Registros muy útiles y con una gran facilidad de usarlas.. Pros \- Herramienta de rápida y fácil implementación.- A diferencia de otras soluciones SIEM, este producto tiene una interfaz grafica agradable y sencilla de operar.- Tiene un buscador muy potente y útil con gran facilidad de encontrar datos, cosa que no he visto en otros productos de la misma finalidad.- Los informes con eventos correlativos que presenta son muy eficientes.- A partir de que la compañía pasó a manos de Trellix, el producto pasó a llamarse Trellix ESM que es una suite de varios módulos y se agregaron muchas mejoras como por ejemplo tener instancias en la nube del servicio SIEM. Cons \- El soporte de la marca tiene muchas oportunidades de mejora en resoluciones y tiempos de respuesta.- El costo del producto es superior a otros que cumplen la misma función, pero compensa el precio con todas las funcionalidades y la facilidad que ofrece. Pros I think Security information and event management is very much neccesiry for every company. McAfee has been around for many years, they have good name and good software as a security tool they do a good job, they have nice interface. Cons I think they have to offer much more options, we moved from splunk to McAfee but we had to go back to splunk. Once you configured it properly it will provide a complete view of an organization's major security activities. The prebuilt use cases and dashboards will cover most of the major security monitoring requirements for an organization. Pros When integrated with detection and prevention-based security solutions, McAfee ESM allows for a comprehensive in-depth defense strategy. Mcafee ESM allows identifying, investigating, and managing reactions to events from a single interface, and comes up with tools they need to address incidents and take quick, focused, and confident action. It can reduce the time from identification to protection which will help organizations to save their valuable time on the detection phase, giving an opportunity to stop threats before they become full-scale breaches. Mcafee is also now in the cloud and provides a hosted version of ESM. Cons Compared to other SIEM vendors Mcafee is quite lagging on Machine Learning powered User Behavior Analytics, and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) feature. It is better if Mcafee can enhance its integration for SaaS solutions, also the capability to report customizations and simplify the correlation rule creation process.
