Adept is a very good tool for compliance management and is currently a prerequisite for the company to maintain the rig's Acknowledgement of compliance. Pros Adept is user friendly and gives a good overview over the compliance status in the company. Adept has high focus on customers and gives great and quick support. Cons Adept works great for Compliance overview. When it comes to work environment and WEAC it would be beneficial if also tasks analysis could be included in the overview. Alternatives considered [Microsoft Excel](https://www.capterra.com/p/176574/Excel/) Reason for choosing Adept Adept offers a good overview over relevant requirements, the compliance status of our units and facilitates for several users to use the system simultaneously. It is easy to share outstanding assessments with relevant personnel for them to verify. For our company it is down to knowledge and lack of day to day use of Adept that limits the benefit - not the software. Pros Easy the process of verifying and documenting compliance to applicable /Selected) rules & regulations Cons On some steps it does require some 'clicking' and configuration. You can easily perform GAP analysis and track status on all relevant requirements. Pros All relevant requirements can be added and the company has a complete requirement library of all Laws, regulations and standards in one pace. Cons Although you can make a link to technical documents and management system documents, I would like the software to also include a document library for all company specific documents. Reason for choosing Adept The alternative was to perform GAP analysis and compliance reporting in Excel spreadsheets. Requirement documents (ie. regulations and standards) are constantly revised and it is impossible to track these changes in Excel. Review Source THL Tormod Holth L. Successfully used in several challenging projects. Pros The set-up of the system and all relevant laws, regulations standards located in one library/place. Always updated to latest versions. Easy delegation of responsibility and overview of tasks and status (dashboards). Support always at hand. Easy to create overviews, reports and e.g. Excel lists for export/import of data.
