Switched from

[Libero](https://www.capterra.com/p/147038/LIBERO/)

Ha sostituito l'utilizzo delle vecchie webmail tradizionali (come Libero, Hotmail) e dei client di posta desktop tradizionali (come Microsoft Outlook o Mozilla per la posta personale).

Gmail is a reliable choice for professional email, dependable every day and easy to recommend.

Pros

Gmail is one of the tools I use without even thinking because it has become such a natural part of my routine. The synchronization with Calendar, Contacts, and Google Drive saves me valuable time every day, and the spam filter is very effective.

Cons

I have used Gmail in my personal life as well as for two non-profits that I volunteer with and it has always been a positive experience.

Pros

Gmail makes it easy for the non-profit youth baseball club that I volunteer with to communicate with players and their families. It allows us to use a personalized signature with our logo, which makes our emails look professional. It also allows us to schedule emails to go out at a later date.

Cons

I think we’re getting close to our storage capacity in Gmail/Google so we may need to start paying for additional storage at some point.

Overally I highly recommend Gmail as a one stop for all platform. I am able to connect my email server from my employer and side business along with my personal email. I love not having to remember several passwords as only one password is needed to access all google accounts.

Pros

Easier to navigate through settings than competitor. Layout for mail storage is more simple. Ability to customize windows for better visuals.

Cons

At this time I cannot think of any negative feedback with using Gmail to send and receive electronic mail.

Overall, my experience with Gmail has been very positive. I use it for both personal and professional communication, and I find it reliable, easy to navigate, and accessible across devices. Features like powerful search, spam filtering, labels, filters, and integration with Google Drive, Calendar, and Meet help me stay organized and productive. Overall, Gmail has been an efficient and dependable email platform for managing day-to-day communication.

Pros

What I like most about Gmail is its ease of use and reliability. The search functionality makes it easy to find emails quickly, and features like labels, filters, and conversation view help keep my inbox organized. I also like how well it integrates with other Google Workspace tools like Google Drive, Calendar, and Meet, making it convenient to manage communication and collaborate in one place. Overall, it's a dependable email platform that's easy to access from both desktop and mobile devices.

Cons

One thing I like least about Gmail is that the inbox can become cluttered if filters and labels aren't set up properly. With a high volume of emails, it can sometimes be challenging to keep everything organized. However, Gmail offers useful tools like filters, labels, and categories that make managing email much easier once they're configured.

Pros

As an entrepreneur, my inbox is my primary working tool. Gmail excels at handling large volumes of emails thanks to the power of its internal search engine. Locating a specific message containing precise criteria from months ago takes a fraction of a second. Automatically applying filters and tabs allows me to separate urgent strategic monitoring alerts from internal communication flows. Third-party extensions available on the workspace significantly enrich my daily efficiency.

Cons

the allocated cloud space fills up rapidly if the company also uses it to store large backups. the default integration of features like Google Chat within the same window can sometimes hinder concentration.

My overall experience with Gmail is that it is an incredibly powerful, reliable, and deeply integrated tool, but one that requires a bit of active management to keep from feeling overwhelming. On the positive side, it is the ultimate "set it and forget it" email client. The search functionality is unmatched—you never really have to worry about meticulously organizing folders because a quick search query will find exactly what you need in seconds. The spam filtering is incredibly robust, and the way it connects seamlessly with Google Drive, Calendar, and Meet makes it an excellent hub for managing productivity, schoolwork, and daily life. However, it isn't perfect. The desktop interface can easily become cluttered and noisy with all the sidebars and features competing for space. The automatic tab filtering, while helpful, occasionally buries important emails where you least expect them. Plus, because the 15 GB of free storage is shared across your entire Google account—including Photos and Drive—it can fill up surprisingly fast if you handle a lot of large files. Ultimately, it’s a powerhouse of convenience and efficiency, as long as you're comfortable with the Google ecosystem and take a little time to customize the layout to fit your workflow.

Pros

The Unmatched Search Bar: I don't have time to sort through messy folders. If I need a receipt, a thread from three years ago, or a specific document, I can just type a couple of keywords and Google finds it instantly. It's essentially a search engine for my entire life. Insane Spam Filters: I rarely, if ever, see junk in my primary inbox. Gmail's ability to catch phishing scams, malicious links, and annoying marketing spam before it even hits my screen is miles ahead of any other platform. The Ecosystem Integration: Everything just works together. I can jump from an email straight into a Google Meet call, save massive files directly to Google Drive without clogging my local storage, and have calendar invites automatically populate from my messages. It’s the ultimate hub for getting things done.

Cons

The Desktop Layout Can Feel Cluttered: The web interface packs a lot into one screen—chat sidebars, labels, categories, and calendar integrations. If you prefer a clean, minimalist workspace, it can feel overwhelming and noisy unless you spend time hiding all the extra panels. Heavy Hand with the "Promotions" Tab: While the automatic filtering is usually great, Gmail can sometimes be a little too aggressive. Important receipts, newsletters you actually want to read, or account updates occasionally get buried in the Promotions or Updates tabs, forcing you to constantly hunt for them. Privacy Concerns: Because it’s a free service tied into the massive Google ecosystem, you’re always trading a bit of privacy for convenience. Knowing your data is being processed to feed smart features and targeted ads across the web doesn't sit well with everyone. The 15 GB Storage Limit Reaches Its Limit Fast: That 15 GB storage pool sounds like a lot initially, but it’s shared across Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos. If you receive a lot of large attachments, you hit that ceiling surprisingly fast, and the constant notifications to upgrade to a paid Google One plan get old quickly.

Gmail guarantees perfect traceability of important contractual correspondence and structures official communication with financial and artistic partners.

Pros

The internal search engine's efficiency is unmatched: finding an email exchange from several years ago. Direct calendar integration also simplifies scheduling production meetings.

Cons

professional signature customization sorely lacks flexibility for an industry that demands a strong visual identity.
