We switched because our previous affiliate platform was not reliable enough, particularly around tracking and attribution. UpPromote has been a clear improvement. It integrates well with Shopify, gives us better visibility over where affiliate sales are coming from, and makes it easier to reward partners accurately. It has helped us create a more scalable affiliate programme with far less manual admin, and \[sensitive content hidden\] from support was especially kind, patient, and helpful during setup. Pros UpPromote has made it much easier for us to manage and grow our affiliate programme directly through Shopify. The tracking is much clearer than our previous platform, which had caused us problems with attribution and partner sales. We can now manage affiliate links, discount codes, commissions, applications, referrals, and payouts from one place, which saves time and gives us much more confidence in the data. It has already helped us generate more revenue through affiliate and partner sales, and the support has been excellent. Cons There is a bit of a learning curve when setting up some of the more advanced features, especially multi-level commissions and email/domain authentication. That said, whenever I’ve needed help, the support team has been very responsive and clear, so this has not been a major issue. For an affiliate programme to work properly, we need to trust that partner links, discount codes, sales, and commissions are being tracked accurately. Pros Love that this is connected to Shopify. It makes everything easier to have everything within Shopify. Love that it tracks orders and referrals for me and payouts are fairly easy. Wish it was a little easier to do auto payouts through paypal. However, we tend to catch scam affiliates when doing manual payouts so that is a plus. Cons My only frustration so far is that we exceeded our monthly referral numbers one month and didn't know that referrals were not getting approved. Had to upgrade to do that and affiliates were frustrated that pending referrals sat pending for several months. Pros Makes it easy to work with Affiliates. The auto payouts, bulk messaging, and even the customer support are incredible. Cons Honestly I can't think of anything off the top of my head that I would say is a con. Truly easy to use and implement. They are great to use and work with. Pros Their customer support is excellent. They are always available 24/7. I have never left a chat unsatisfied. Cons I wish they had a community where brands and affiliates could communicate and find good fits for campaigns or partnerships. That would be very helpful. We will carry on working with them for as long as we can. They also have great customer service. Pros It just worked so well. Extremely simple. Very convenient and our affiliated loved it. We had a few people join our programme and where really happy with the results. Cons It was a bit pricey for the premium version and there is a feature in there that we really wanted to use.
