I've used GetScreen.me a LOT to assist family and friends configure things or fix things on their computers or run updates for them -- including most recently to fix a problem my wife was having with her laptop camera while travelling (which stopped working after a Windows update, surprise, surprise). The "permanent remote access" function has allowed me to access documents on my main computer when I'm out and about on my tablet. Pros Straightforward to set up from my end and easy for the other party (who needs assistance) to allow the remote connection. Lots of helpful options when remote accessing. Intuitive and nice-looking layout of the various functions. Can choose to hear the other computer's audio or not. Permanent remote access allows me to connect all 4 of my computers and devices no matter where I am. Support responds quickly to questions -- and without "canned" answers. Online instructions and guidelines are well-written and easy to follow. Cons So far, in the few months I've been using GetScreen.me I really haven't found anything I didn't like. It provides more value for the money than the 'well known' competitors. Pros This is a full featured remote desktop application. It supports permanent links, Windows/Mac/Android/IOS. No client needs to be installed as it can work completely through browser plugins. You can easily record your activities and take screenshots through the app. I find it has more features and is easier to use than a lot of the competitors - and the price is much more attractive. Cons The android app development is a little slow - but still useable. October 1, 2021 5.0 I was skeptical about this product when I saw it but thought why not give it a go, they have a few features that appealed to me that I hadnt seen before: 1) Browser based - No having to download any software. 2) Telegram integration - Issuing quick support reguests takes about 10 seconds and I can join from the Telegram app. 3) Branding - Ill admit I haven't looked very far regarding this feature but I really like it, I'll be completely sold when they introduce CNAME capabilities. 4) Beautiful interface - I can't help it but I always judge a book by its cover, I was very pleased to see the awesome UX/UI this service offers. 5) Teams - It is unbelievably easy to add new team members to this system, click, type done! 6) Recording - This is the best system I have tested regarding this feature, it just works! Click the button, there is no lag when starting a recording and you can access the recording via the History section and delete them just as easy. 7) Embed option - I really like the embed option so I can place the join module on my website. If you are unsure they offer a 15 day refund policy so what have you got to lose in testing this awesome service!
