### "Divi Theme and it's positive Features"

September 26, 2023

5.0

Using Divi Theme you can create modern websites very quickly. The price of the theme is reasonable for the offered functionality and the licensing policy is very moderate compared to other themes. Therefore, I can still recommend the Divi theme for most websites.

Pros

When I first tried the Divi theme, I was very surprised that it doesn't require writing a single line of code to create responsive layouts. What I often had to painstakingly create directly in CSS can be done with Divi without even knowing what CSS is, by simply using a slider. There's no more backend where you have to paste shortcodes (and don't you dare forget a bracket!). You work directly on your site in Divi and see your changes immediately. This is a really big advantage compared to before where shortcodes were used or other page builders.Just clicked the wrong button and the layout slipped? Divi has an Undo function that lets you undo your last changes with just one click.Divi comes with a variety of modules. So you can easily add images, sliders, icons, texts, price lists, videos, newsletter forms, galleries, countdowns and much more to your site. Additional plugins are not necessary. This offers the advantage that your site will not be slowed down by a multitude of plugins.

Cons

Updates don't always seem to be tested very well by Elegant Themes - it has happened quite often that after an update some smaller things didn't work anymore. Or the new functions work for simple use cases, but cause problems in detail. The Divi backend (the Divi Builder) still feels very sluggish even after the latest performance improvements to the frontend. Working especially with longer pages often becomes a test of patience even with potent equipped servers ...

Reason for choosing Divi

in 2015 I just was intuitive. I didn't realize how it developed that successful, because easy to work with

### "Divi An Invaluable Tool"

May 12, 2024

5.0

Gaining profits with Divi is the most fantastic experience ever to me.

Pros

As someone with limited coding knowledge, using a website-building platform was a game-changer for me. It offered templates, drag-and-drop tools, and customization options, allowing me to create my own website effortlessly. With this platform, I was able to establish my online presence, showcase my work, and reach a wider audience without the hassle or expense of hiring a professional web developer. It's been an invaluable tool for my business growth."

Cons

It has never had issues with me or since I started using it.

### "Has a lot of quirks but very economical"

April 11, 2022

3.0

Even with the quirks, I still recommend it and like it. It has helped me and my business out tremendously by keeping costs low and the time to build sites low. My customers like it because it makes it easy for them to make little adjustments without me.

Pros

The pricing and licensing are the best. They are coming out with a lot of major updates that are bringing more value to the theme builder. I love the theme builder options of being able to target certain pages for specific templates. It helps speed up the process of building sites so it keeps my rates low for customers. It offers a lot of design options so I can make unique designs quickly.

Cons

I don't like how quirky it is. There are some things that are so glitchy that it has become normal to expect from Divi. The header jumping issues are pretty bad. The header building options are very limited. The text options are unreliable. It will add extra lines and spaces randomly. It is slow to initiate the builder and it is very slow when changing responsive screen sizes. Maybe it is because my computer is a little older. :(

### "Feature rich software with really good support"

December 30, 2021

4.0

My overall experience with Divi is quite good. I own pro licences for a LOT of builders, like Elementor, Brizy, Oxygen, LiveCanvas, Themify, Avada, Zion and Bricks, and also some premium themes like Blocksy Pro and Neve Pro, but Divi is still my favorite. The support is among the best I've ever experienced. I've written an extensive review about Divi on https://www.bobthewebbuilder.com/divi-theme-review/, and a comparison between Divi and other builders on https://www.bobthewebbuilder.com/wordpress-page-builders/.

Pros

Divi offers a lot of styling options and presents them in a user friendly, visual way. It's very actively developed and new features and bug fixes are rolled out very regularly. Divi also offers a lot of features that improve your workflow.

Cons

As with most software, Divi isn't entirely bug free. Also, some popular features are still missing, like a popup / modal builder and a mega menu builder.

### "Making WordPress actually fun to use"

September 17, 2021

5.0

Overall, I have stuck with Divi due to the ease of the drag and drop features and premium feeling of the product. I've used Elementor, WP Bakery, and Buddy Press before, but nothing has been as fluid as Divi. I'm able to easily drag and drop what I need and make dynamic content for viewers to see. My only gripe with it is that it can slow down your site significantly. So if you have a lot of products/content, I would go with Elementor or another program. That being said though when I use Divi I feel that I'm at my most creative level and have more freedom to play around with design and try new things. And if I ever run into any problems, there are always extremely helpful Youtube videos to watch and their own support library too that will help guide you. If you do go with Divi, I do suggest digging around there website for different footer/header layouts as they oftentimes give new designs away for free that match the template library they have perfectly. Saves you lots of time!

Pros

The template library is very nice and they are always adding to it, drag and drop is easy to use, importing layouts is fairly simple. Lots of additional plugins can be imported to make the content even more dynamic and eye-catching! (Divi supreme, Divi Next. etc.)

Cons

It slows down your website a lot, so make sure that you don't have too much content on the site or it will be incredibly slow. When first uploading the theme, also make sure you activate it and put in your API key (always have it handy) to start uploading layouts. You still need to use some "additional css" to make some changes- like changing the color of the hamburger menu.

i've been using and actively encouraging everyone around me to go for DIVI primarily for the ease of WYSIWYG tempalate editor. almost eveyone can fuel their creativity in way they find it fitting.

Cons

actually, its not relevant as elementor is only tempalate editor and DIVI is full-fledged design system with its own designer. elementor is hella powerfull too and lets you create and edit N number of themes.

### "\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] Thrills \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] Rocks It"

June 2, 2021

3.0

If it weren't for \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and R\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. I probably would have given up and moved on to a different site builder. Divi should hire more folks like these two. The rest of the agents I've had have only really seemed interested in telling me to go read a faq. After this is done, and the issue isn't resolved they stall for two hours and log off. Again, thank you \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and R\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] for being different.

Pros

\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] Thrills I think this might start turning into a review of individual folks I work with. Shout out to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. These two agents have been the support folks who seem to go the extra mile. I completely left a conversation frustrated once again after two hours of being put on hold repeatedly without any resolution. (I won't say that agent's name, but a terrible experience, unfortunately). Enter \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] who was in stark contrast to the service rep I had received before. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was not only able to help resolve the issue but teach me a few things that will potentially save me a query in the future. Thanks so much \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]!! Also, thank you \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\].

Cons

Divi's support minus \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is terrible. I can't tell you how many agents I've talked to at this point who stall me for 2 hours and then log-off to hand me off to somebody else. I had a person today tell me he couldn't access my site (40 minutes wasted). The next agent got in no problem. I think Divi really has got to vet folks and see if they are able to really provide solutions in real-time. The problem is, Divi itself isn't very intuitive; there are very easy things that can be missed or overlooked because it is not a conventional website builder. Sure, you can circumvent certain things by using CSS, but if I were amazing at code I'd have no reason to even use a builder in the first place. I get there's volume and I'm not the only person that needs help, but signing off without saying anything and repeatedly sending me to look at FAQs that don't apply to certain issues isn't helpful. I think Divi could benefit from having a builder that doesn't hide everything behind drop-down menus that don't always make a ton of sense. I've gotten better because of the agents who have taken the time to really break things down and empowered me to fix things alongside providing instructions, and even videos that I can go back and reference when I need a refresher (agents like \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]). I think Divi needs to make agents like these two the gold standard.

### "Divi's a Winner in Last Man Standing in Site Designing."

October 19, 2022

5.0

Nothing but the best.

Pros

All features are fine-tuned. With further options to customize I'm sure you cannot miss professionalism on your way to creating a beautiful site. In fact when somebody with a designing disability like me can create a wonderful site assuming you know your content, I'm sure you guys can do better than me.

Cons

Sometimes some sections overlap which does not display the site correctly on mobile or another device. However, this can be corrected when you don't mess up layers too much. Albeit can be corrected with little sweat on your forehead.

Reason for choosing Divi

Ease of use and considering my bad designing abilities, I wanted some designing tools that would veil my deficiencies and; at the same time display the contents that I want in the best possible manner. I found Divi to be more useful. It's a matter of subjective preference. I've enlisted mine. Hope it helps.

### "My Divi review to help you"

June 22, 2022

4.0

My overall experience with Divi is very good and I like it and it's well worth a purchase. The support team is the overall best thing about it.

Pros

It's cost was very fair and the support is second to none, I can't remember when I have ever had online support like they do at Elegant Themes, this for me is the best thing about Divi. Though you can do so much with Divi and I feel after 5+ years using it I'm always still learning and there is always great and new stuff I can do with it every day, but again the technical support people/team are fantastic and I can't say that enough, buy it! - if not only for the support you get.

Cons

I don't like how it's not possible to create popup tool tips or that there is no tooltips module, there is a popup creator which is ok but if you want many popup tooltips on your page then the built in way is not the way to go. I also don't like how the filterable portfolio module can only connect and filter from certain sections of Wordpress, I think it's the projects section, and the Blog module is not filterable, ideally one single module to be able to choose pages, posts, categories etc from any section would be good and also filterable, so i.e. one module to do it all (which I hear from the support team is on the features list) and has been an issue before for others.

### "Divi has it all"

December 22, 2021

5.0

I am satisfied with it. My experience is good. The Divi is stable, and I like it more than Elementor. It's just my opinion. I created many websites and landing pages with Divi, and every time is a unique and beautiful feeling to be a creator. I can make a site very fast because of the library option to save my layouts and modes. I love the import-export option as well.

Pros

It's easy to manage. There are a lot of valuable options. You don't have to be a connoisseur to use the options, but a designer's prior knowledge of the Divi is recommended. The truth is that with Divi Builder, you can easily make a masterpiece. It has a unique design and simplicity that easily achieves harmony and a popular look. Everything is in the service of good design, and if you are not a person who enjoys creating, there are ready-made templates that you can insert into the page with one click. They are easy to edit. So, Divi is a simple, good-looking, handy Theme, Builder and it has it all ready to help you with your work.

Cons

Everything is good when Divi has no strange things between you and your success. If you experience that builder is not equal with frontend look after you exit the builder, you can try some things to fix. You can contact support, but you probably know all the tricks if you have been a user for more than a month. Support won't give you anything you didn't find through Google search. But, you are not alone if you don't mind giving someone access to your site because they will ask for it if you want help, and nothing became helpful before. So, the support is good and, at the same time, maybe not educated enough to help you without admin rights. Divi sometimes has bugs that can be annoying, e.g., you can change the look on mobile, but sometimes Divi changes it also on PC.

### "Great until you want to save your work"

October 5, 2021

3.0

The team that developed this software started with a GREAT concept. About the time they added in the Visual Builder, they should have branched the product, allowing those of us who liked what we had to keep the product as is. After the "upgrade" to include a visual builder, many of us were left with a far less useful theme as we could do all kinds of amazing things - but not able to SAVE our work. I don't think that being able to save an update is setting the bar too high, but at ET, it seems to be a nice add-on, not a necessity based on the experiences I have had over the years (as a charter subscriber to this theme). Those writing the code for this Wordpress Theme are apparently not complying with the Wordpress standards. I have never had to work so much on server settings or trouble shooting with any other theme or plugin as I have had to work on Divi. Don't be fooled by the Divi Marketplace or the Divi Hosting spin-offs that make ET look like they have taken WP to a new level, they're "renegades" who just can't be bothered to comply with the reasonable and stability-focused standards that the Wordpress community has established. After years of trying to hang in there and hope that they would come around - I'm ready to start evaluating other options as Divi just doesn't ever seem like it will work efficiently for my clients' sites.

Pros

The graphical interface for setup of a page, thorough menus for making customizations, and ability to copy or drag-and-drop modules on a page is amazingly convenient!

Cons

On many occasions, I have not been able to save my changes - losing a good deal of time as work I have done is lost. While the company (Elegant Themes) \_claims\_ to have live chat support, it can be HOURS before hearing back on a question. Most recently, I was requested by the support staff to turn off an important part of my server's security software in order to allow the theme to run without errors. NO!

Reason for choosing Divi

It seemed at the time of purchase that I would have a tool that would allow me to develop new sites and update pages more efficiently than with most themes available at the time. Uniform interface across all sites while providing a unique look and individual functionalities were very appealing concepts. The inability to click on "Publish" or "Update" and know that my work would be rendered properly, however, turns all of the theoretical advantages upside down.

### "Divi is the best builder of the bunch, and nearly perfect"

October 20, 2021

5.0

Divi basically makes it possible for me to design Web sites that my clients love, in spite of the fact that I am barely an average designer and barely an average coder, but I am able to leverage what Divi makes possible. I have created well over 20 Divi sites, and am in the middle of two more as I write this.

Pros

Divi is amazingly elegant and fluid when it comes to building sites, I feel it is the closest builder to the way Adobe InDesign functions. If you are a classically-trained designer, you will love Divi because there is great attention paid to typography and using global stying.

Cons

The one thing I have issues with is that the theme sometimes has performance issues on the back end, as it is pretty demanding of resources. Used with standard shared hosting like GoDaddy, you can use caching to make your sites fast on the front end, and Divi has recently added some performance improvements that definitely make a difference, but I have noticed that unless you have a fairly substantial hosting account, the builder is sometimes laggy. I have seen a HUGE difference in performance on the back end when using Cloudways, so I really think most of this is host-related.

Reason for choosing Divi

Really like Oxygen, but it's just not as mature as Divi and does not have anywhere near the installed base of users, which makes it a lot easier to find solutions by Googling. Also, the support is fantastic and availble 24/7, and you can allow Divi support access to your admin backend by toggling a switch, no more creating an admin user and sending passwords to get an assist.

### "DIVI Visual Builder is Setting the Bar for World Class Website Development"

June 25, 2021

5.0

At first, I tore up the support chat and really wished there was a place to call and talk to a human but once I got moving that frustration diminished. I have struggled for many years and spent thousands of dollars off and on to get a quality website that has the potential of ranking well with no real luck. Every tool I used had so much error code created it was horrible. I finally outsourced my website only to spend a lot more for nothing, no ROI. I spent about 2 months developing my new website Using DIVI and the quality of the website is amazing by all standards. When I went live I asked my customers to provide feedback and the feedback has been extremely positive. I am already seeing the best rankings with google that I have seen in over 8 years and the site has only been in live status for about 3 weeks. Divi has helped me finally achieve many milestones i never thought I would achieve.

Pros

What amazes me with Divi is the quality of the product, the quality of the support, and the excellent code with little to no errors. If you find an error, don't worry, the Divi support team steps up and helps you find a solution. The ability to add special CSS code or scripts to tailor your website beyond the vast toolset off in Divi is a real game changer. What is even more impressive is the performance of the page builds in DIVI, all tools used to test my first site score "A". I have not found one thing I want to do that the support staff has not shown me a way to do or pointed me to some script or CSS that will get the job done.

Cons

With the incredible feature-rich environment in Divi, the learning curve for a new person to Worpress and using a visual builder can be steep but that is just the way things are. Divi support has your back to help you along with a ton of videos showing how to do varied tasks.

### "Support is the best ever"

March 25, 2022

5.0

It has been one of the best I've had, I don't know if you know but when you're in trouble it's when your support escapes you, well, the opposite happened here, I've had quite a few problems and the time they spend helping you seems unbelievable, given that the help becomes even inexplicable, I mean that I don't understand how they can help me so much, at least I pay an annual license, but the support doesn't even ask you that because they are not interested, they just want to help you and solve your problem . With this I have already convinced myself to buy the license for life

Pros

The subject of the speed of being able to make a website in a few minutes literally surprised me

Cons

In my case, Spanish-speaking, it is the fact that not everything is translated

Reason for choosing Divi

I had used Elementor and its graphical interface is not very friendly and has many blockages of the paid version, here for very little you have everything, absolutely everything at hand and hundreds of thousands of tutorials to learn how to use it

### "A note from a graphic designer"

December 22, 2022

4.0

I can easily offer design AND implementation with little to no programming / developing knowledge. I learned some CSS tricks and that seems to be more than enough. It is fast and allows my clients to work on their websites by themselves when small changes are needed. That gives me so much more freedom.

Pros

Easy to use for a graphic designer, visual builder is great, maybe sometimes a little bit slow and refreshing during my work. Presets and styles are awesome. I had to spend a little bit of time to really implement it correctly, but once done, it smoothes work immensely. It's great when you have cohesive website layouts and then presets can function as classes. Nice. I love DIVI library and Theme builder - it allows me to do really incredible things with some additional code.

Cons

I would greatly appreciate even more native functions that would allow me to resign from additional plugins. It's always painful for the website's speed. Also, I would love to see a little bit more customization in the menu module. A timer for evergreen products - oh, that would be a good one. And of course... the blog. More blog layouts would be a dream, as I can see that clients are slowly getting tired of social media and want to create content for their websites. Also I'm looking forward to see the possibility of defining one's own breakpoints or even adding more breakpoints to the design. As of now, we have three possible breakpoints, but with a very wide range of screen dimensions it would be nice to have a bigger screen included (1920 px +) and for sure - tablet horizontal view and small screens in general. It is always painful to customize menu, images, fonts to fit this area somewhere between 1200 px and 980 px. I still have some issues when customizing WooCommerce with DIVI. Some things still need to be coded manually.Since I purchased WP rocket, it's easy to speed up DIVI, but it would be great to speed it up just a little more.

### "Design Your Amateur Website Like a Professional"

May 31, 2021

4.0

In the Age of Web 2.0, a website should look like it belongs in the modern era, and Divi, a WordPress theme designed for aesthetics and flexibility, certainly helps your site get there. It takes the robustness of WordPress and merges it with the front page visual design practices of more artistic web design apps like Wix, and ultimately helps even a novice like myself put together a website that can attract the ideal visitor without ever letting the visitor know that I’m a web design idiot who would never get my site looking this way without Divi’s help. In a word, it gives me a chance to compete online without having to pay a web designer thousands to pull off a similar design. For someone who wants the kind of author page that readers might like to visit but doesn’t have the kind of money to create the best that only a professional could design, Divi does a decent job bridging that gap. And because some professionals also use Divi, well, that means with practice, I can make my site even better without spending another cent. Why wouldn’t I want that?

Pros

Because I’m no expert at CSS or HTML, I need a tool that can help me bypass my ignorance while still allowing me to design my web pages the way I want them to look, and Divi’s whole existence is to make that possible. Having a dedicated theme builder that adapts to my needs by allowing me to edit right on the page is both a time saver and sanity saver. Because it integrates with WordPress, it’s also valuable to have a theme that can turn my posts and pages into art, according to whatever theme I’ve established, with just a few tweaks to my page frames. It also helps that it comes with many design options from text layouts to image layouts to all sorts of integrations, not to mention the many plugins designed to enhance Divi’s functionality, and I can’t help but wonder what Divi can’t do for my website (besides creating interesting data tables).

Cons

Although Divi does a lot out of the box, it doesn’t do enough without add-on support from other plugins, so the costs can rack up when you start building your site. Fortunately, this will iron itself out over time, but paying for one-year licenses, lifetime licenses, and unlimited site licenses for several plugins can become an exercise in juggling priorities that may prove exhausting in time. For the cost of a lifetime license, it would be nice if it had a few more native integrations that other plugins have to bring to the table for yet another cost. I also find that it can be slow to save and load pages in design mode, and sometimes that means having to reload a page just to get it to open the first time. I’m sure that’s related to hosting more than anything, but it does speak to the need for good hosting, and their recommended host, Flywheel, isn’t necessarily the cheapest provider on the block. I’ve also discovered a critical bug (that I’ve since passed on to Divi, and they’re addressing it, hence my high score for customer service) that can delete themes from pages during saves if too many are active, which doesn’t help those with lots of pages of variable designs. But again, they’re addressing it, so hopefully this is no longer an issue by the time this review goes live. At any rate, they have the kind of customer support team that keeps asking questions until the problem is clear, so I feel confident that this product will suit the majority of my needs in time.

October 11, 2022

5.0

One of the first themes that came with an easy to use 'front-end' builder. Drag and drop everything is the correct order and you're good to go. Very nice.

Pros

It's easy to use. You can easily make yout own Wordpress websites without any coding skills. It works as you should expect. Thereby you can easily switch between Divi builder and standard Gutenberg Wordpress builder.

Cons

### "Divi - Truly One of the Best Products on the Internet for Web Freelancers and Agencies"

February 14, 2023

5.0

My websites, other than with Shopify, are primarily done with WordPress and Divi. This is literally the best investment that one can make into their web design WordPress-centric business. I have nothing but praise for this product.

Pros

I love the one-time lifetime purchase feature... not only is it reasonably price, but Elegant Themes continues to improve, refine, and enhance their product offering. I am extremely impressed with this company and am a big fan. Their customer service is great. Everything about them is great.

Cons

It's hard to think of any cons, really. I suppose the only con is that there is so much potential untapped power that I haven't even learned about yet. But this is like complaining that a car I just got can go too fast.

Reason for choosing Divi

Divi is, frankly, the best. It's intuitive, powerful, and has allows great control.

### "Divi is the Best"

May 4, 2022

5.0

I honestly couldn't recommend this software, and the team behind it highly enough. I continue to have an amazing journey with the Divi Team and enjoy working on my pages and websites because of them. It has been and I'm sure will continue to be an amazing experience on all fronts because I know it will continue to just get better by the minute. The team is great, the software is great and the whole experience couldn't be better.

Pros

The thing I most like about Divi is its ease of use and ever-growing, progressive learning curve. If I think of where I was when I first started, I knew absolutely nothing about building my own website and it is largely with the support of the fantastic team at Divi plus the great templates they have to progressively learn that I have been able to achieve building one. Now I know that with the Divi team, anything is possible, all it takes is a question and they will do their absolute best to answer it thoroughly plus take on board any improvement suggestions I may have. It truly is software with a fantastic team behind it and built with people at its centre which is what makes me feel so confident in using it.

Cons

oops I think I answered this in some of the earlier slots. The great thing is that the Divi team is always open to listening and adjusting as required. That's a big part of what makes it so great.

Reason for choosing Divi

I chose Divi mainly because of its diversity and the possibilities it offered. I didn't want to have to change at a later stage once I had learned some basics so although I recognized that it would be a learning curve I decided to go through that journey together. I do have to admit it wasn't always easy, to begin with, but that was not the software it was the fact that I was a complete beginner. But as I had imagined, with the help of the Divi team navigating through each little learning curve, over time with their help my confidence has grown together with my website building skills. I know I will always be able to build websites that I love together with the support of the Divi Team; we really have grown together. I have never regretted it, it was one of the best decisions I ever made in my website journey.

### "Definitely recommend they are amazing!"

June 5, 2021

5.0

I think I kinda said that up above already but overall great they are great. The customer service is absolutely amazing and next level. I asked for help on how to make a customer header like the one I showed and then the guy actually made the header for me basically. Then I could just go in there and customize it to my liking but he did the majority of the work. So that was absolutely amazing and made me like speechless and I couldn't believe that. Just like I said above overall great would recommend they are just great. There is just so much would definitely recommend to someone trying to build a website.

Pros

It is just like an all-in-one system and solution since it's a theme builder and all to and just like everything you could kinda need is included I feel. Either in Divi itself or the extra stuff that comes along with it when you buy it. For example, you have access to Extra which is their magazine theme they say where you can make like reviews for things from. They also have Bloom which is their email opt-in plugin. Then they also have Monarch which is their social share and follow plugin. So you have access to all of these amazing things and also all of their premade layouts and you can do unlimited websites and you can pay a one-time unlimited fee. It is just incredible and many more I would definitely recommend them.

Cons

I guess the main thing is it is not easy to use as maybe elementor is. Since elementor I think you can edit the header of your page on your actual page I believe and make it a custom one. With Divi though if you want to create a custom header the way you want to have to go into the theme builder option and create a global header. So basically that is the gripe it does not seem as user-friendly as maybe elementor which allows you to do stuff really easily it seems and you can things around really easily. Divi is still really good and might be the best WordPress theme, builder, and visual page builder out there. Since it also has a one-time lifetime fee and no recurring payments and the extras are amazing and their support team and all is amazing. So still would recommend Divi.

### "Best WordPress theme and page builder to standardize on, and trust, over the long term"

January 26, 2022

5.0

Divi is what makes it possible for me to offer WordPress websites to my clients. I'm a marketer and content creator. Not a developer, not a graphic designer. Divi is easy to use and lets me handle the content, development and design, by myself. I don't need to learn to code CSS and HTML, or hire a developer, because Divi offers plenty of options to build a site and I'm not left wishing for more options or running into limitations that would require custom development. I don't need to buy and learn Adobe design products, or hire a designer, because Divi has incredible flexibility and a huge range of design options for any web page - and for anything my clients request. I don't need to manage developers and designers and their projects most of the time. Yet I still have the flexibility to bring them into projects that require development or design skills beyond what I can do myself.

Pros

I use Divi for my client websites because it's a theme I can stick with over the years and not have to redo the sites later. Elegant Themes' management is solid and the company is well-run. Their product development adds useful features and impressive innovations at a steady clip and doesn't fall behind the market. My clients consistently find it easy to learn how to add or edit a page themselves on their own site in Divi. Divi's tech support is responsive and helpful. Their videos make it easy to learn and adopt new features on the same day they are released (!) so that I don't fall behind. Their market share is growing, the user groups are growing, the marketplace of add-on products is growing, the number of online training resources is growing. Overall, Divi is a solid and proven business choice. And it's fun to use.

Cons

Twice in the last 3-4 years I've encountered super-geeky software conflict issues that have cost many hours of troubleshooting and tech support time, where the source of the problem turned out to be obscure. They don't make it easy to get their advanced support team involved. On one of the issues they declined to speak directly with SiteGround hosting to troubleshoot something together more efficiently, instead leaving me to copy-paste insanely technical info and questions back and forth to the two advanced tech support teams (and SiteGround declined to speak directly to Divi's techs as well...). A better escalation and resolution process for advanced technical issues is needed.

### "Can't live without this."

April 1, 2023

5.0

I've been a customer of elegant themes for a long time, back when they use to have a lot more themes. I was a little skeptical when they first introduced divi and gave it more attention than their other themes. But now I am glad I hung in there. Divi is SO much more than a theme now. It truly is a builder and has saved me so much time, stress and money.

Pros

Ease of use, the form builder, easy deployment and editability of the custom templates.

Cons

Having to learn all of the cool new features but the divi youtube channel and the elegant themes blog help a lot with that.

Reason for choosing Divi

Divi is more all-in-one and comes with the most excellent customer service.

### "Divi provides a super easy and affordable way to build great WordPress websites"

December 1, 2021

5.0

I have been using Divi for nearly 7 years and it has become my go-to tool for building websites. It has paid for itself many times over, as I have used it to build numerous websites for clients. Divi has become a big part of my business. If you want to build websites for a living, Divi is a great place to start. It has a very active and helpful user community, with many Meetup and Facebook groups throughout the world. Highly recommended!

Pros

I have been using the Divi theme since it was introduced in 2015. There was a learning curve at first , but it can be learned quickly. I love that Divi makes it possible to build a website that used to take days into a few hours. Divi provides an easy-to-use interface that web designers can use to quickly build web pages. Divi also offers a low-cost lifetime deal that makes it very affordable compared to other WordPress page builders.

Cons

Divi is not the easiest WordPress page builder to use. It does require some experimenting and learning before it can be mastered. Another issue is Divi uses a lot of javascript, CSS, and HTML files that can make it slow, especially if a lot of animations are used in the design. However, Divi has recently redesigned a lot of the underlying code and has made great progress boosting web page speed.

Reason for choosing Divi

When I started with Divi, it was the only WordPress page builder available, and since then numerous page builders have entered the market, including Elementor and Beaver Builder. I have spent a lot of time using Divi so I know it well. It is a fun to use and plan to continue to use for years to come.

### "Review for ( Divi )."

February 15, 2022

4.0

I consider it the best so far, it has unique tools, easy to use and I highly recommend it from the evaluation history

Pros

Huge community and explanations for everything you may need, a large group of ready-made templates, continuous updating, various creation tools, especially animation tools.

Cons

Divi builder is very slow after working on the same page for more than 15 minutes without updating it, it is not possible to specify the width of columns with numbers as a percentage or pixels

Switched from

[Elementor](https://www.capterra.com/p/169468/Elementor/)

Elementor's free version does not have enough tools and the paid version is a periodic subscription. Divi features a one-time sale to have everything in your hands for life. Divi is faster and lighter on wordpress and you don't need to download many plugins when using it as is the case with Elementor.
