### "Your tool if you are not a professional"

February 6, 2022

4.0

I only use it if the project has already been done in DIVI before. It is true that it is very easy to use, but if you are looking for loading speed and real customization, it is not your tool.

Pros

It is very easy to use. There are hundreds, or thousands, of templates that are sure to fit your business. Easy to use and customize.

Cons

True personalization. You depend a lot on templates. And the loading speed is impossible. It loads a lot of code and makes the WPO of the website very bad. Ok if you are not professional and you don't need your website to stand out in speed and customization.

Alternatives considered

[Elementor](https://www.capterra.com/p/169468/Elementor/)

Reason for choosing Divi

I do not choose DIVI as an alternative. It is a good alternative, but I do not choose it as a first option. Its loading speed prevents me from doing so.

### "Invaluable support and troubleshooting assistance"

August 11, 2021

5.0

Divi helps a person like me in learning and working. I am involved in web design and the construction of online stores. I usually add products and list. I invested in Divi to put my online service store. Now I build other sites and shops with Divi.

Pros

Thank you very much to the whole team and all Divi maniacals for their support in solving WordPress problems. In particular, thank you very much for 72 hours of joint fight against language problems on the site. Thank you for any suggestions and ideas. The choice of your software was a hit... Not only because it's intuitive, not only because it's innovative, but above all, it has amazing support!

Cons

I have no objections. It's the best software on the market and it's being improved all the time.

Reason for choosing Divi

I have long thought about which software will be best for learning and implementation. I chose Divi because of the one-time fee. Then I was convinced by the product itself, followed by excellent technical support.

I was tempted by the price. Then I met more positive reviews, especially the lack of negative ones. Then came the question of simplicity in operation. I also like YouTube ads so I can learn more about the features of this software. Above all, I am convinced by the technical support. In addition, there is also an interesting market for plugins and add-ons. All this makes this software - a perfect product.

### "Elegant Themes: Divi"

August 22, 2023

5.0

Our workflow has definitely improved since employing the Divi theme. All our users are now on the same Elegant Themed layouts which has and is proving to be very positive. Support teams we must also state are ecelelnt and always respond very quickly, if not instantly in our experience. To be perfectly honest, moving onto Divi was the best decision we have made, won't be moving away from the theme or company.

Pros

Ease of use, flexibility, json feature, variety of relevant plugins, value for money, and the support is second to none in our experiences with the teams, first class and the Divi builder is very user friendly and have to say as an aside... visually pleasing!

Cons

Elegant Themes are constantly improving it's services and products, which is much appreciated in order to improve and keep up with - if not ahead of technical developments and trends - which is important.

Reason for choosing Divi

Divi is so much more versatile as a product, and lends itself extermely well to new, and therefore can be fairly inexperienced staff, or indeed, to the more advanced users and coders.

### "Still the Best Website Theme"

October 20, 2022

5.0

I have been using Divi for over 8 years and watched it develop from excellent to amazing. There is now a huge 3rd party support community that provides even more functionality and features to Divi's constantly growing set. Elegant Themes, the maker of Divi, is super fast with updates and added features. They also listen to the community of users and implement the most needed changes as a quick pace. Lastly, Divi is a fantastic value. I purchased the lifetime subscription years ago and the delivery just keeps growing.

Pros

Ultimately, my favorite aspect of Divi is that is easily allows me to make really beautiful websites that will also perform well in SEO.

Cons

The biggest problems I have had with Divi weren't from Divi, but from plugins that interfere with the Front End Builder - usually privacy related. But even then- Divi had a fix for it.

### "DIVI : The right tools, at the right time"

June 17, 2021

5.0

I had DIVI purchased before I was hired at the company because they announced that we would be climbing a mountain of activity. Today, I can confirm that DIVI is the ideal tool you need to carry inside your digital backpack if you're going to take on your next Web adventure. Yes many things, it doesn't do them, there is no ready-made food, but I can confirm that there is a worldwide technical support staff that is ready to support you at any time of the day or night! If you have to go on an adventure, start with DIVI then by virtue of any other needs you will make your assessments. If you are a Lazy. If you're not a programmer and you're lazy, don't buy this product because it's like a beautiful woman: "You have to get to know her and make sure she'll follow you on your adventures." DIVI is the tool that will allow the world to see how good you are at dealing with Web technology. before deciding to buy or not DIVI, ask yourself how you want the World Wide Web to see you.

Pros

It scared me at first. I am not a programmer and so I had serious difficulty figuring out which end of the DIVI ball was up. Thanks to video tutorials and posts from DIVI itself, I was able to untangle Sections, Menus, Modules and lines of code. The thing that I have particularly appreciated is the quality of the World Team that is present at any time of day or night.

Cons

Guys, I won't hide the fact that you should simplify the parameters section. No matter how much goodwill one puts into it, sometimes the configuration menus are only understood by the person who made it. I know the programmers well. They don't see beyond their noses. But if someone comes from outside and tells them that beyond their nose there are millions of customers who can't work with that little gem of his, then the intelligent programmer questions himself and changes the dress of his creature So my dear programmers, make the configuration panels so simple that even a child can understand them.

Reason for choosing Divi

In these years of use I have discovered that basic functions in DIVI had not been contemplated, and even the support staff found it difficult to fulfill these requests many times because the platform did not provide what I was asking for. Other solutions instead presented that functionality. For my future projects, I think I'm not going to start with DIVI, but with ELEMENTOR, because I don't want to spend weeks interacting with DIVI's support staff in order to patch basic functions that should be native in DIVI. Although I write this, I do not mean to say that DIVI is not a good product. Every product may be good for one project and not for another. You just have to recognize it and adjust accordingly

### "DIVI Builder by Elegant Themes is a Powerful Web Development Tool"

April 7, 2021

4.0

I really love and am very dedicated to using Divi Theme and other Elegant Themes products. I have invested a lot of money in child themes, layouts, plugins, etc that are supported and make it a very complete product. My primary concern again is speed. This is a growing concern that I hope they address as Google SEO becomes more reliant on site speed.

Pros

I would describe my primary skills as a creative designer first, web developer second. I have found that Divi Theme and Divi Builder have been the easiest to implement with some of the best developer features on the market. Their pricing is extremely affordable for what you are investing and the 3rd party support for the product is pretty amazing. They also have tons of thorough how-to videos and support documentation so you can usually figure out how to do what you need to.

Cons

Speed, speed, speed. Divi definitely does not offer a fast loading site unless you have perfect hosting conditions and have studied site speed optimization using trial and error to figure out what works best. There are also some features missing that I commonly need on website builds but I have to implore a 3rd party plugin or special CSS code to implement. So when Elegant themes is working on fancy bells and whistles that typically slow the builder down, it's frustrating that some more commonly used tools require special workarounds.

### "Elegant Theme's DIVI (Extra Theme) is full featured, easy to use, priced well, and is well supported"

September 15, 2023

5.0

Truly fantastic to the point where I wrote management at Elegant Themes to thank them for how they structure support, and how it's allows me to quickly put together a site that meets my organizational needs.

Pros

The WordPress DIVI (Extra) theme allows me to take advantage of WordPress's innate ability to display categorized content in a much more sophisticated manner - like any major newspaper we read online. I find DIVI (Extra) relatively easy to use, but what really makes the difference is their excellent customer support. Staff at Elegant Themes are super helpful and enabled me to get a solid website up and running far quicker than I could have done by myself. There is a huge psychological benefit for me to know that I can reach out to DIVI staff when I need to and get a response in a timely manner. Sometimes it's a matter of minutes. Very occasionally (when they're really busy) I get an email a few hours later. It does not matter, however. in that they always are able to provide a solution that keeps me moving forward at goodhumanhabitat.org.

Cons

DIVI is so feature rich and has everything I need. There's really nothing that jumps out at me regarding things I like least. In a few cases, I'm surprised I need custom CSS to solve a problem, but it's no big deal because there is always knowledgeable staff available to help.

Alternatives considered

[Elementor](https://www.capterra.com/p/169468/Elementor/)

Reason for choosing Divi

I initially chose DIVI - or more specifically the "Extra" WordPress theme because it provides me with precisely the functionality that I needed to create a newspaper website that allows me to display categorized content in a myriad of pretty sophisticated ways. In the end my choices were between Elementor and DIVI. Two things really made the decision easy. The first is that DIVI offers a lifetime license. The second thing is that DIVI is reputed to have far better customer service. When I made an inquiry with DIVI, I got a real person on the chat, and got all my questions answered. When I went to the Elementor site, I got a chatbot that did not quickly provide me with the information I needed. That immediately made my decision easier.

[Squarespace](https://www.capterra.com/p/143461/Squarespace/)

I moved from Squarespace to the WordPress DIVI (Extra) theme so that I could take advantage of WordPress's innate ability to display categorized content in a much more sophisticated manner - like any major newspaper we read online.

### "Always There!"

January 16, 2022

5.0

I love that Divi is constantly updating and growing. I've been using Divi since 2016 and they have managed to not only make it work the same but do so much more. The level of options in fine tuning designs now over what was available then is mind-blowing to me. They just don't stop adding to it. And their support is always there.

Pros

Most theme builders I've used are bulky, boxy. Divi, let's you build on the front end allowing you to see the changes in real time. It's just a very smooth process. You can use the Divi Theme to create just about anything you want without the need for other plugins. It doesn't completely eliminate the need for them. But, unless you're building a store. You can build a very elaborate site using only the builder.

Cons

It's really hard to name any cons that aren't nitpicking. I guess the main thing is in their theme templates. There are plenty to use. I often load a template as starting point and then just customize it from there. However, I would love to some over the top templates with more motion. Divi is capable of so much and it would be great to some templates design that have more of a 'wow' factor. The have created templates for almost any business model from profession to quirky. But I feel they need more quirky fun and 'wow' type themes. That being said, Divi is so popular you can find third party templates and plugins that are just as top notch.

Alternatives considered

[Elementor](https://www.capterra.com/p/169468/Elementor/)

Reason for choosing Divi

I chose DIvi because it just worked the best with the way I like to build. And, their support has grown. I've had all kinds of issues over the years. Most of them have been due to my lack knowledge on some things. I can leave a chat message with support and someone will get back to me usually with in a few hours. Sometimes it's the next day. 90% of the time it's something I've overlooked and the issue has been resolved quickly. There's just this feeling of knowing that if I can't figure it out, I can ask them and they are always there to help me. It's like having a design specialists at your fingertips. Because having a second pair eyes is so important. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention the community. So many helpful people, plugin developers and more. There just so much help out there. You're never alone.

### "A slow, bumpy road with a dead end"

October 5, 2022

1.0

I manage multiple sites and train managers to use them on a regular basis. Divi is consistently requires the most training and administrative support. Divi consistently takes longer to do simple edits and results in more errors per edit than any other theme we use. Divi requires a lot of server resources and bandwidth for simple actions, making it slow for admins and punishing mobile end users who may have limited bandwidth/poor connections. A faster server will only help so much - you can't spend your way out of this.

Pros

1 - The system uses a layout system/library to allow for shared layout elements - such as headers/footers. Allows for custom elements on each page. 2 - Divi provides a WYSIWYG editor.

Cons

1 - Divi was built before WordPress used blocks and was intended to solve some of the sames issues and is incompatible. WordPress blocks are far easier to use and understand. 2 - The WSYWG editor is confusing and SLOW. Save does not always mean save, restore features lie and don't work. 3 - Divi uses separate content for mobile and desktop. A single edit must be made in multiple places. 4 - The layout system/library is hard to use and probably could have been addressed more easily using widgets or other tools provided and supported by the WordPress core. At least you don't have to touch it much. 5 - Divi does not respect boundaries between content and format. It inserts a huge amount of formatting cruft into the content which makes it slow for users. And expensive to impossible to change themes or platforms without starting from scratch. If you expect your project to have a long life, this carries significant future costs/limitations. Divi tries to do things its own way. This means that the user skills learned are not transferable and site content itself is not transferable, and that prior knowledge can't be applied. I wonder if Elegant Themes really wanted to build their own CMS from ground up without WordPress - it has always felt to me like they were trying to write a new CMS on top of another, adding new sins to old, adding redundant layers of processing and administration.

Reason for choosing Divi

The marketing firm did not have a web developer at the time they accepted the design contract. The developer they hired (after the contract was already late) did not have much experience.

### "Divi makes my life as a freelance website designer/developer so much easier"

August 16, 2022

5.0

I really enjoy working with Divi. The theme builder helped me create custom site templates for three non-profits. I was new to WordPress and a developer friend suggested it and I'm glad he did. I still have much to learn but I am very pleased with it. I'm actually considering building websites for paying clients. Up until now I have been doing the work as a volunteer.

Pros

I like the Divi Theme Builder the most. It allows me to create targeted themes for people and businesses looking to have a presence on the internet. I am a novice when it comes to development but know enough about html and CSS that I can make modifications when necessary. The documentation is good and the support agents have always helped me when I hit a snag.

Cons

I would love to see a reference that identifies all the CSS classes and ids. There may be one already but I haven't found it yet.

### "Divi: A heavy lifting done for you theme"

March 8, 2023

4.0

Aside from the not so good aspects, Divi theme is an absolute heavy lifter for me as a designer with not enough developer experience. Divi works and when it seems like it doesn't, Divi tech support staff is always there for me ready not only to answer my inquires, but also roll up their sleeves and go inside my website fixing stuff I have no idea how to fix. Their support team is absolutely amazing and I always had a wonderful experience chatting with them. It's a soul relief to know someone "up there" is with you the whole time when you need help. Thank you Divi.

Pros

The multitude of modules and customization options and the fact that you can assign classes and IDs to target them with CSS styling in the custom CSS.

Cons

I wish the Sliders had more customization options and features such as built in possibility to integrate other modules inside each slide, without the need for third party plugins or coding. Other than that, I'm sure Divi will add more animations to both page scrolling and modules reveal.

### "The go-to software for WordPress websites"

March 15, 2022

5.0

Great! We've been using it for about 3-4 years and watched it get better and better with the updates and upgrades over time, I recommend it for any level of web developer, from very basic personal blogs to large corporate websites with lots of data.

Pros

It's the N1 WordPress theme, a real necessity for whoever wants to have a fully functioning and sleek looking website. Building any kind of feature is pretty easy, and there's a extremely vast network of forums and support in case you need to learn things or need support.

Cons

While designing, sometimes it may get buggy on slower computers, smaller screens, slower internet connections or if the browser window stays open for too long.

### "Fantastic Theme, you wont be disappointed "

September 30, 2021

5.0

I decided to find another place to 5 star this excellent company. You can tell the team here has a true passion for making designers and developers alike a lot easier in this very complex world/industry. From their support staff to the nuts and bolts, this theme has real power.

Pros

I have been using this product for over 4 years and I must say.. it has been a minute since i have been disappointed with a feature release. As in I cant recall when I was sad about it. Excellent support, feature rich, and cuts down the average website build from months to weeks... sometimes days (depending on how basic requirements are needed)

Cons

It used to be clunky and slow, but with the proper understanding of image sizing and extra TLC i really have nothing bad to say

October 11, 2023

The ease of using Divi has given me the opportunity to design and build some very creative websites for my coaching and book writing business without having to pay for professional techie people that I currently cannot afford.

Pros

Very hard question as everything about Divi is FANTASTIC. Maybe the ability to build visually on the front end is what has made it like magic to me.

Cons

A couple of very MINOR things. From memory not being able to bold etc text on success message. But maybe that's because I haven't asked support about it.

### "Best website builder and superb Support"

June 6, 2022

5.0

I started building websites in 2020. At first, I tried custom themes, but they were very expensive (you need to hire a developer, and you depend on him for the whole project). Then, I used 2 other famous builders to try different options. I've migrated all these websites to Divi or I'm in the process of migrating them to Divi. I have large multinational websites built with Divi, and large e-commerce stores too. For more complex websites you'll need to buy some extras from the Marketplace (which is great, and it really has everything you need for big projects) or to hire a developer, but the underlying technology under everything is Divi for sure. For personal blogs, travel blogs, or small e-commerce websites, the basic subscription is more than enough. And the Support team, what can I say? They are amazing. I have only words of appreciation for them. This review is just a way to recognize their help and effort.

Pros

I love the ability to save a page, section, or layout, export it and use it all over the website, or export it to other websites and save A LOT of time. The builder is extremely intuitive, and there are a lot of online videos that help you in every situation. I just can't be more thankful to Divi, they are the core of my business.

Cons

Mega menus are very difficult to achieve in Divi.

### "Excellent website builder, powerful but easy too"

June 4, 2022

4.0

All in all I’m very happy with this theme. I’ve been able to overcome almost every obstacle and issue or to find an acceptable alternative since it’s very flexible and the span of your creativity is the biggest limitation :)

Pros

Divi has a real lot of pro’s: it’s powerful, feature packed, has a great library of ready made templates with import / export capabilities, has a great customer service (YMMV but 9/10 has been helpful if not super helpful). Even a novice can get the basic stuff done easily in no time, but on the other hand an expert can benefit of very deep customisation features, ability to add custom code and many other advanced features. The best part is that, being widely used, on the web you can find myriads of tutorials, helpful websites, templates to download, forums and the like. This is of great help for the less experienced users since you can seek or ask for help and be reasonably sure to find an answer since the theme is so widely used.

Cons

Divi is very powerful and feature packed, and that might negatively affect builder and website speed on cheap/ low tier hostings. With a reputable one, however, you can tune your website to be very performant (using third party plugins and custom coding you can easily reach 90-100 in pagespeed scores). Deep under the hood customisation might be difficult sometimes since it’s very large and convoluted

Reason for choosing Divi

Since it’s so commonly utilised, there are a real lot of useful and helpful resources online, as well as templates, tips and tricks and such.

### "Probably the best wordpress theme in the world"

April 29, 2020

5.0

It was hard in the beginning for me to learn, but not for the reason you would think so. I was so used to do design in more rigid themes that took extra effort that my brain was finding it hard to actually accept that doing things here was THAT easy. In the end I loved the usage so much that I bought the lifetime license and I use this theme in all my websites. Also the native features of the theme allowed me to eliminate about 10 plugins from my site and making it faster.

Pros

It is really hard to choose, because there are so many great features, but obviously the ability to actually see how your design is going to look like in real time and be able to switch to phone, tablet and desktop is a huge time saver and such a great help for UI/UX.

Cons

This is probably a nitpick, but I think in the Divi General Options, you should add a "Social Media" Tab, and put here a list of ALL the social networks available to people, the current options are too limited and outdated (Google+ is still an option even though that social network doesn't exists anymore). This is a feature easily found in all other themes. One great example you can take for this feature is found in the "X Theme", and while I was able to add all my social media icons to my site, I doubt most people will be thrilled to touch the code files inside the theme folder. Again, even if you know how to do it, it's a bit frustrating to go to the code files for every change you want to make when you know other themes allow you to do this pretty easily. But to be fair, compared to all the benefits from Divi, this is a minor issue.

### "Divi and it's support is excellent and has been for years"

October 26, 2021

4.0

Excellent overall. I've used Divi for years in a great variety of projects.

Pros

Integration with Woocommerce, ease of use both for my design needs and for allowing non-designer clients to understand and use Divi, attention to detail and generally a solid experience while also avoiding too many offerings and bloat. Support is essential too. I rarely have problems with Divi, but, when I have, support has been mostly fast and definitely above and beyond expected level of resourcefulness and help.

Cons

Divi is not very lean and tends toward slow loading both front and back end, though it's not terrible most of the time. Even after Divi's recent update to only load scripts and other code as needed, it wasn't noticeably faster. Some features in Divi are too basic. Example are sliders and galleries. Their adequate at best and have few features to offer flexibility. The worst part is the proprietary nature of the builder. When clients no longer want to use Divi, it's a long-haul manual affair to extract content from Divi and into another theme (though I have no clue how that can be streamlined).

### "The Best Theme for WordPress Websites"

September 8, 2022

5.0

Working 2+ years with Divi themes and new features and updates are really good. I highly recommended website developer to use Divi Theme.

Pros

Almost nocoding required for creating extra ordinary and beautiful web pages. Divi is more than a theme and help any website developer to create website in very less time.

Cons

Yes Divi is my first choice for creating websites, the only thing which I wish to be added in this theme pack is a plugin to make a mobile apps using Divi theme. Hope soon this will consider the theme developer to able to make a Android / IOS app using divi theme pack.

Reason for choosing Divi

The flexibility for creating web designing, simple to use and save lot of time to create websites for clients.

### "A builder and everything you need to get started"

December 3, 2022

5.0

I have been a satisfied customer since the beginning and will always return to anything from DIVI. The web design and also the sale to customers has become a lot easier through DIVI.Adaptations are quickly implemented and so far every customer has understood it and can implement their own things.

Pros

You play it on the server and it happens without any problems, that is for me. The requirements are built so that any reasonable hoster can run Divi. The usage is simple and self-explanatory and there is a lot of help in blogs and videos. The support takes care of you, it helps quickly and competently. Any time and always with kind words.I trust the support admin rights on my websites and server. There is not a second where I hesitate.

Cons

If something doesn't work, 99% of the time it's due to other plugins throwing up errors. I have never had a situation where I regretted using DIVI.

Reason for choosing Divi

All the products I have tried before have not offered me the total package

### "My choice since version 1.0"

December 16, 2021

5.0

I have built more than one hundred sites with Divi and, considering what I paid for Divi - lifetime license - the return on investment is beyond fantastic.

Pros

The pros with the Divi's annual membership in Elegant Themes, is that it is possible to build as much sites as desired. I guess there is no other theme or builder to offer this.

Cons

Divi doesn't have that I can tell as cons, but it would be nice if Divi had more and better WooCommerce modules.

Reason for choosing Divi

I like Divi Visual Builder more than Elementor and more than that, because Elementor is more expensive than Divi.

### "Dedicated Divi User"

February 3, 2023

5.0

My agency develops all of our websites using Divi and has for ver 6 years. We are dedicated Divi users.

Pros

I've been using Divi for well over 6 years and am unlikely to change. I find it so easy to use, n fact one of our websites was awarded in the 'best' category. I have to especially praise the support, in my entire time as an Elegant Themes customer the support has been outstanding.

Cons

Speed could be faster but I believe Divi gets a bad rap in this area. It hasn't affected any of my websites, they all rank very well.

### "7 Years of Beautiful Journey with Divi"

August 29, 2021

5.0

7 Years of Lovely Journey with Divi.

Pros

I am Not a Coder and was not sure what Page Builders to use. Google Search led me to Divi and I looked at YouTube Videos of Divi and thought of using it. Initially I was not a Licensed Buyer, but once i got a knack of it, i felt I need to invest on this and went ahead. The Only challene sometime I face is this. When I am using a Divi Row and any Module within that row. Sometimes the settings of the rows and the Module overlap with each other which is annoying. So If I am trying to reach for a Row setting I hit a column and vice versa. Divi Please fix this one small issue.

Cons

Mentioned above. One small minor issue, but I am hoping that Divi will fix it.

Reason for choosing Divi

1\. Lifetime Deal sounded a great Opportunity 2. Community of Experts who can help me. 3. Support Turnover time is Phenomenal (You guys dont sleep or what?) I always get it within an hour or two and sometimes much faster than that too. 4. Templates and Plethora of Integrations 5. WooCommerce Support and the list goes on. It will be way too big in my compilation.
