We liked that it has built in dashboard templates on Looker Studio and so in some ways is plug and play, but also lots of flexibility as you own these Looker Studio templates and can set them up as you see fit. Thus Coupler immediately covers some of our basic needs, but gives us the flexibility to further automate more aspects of our data collection. We're for example looking forwards to experimenting with its AI functionality once it is ready. I appreciate that Coupler is compatible with both Google Sheets and Excel, so I can set it up in our existing destinations and will be able to move a lot of our reporting into Excel later on. Scheduling: I like that we can schedule importers to run at various intervals, so I don't have to worry about manually refreshing reports, and my team can expect the data to be recent and accurate. Cons It would be helpful if there was a way to set up a data flow with multiple sources going to the same destination but multiple, separate sheets. Perhaps this is possible, I but I have not figured out how. It would just eliminate the need to configure so many separate data flows/importers for a single destination file. Cons It can really get pricey when adding multiple data connections, for example a Youtube channel needs 6 data connections each, so if you want to blend data from 10 Youtube channels it gets really expensive. Cons The only negative aspect, that has nothing to do with Coupler, are the API limits that some data sources have. This is not Coupler's fault at all and is solely on the data sources that implement the limitations. You would think that advertisers spending money on these platforms would be able to bypass these API limitations. Reporting has become far easier and more efficient Pros Coupler makes reporting so much easier than we ever thought possible. A direct integration with Airtable has made building out reporting easier and far more efficient. We used to export things to a google sheet and report from that, but it was clunky, updates were often missed. Coupler solved that by allowing us to directly report from Airtable. Cons Service has been excellent and we don't have any complaints, Coupler meets all of our needs and then some!
