“there is one main approvement i think they should make and that is a lot of industries uses square and they do offer it for online purchases but should also integrate it for in person also, they are partnered with 360 payment and i think its wrong to charge people per transaction then also charge a monthly fee on top of that. “

“My only complaint is that I have to add a year to be able to save a vehicle/hull's information to a customer; sometimes with certain boats & the work that we do it is not necessary to have the year or customers often do not know the year of their boat.“

It was overall okay. Writing invoices was very easy and they presented a very professional feel. Navigating the software was king old of clunky and awkward. Sometimes the vehicle I wanted to add just wasn’t there. The vin decode did work well and the integration with Carfax was nice.

Pros

It’s got everything an automotive shop would need to survive in the digital world. It offered all these features at a fraction of the price of its competition.

Cons

It’s kind of clunky. I used it primarily as a mobile mechanic and the phone interface leaves a lot to be desired. It is function, don’t get me wrong, it’s a scaled version of the web app. I’d like a slicker, easier to use and navigate interface.

ARI is great so far. despite the learning curve, it is intuitive and easy to use, I like the layout and the integrations as well!

Pros

ARI is great! We especially enjoy the ability to give customers a "customer site" where they can follow along with the repair process. We also enjoy being able to offer financing and the price for ARI is super cheap for the amount of value they provide! Customer support is great, they respond quickly and have solutions ready. Creating estimates is a breeze with the AI function. I am not worried about security either because it is all on the cloud!

Cons

it can be a bit of a learning curve. Also, I am still unsure if the estimates that I have written on ARI will stand up to the insurance companies requirements? I guess we will have to wait and see. I do not like how the "markup" works. I should be able to mark up some things and not have to mark up everything.

ARI has greatly increased my ability to grow as a business and helped me learn as a technician and owner.

Pros

I like the structure of the interface. It makes building a job card from just a parts list and invoice a breeze. Having the labor hours on hand anytime has really help me to stop shooting myself in the foot when quoting jobs. The professional look of the invoices has also help to grow my business from a guy who can fix stuff to That Technician who can fix anything.

Cons

What I liked least about ARI would be the only down side and that's paying for it! Duh hahhahahahaha

overall, my experience with ari has been positive. it is a solid and cost-effective system for auto repair shops. with stronger inventory tools, better bookkeeping features, smarter receipt handling, and more ai automation, it could become an excellent all-in-one platform.

Pros

i like ari for its simplicity, affordable pricing, and good customer service. it is easy to use for daily shop operations and works well for estimates, invoices, and basic management without being overly complicated.

Cons

inventory and bookkeeping need improvement. expense receipt screenshots should be smarter, with ai recognizing whether they belong to expenses or cost of goods sold. warranty reimbursements also need better tools, such as issuing credits to customers and tracking vendor credits.

My shop personnel love the tool. Estimates are easy. The custom templates allowed us to dial in the perfect presentation of invoices while presenting necessary legal disclosures/disclaimers cleanly.

Pros

Extremely easy to use. First class support. I like that they offered a hands-on demo of the administrative side for prospective customers to explore. Additionally they have a trial that gives customers an opportunity to get comfortable with the solution before paying money. This solution is an incredible tool at an extremely affordable price point. ARI will revolutionize the shop management software industry.

Cons

Haven't found anything I dislike about the solution. I wish they had more integrations on the labor rate calculator. While they have \[sensitive content hidden\], it would be great if they could get Motor TruSpeed too.

Overall, happy for what we are paying. Even though there is still glitches and little things that need to be ironed out, overall its a good software and has lots of potential.

Pros

The price is very good. Also, they always try to improve with constant updates. Customer service is good and you get fairly quick responses.

Cons

Lots of glitches, have to go back and forth to update pages. Also, cant sort invoices by taxable and tax exempt.

So far it has been a good experience. Seeing a lot of value in having access to the labor guides. And the inspections. Once we organized it to meet our needs it makes going through the inspections a breeze.

Pros

The price point and the ability to play with the system before committing to the purchase was crucial for our small business. The ease of use and learning how it works was very easy and efficient.

Cons

It doesn’t work as well on IOS so we typically have to use it in the shop laptop. But it works great on windows.

I actually am very pleased with the app and all its features and how they are always on top of updates.

Pros

They have a great customer support team that gets back with you asap. There is a a lot of features this program does for the value that you pay monthly compared to other programs out there for the auto industry.

Cons

Square does not charge a monthly fee and it is much easier to use in my opinion.

Overall we are satisfied with the product for the price. I would not pay much more for it before using a service which has better support.

Pros

It’s an inexpensive alternative to the other shop software. It helps me keep track of our appointments.

Cons

It’s difficult to use for me. It’s hard to elaborate on the things I like least. However getting to maps from the appts is ridiculous. Requires to many presses.

So far, so good. We downsized our shop and no longer need such a robust (expensive) shop management software. We do not use Mitchell, but ALLDATA and that’s the only thing we miss from Tekmetric is pulling labor times over.

Pros

I love the scheduling, the parts tech integration, and the messaging functionality.

Cons

The UI is a little clunky, but we are coming off of Tekmetric

The model was very close to tekmetric, we prefer apps over websites, and the scheduler as well as the client portal is phenomenal. We deal with fleets mostly now and this was exactly what we needed.

We are a start up so we were coming up with processes from the ground up. Once I found ARI, they made it so simple.

Pros

Finding ARI was a game changer for us. Most shop software is out of reach for a company just starting out. Through lots of looking I found ARI. The price is actually affordable and it does everything we need. The integrations are amazing and makes running the business so much simpler. We use ARI for every step of our process, everyday. I especially love the estimate & invoice system. Thank you ARI!

Cons

The only thing I have noticed is that I don't get alerts when someone schedules an appointment so I have to check the calendar frequently to make sure I don't miss anything.

Workable and have room for improvement. We would love to push this software to all garages and parts dealers if it can be done via us. Gives us room to track cars across different garage which will add value to the software as well as users
