ClassMarker was very helpful and we were able to transition easily to a virtual placement test with little disruption. Pros ClassMarker was the best suited to transitioning our Reading Placement Test from in person to virtual during the pandemic. It allowed students to continue placement testing without missing time when the physical campus was closed. Cons I thought the windows for the the paragraphs and question a little too long. I felt the students lost interest when seeing the length of each window. I like it specifically because it allows me to grade the students really well and it has a wide range of features that help me create better, more rich assignments. Pros We had a challenge with being in the Corona Virus pandemic in that we could not bring our associates into traditional classrooms to deliver their onboarding training and assessments. They could not login to the LMS to access their courses as they did not have company approved PC's. We used Adobe Connect to play the CBT's to them and if required, they were then sent an email with a link to a ClassMarker quiz. If they did not pass, they were redirected to try again. If they passed, they were directed to another Yes/No quiz that simply asked them to acknowledge that they understood and had received the training. Results were then sent to a central email location so that their records could be updated. ClassMarker was easy to use and cost effective in enabling us to onboard multiple employees across five states simultaneously and still maintain the social distancing required. Cons I would have loved to be able to link one quiz into another without having to log in again. We are currently looking at whether we can take user details and hook them between quizzes.
