept" the design to one of the key things we push for prospective clients!

Pros: It's completely cloud-based and completely customizable! It reminds me of when I moved from Microsoft Word to Google Docs. No more plugins to download, update, etc. and we've completely branded our interface. You would think that our company built the entire interface with how we've designed the template! Now that we've got our template, it's ready to go! So we can spin up a webinar in just a few minutes. As a web design company, it's critical for us that our brand is consistent and impressive. Out of all the tools we use for invoicing, project management, training, etc., Webinar.net is the only one that provides complete control of the interface we share with customers. I wish they would make other tools as well so our entire customer experience could be branded so consistently.

Cons: I haven't really come across something that I "dislike" about the tool yet... I guess there could be more documentation on all the different options, but it's pretty intuitive. So that didn't really cause any issues for us.

Alternatives Considered: Webex Suite, Zoom Events and Webinars and GoTo Meeting

"Ability to brand our online events is outstanding"

Overall: We were very pleased how Webinar.net worked in conjunction with Swoogo. The joining of both of these programs allowed us to host a very professional online event that was easy for attendees to navigate.

Pros: The ability to brand our online events was a huge asset for us. You don't have to know coding in order to do this. For a smaller organization like ours, that is important.

Cons: The software could be a bit more user friendly in terms of using it to set up and run webinars. We continue to see tweaks and updates so we feel confident that it will become seamless. We had to use a 3rd party to support our team in using this for our national virtual summit. Our thought process is that we would continue to use it to support our webinars all year long but it wasn't quite as simple to coordinate the events without the support of that 3rd party for our smaller team.

"Excellent Enterprise Level Webcast Platform!"

Overall: With a robust webcast program (200 webcasts per year), we needed a solid webcast platform that performed on many levels, especially various options for playback and interface design. The backend is super user-friendly for both the user and speaker, plus the reporting dashboard elements are handy and easy to access. This platform has it all!

Pros: The interface features such as the widgets and ease of accessibility are two of many things that drew me to this platform. Also, no plug-in needed!

Cons: The added costs for fully integrating this software with current AMS.

Reasons for Choosing Webinar.net: The overall experience from a frontend and backend perspective were the main drivers in choosing webinar.net. I can't say it enough...webinar.net doesn't require the dreaded plug-in. Major win for us!

Reasons for Switching to Webinar.net: GoToWebinar lacked in many ways including playback options, way less customization features, limited handouts per webcast, and a plug-in was needed (major con).

"Powerful, easy to use, and great service!"

Overall: From the time I filled out a contact form on their website to demo, free trial, on-boarding and on-going support, these guys have been incredibly easy to work with. Their contract was simple and straightforward and their Sales Reps are very professional but I felt absolutely zero pressure - was quite refreshing.

Pros: Webinar.net was built by true webinar professional and this software is so easy to use yet creates a really elegant, professional interface for audiences to interact with. Additionally their Client Services Team is awesome.

Cons: Not much to NOT like but interested to see what product improvements they make (but so far very happy with they way they have invested in the platform)

Alternatives Considered: Zoom Events and Webinars
Reasons for Choosing Webinar.net: Webinar.net is much more profession and requires no downloads for our clients which was a big deal!
Reasons for Switching to Webinar.net: Pricing, service and overall a better product
