The ETL toolset is powerful, as is the wide breadth of options for connectors, because we're pulling in data from a variety of sources and need to transform it all in ways my team can't do ourselves for time & experience reasons. Previously, I was manually entering the actual data into Excel sheets before connecting them to Power BI, but this took a lot of time and was prone to errors and typos. During my research, I found Coupler.io, and I really liked how easy it was to connect to QuickBooks, as well as the speed at which it refreshed data. For example, if I enter a transaction into QuickBooks, it appears on my dashboard within minutes. The UI is also easy to use. I had a few queries regarding certain data formats, and the customer service was very good. I was able to book a call within a day of requesting one with \[sensitive content hidden\], who was really helpful and resolved my issue. From a pricing perspective, considering that the process is now almost completely error free and frees up my time to focus on more important tasks, I think it is definitely worth it. I estimate it will save me around 4 hours per month and allow me to be more productive. Pros It's easy to use. I was able to connect it to Power BI within a few minutes. The refresh happens very quickly. The customer service is really good, I had an issue and was able to book a call with \[sensitive content hidden\] within 24hr. and she helped me solve the issue It saves me around 4 hours every month, and I don't need to stress about the data being accurate. Cons The only issue is that there are certain P&L formats I would like to have. I can get the P&L by class from QuickBooks, but that report does not show the profit for each individual class, only the total profit. However, I found a workaround that allows me to have both.
