Not only the developers, but also the entire Divi support team do incredibly good work. Pros Divi Theme offers a fantastic template with Divi 5. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable, especially with a lifetime partnership. Support is available 24/7, providing the best possible service and always ready to help. Cons Nothing comes to mind. I was already a member back in the Divi 4 days and was pleasantly surprised by the possibilities compared to other providers. Divi 5 is a whole different Galaxy compared to Divi 4. There was and is nothing to complain about. Sky is your limit! And it is a perfect tool for someone without IT background. As a designer I find it super user friendly and stable (in a way that I had no serious issues with it ever!). I have build probably more than 500 websites on it and would change it. Pros The product (Divi) is absolutely fantastic and you can build whatever you wish with it, even if you don't have IT background. They have amazing support, each time I need their help - they know all the answers and are super quick and professional. Cons Nothing! Really there is nothing I would change about Divi, my background is design and it is a great tool for people like me. I don't need anything other that what I have. At some point it was growing too fast and I got overwhelmed but as soon as I was able to catch up - it was all fine. And the support team was always there for me! Okay, I don't like presets... I've only used Divi 4, but I'm considering moving to Divi 5. Pros I've been using Divi to build websites for my clients for over 10 years. It's simple to create any design you can think of. And when you get stuck, Elegant Theme's technical support is THE BEST! They are friendly, helpful and always have a solution. Can't say enough good things about them -- All of them! I have been a user since 2019 and subscribed to the VIP support service, which, even though I don't use it regularly, has more than paid for itself because when I have got into trouble by changing something I shouldn't have, they've been there to put it right for me very quickly. Pros This theme builder just keeps on improving. I suppose learning the new v5 will be a bit of a steep learning curve and I am a bit nervous about moving my established site, so I might get to use Divi VIP Support a bit more :) Cons I'm not a web developer, so sometimes navigation can be tricky, but on the whole, there's not a lot to dislike. January 23, 2025 4.0 I purchased a life-time membership/subscription years ago. I've been 'thrashing about' forever, intending to seriously launch my website; Divi is my only Theme. It's so versatile and so capable, but there are some glaring holes in its capabilities. Pros What I like MOST about Divi is the SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVES. So many of them are really top-quality. Case in point: Today I sought assistance from Divi Support Engineer \[sensitive content hidden\] in creating a button that copies the current post's URL to the clipboard. That makes it quick and easy for a visitor to share the post by pasting the URL link into an email, a browser or whatever. I've been trying to implement this simple feature for YEARS(!) but have never found online instructions. The Divi HELP Instructions provided by the Divi Help BOT were terrible! Useless. I'm very thankful that \[sensitive content hidden\] rescued me from that mess. He quickly understood my goal and provided excellent, concise instructions for EXACTLY how to accomplish it. Complete with the CODE necessary to make it work. Perfect! Many times in the past I have had the great benefit of \[sensitive content hidden\]'s OUTSTANDING technical know how. Today's encounter was tremendously helpful, but is just the most recent example. Whatever you're paying \[sensitive content hidden\], PAY HIM MORE! =D I offered to tip him $10 for his efforts, but that's not possible (unfortunately). Cons I like Divi a lot, but I have been frustrated for years by ET's focus on fancy new features, while neglecting so many basic features that either need improvement, or don't exist at all. For example, the 'Copy URL' button referenced in the section above. That's a VERY important feature and a very SIMPLE feature, yet it is not a standard Divi feature. Very frustrating... Reason for choosing Divi Flexibility and broad capabilities. Unfortunately, to use Divi fully requires CSS coding skills, which I don't have. So I have to compromise and work around some issues. It is easy to use, but very powerful. It may seem simple but that is the great thing, you have the power of complete control all within a user friendly interface. The only page builder you should use. \[sensitive content hidden\] also recently helped me on support, she made my life simple and handled it better than any other support service out there. No long wait times or useless links to documents that won't even help you. Support makes using it and learning how to use it to its full potential effortless. I have never been unhappy with divi. Pros The versatility of the product allows you to make anything you can imagine. Integrated perfectly with all the proper plugins. It works and cuts down my time to build websites with premade templates and community layouts etc. They also have a market place where they sell themes, plugins and layouts etc. I purchased a lifetime license and it has been serving me well over the years. Pros I was so smitten by Divi's marketing campaign when they launched initially. The campaign was simple but the energy and what they were presenting was so cool at that time. It is simple to use, optimizes SEO, Wireframe view and visual editor is well organised, the out of the box templates are great starting point and the new AI feature that is recently added does a okay job but it is getting better I must say! Cons While they do their best, Divi adds more load to the websites with libraries, extensions and modules etc. The recent one has cut down on a lot of unnecessary stuff, but it still adds a lot of things that might not be necessary. Yo soy un emprendedor, necesitaría invertir mucho dinero diseñando webs para cada idea que tengo,mientras que con Divi puede simplemente poner en práctica mi idea sin gastar demasiado, y lo más excitante es que en pocos minutos puedo ver mi idea hecha una realidad. Pros Lo que más me ha gustado de Divi es que un constructor altamente visual e intuitivo, que me permite diseñar mi sitio web sólo con arrastrar y soltar elementos desde su biblioteca de plantilas personalizable. Además, estos diseños son responsivos, por lo que no tengo que preocuparte por estar adaptando los diseños. Cons Una de las cosas que no me gusta del Divi, pero que no es exclusiva, sino que pasa con todos los constructores de este tipo es que las páginas cargan lento, se hace un código pesado, además que migrar a otro sistema requiere literalmente de un cambio, es una mudanza porque nada se puede adaptar. It's smoking fast and I love the whole idea of the option group presets. Pros Excellent support! They give clear instructions and show video walkthroughs, which helps me learn faster and fix problems more easily. Cons I've had issues with bugs from the very beginning with earlier iterations of Divi, though, this was partly due to my lack of coding experience. But even before that there was no comparison with the growing plethora of easier to use tools. Even further back (mid 1990s++), I edited html files in a text editor(e.g. vi). Funny how it seemed cool a the time. Nevertheless, I still use Dreamweaver for content "under the hood" (not public) of some sites. The best of all worlds. Even when there's a problem that's been caused by a bought plugin. You can do very much with the on board tools and create a nice looking website. Cons For special design purposes there is often custom code necessary. But it's provides by the support team. They even send videos with guidance on how to change your custom DiVi builder blocks. We are looking forward to use DiVi5 in the near future.
