Pros I really like the ease of use with Awin, alongside the robust reporting suite that's available. Most of all, I like the commissioning structure of Awin - a step above the rest! Cons I find that some areas of the Awin site can be a little slow, and there are a few bits within the reporting suite that can cause frustration when downloading data. Then when I did and wasn't happy they are nearly impossible to cancel. Pros Their platform is comprehensive. They do have a few marketing tools that are ok. There tracking seems to track aggressively. We did not have the same numbers when they were Share A Sale Cons This company is NOTHING more than a discount code affiliate company. NOT what you want for an affiliate program for small to mid size business. Very expensive. You better be sure you want to stay with this company forever because they are impossible to CANCEL. Ive even shared with cowokers who agree its a great site! Pros I love free programs and this one can be used with ease! They make it simple to find people and them onto your sites. Data Analysis Consultant Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "A neat affiliate platform, but tracking on the advertiser site is not trivial" April 8, 2022 4.0 As an agency, we offer support to our clients running operations on Awin: we set up the tracking code on their websites, we integrate Awin data with the data coming from Google Analytics and other monitoring tools to create dashboards or datasets in BigQuery to be used as an input to BI systems Pros The platform is easy to use (talking as an advertiser, not a publisher): it is cloud based, accessible from anywhere, neat, clear and comprehensive. The support for advertisers is good enough (there is a lot of documentation on the web, quite clear though not the best I have ever seen, but then there are Awin customer managers who are helpful and skilled). The platform has API to integrate seamlessly with BI and data visualization tools. Cons The implementation of the tracking code on the advertiser website is not trivial: in order to exploit all Awin possibilities you have to pass a lot of detailed info. Commission calculations are also hard to understand at first, with many different voices that create some confusion. Review Source AD Andy D. Pros The dashboard is very easy to use and Awin have been at the forefront of pushing for change in the affiliate industry. Awin were early campaigners of pushing brands to use the most complete tracking solutions and i'm a fan of the probabilistic tracking solution that has recently been implemented Cons I feel like compared to other affiliate networks, there are less reporting features and less customisation to build reports that are relevant for your brand. I know service level is now dependent on which tier a brand opts for, however response times/account knowledge from account managers hasn't always been amazing in my experience Review Source AN Artur N. But I wasn't accepted in one of the programs and that makes me feel like wasting time by paying the 5$. Still, I know is not the only brand and I use many others that have been fine until now. Pros Is a good affiliate program to start, it has a ton of options for partnership with brands and the good part is that everyday brands sum up into this program. Also, you can start even if you don't have much experience or followers on a channel or social media. Cons I don't like that you have to pay 5$ to get into the program because you don't know if you will be accepted into the brand that you choose. But it doesn't seem to track well. There is potential to earn a lot, pretty quickly. Their wiki pages are helpful for beginners like me. There is a wide range of advertisers. Cons My links are being tracked for clicks, but not my readers' transactions, so I am not earning and losing money. Awin asked me to make a test transaction - which I must spend my own money on. It seems unreasonable for me to pay so they can figure out what is going wrong with their software! Customer service is not helpful - they make assumptions that I am experienced with coding - they need to make their directions more beginner-friendly.
