This is a solid and full-featured, email service that I use every day. Pros I am in love with Gmail’s method of emailing system using labels, filters, and tabs such as Primary, Social, and Promotions. So for example when I was launching a product and had lots and lots of emails to manage, it's really wound up in the snooze and schedule send kind of thing, helped me get my inbox as kind of, we say zero inbox. Integration with Google Workspace apps is another previous upgrade; they are indeed game changers. Cons The search leaves a lot to be desired, and the ads in the free version of the app can be annoying. Also, the default spam filter setting sometimes classifies important emails as spam. The spam filters and also ad filtering with labels is very effective, keeping my inbox clean and organized. Gmail is well architected and easy to manage. Pros Gmail is well integrated with a variety of other tools, and it allows me to easily craft the emails I need. I love the fact that Gmail automatically identifies promotions, social and my priority/direct email into different tabs. This saves me so much time and minimizes my inbox clutter exponentially. Cons Gmail is sometimes rejected by business websites when I am looking to download documents or other professional collateral. This isn't Gmail's fault but it is an issue. Pros Gmail's search function is extraordinary, I am able to easily find older emails, as well as emails with similar content from disparate sources. But even more impressive is the simplicity of the system in terms of organizing emails, attaching files to emails, etc... Our agency uses Google drive and gmail for all internal critical communication and documentation. Cons At times the search function is too sensitive and pulls up too many emails, perhaps AI will help improve the instructions one can input to reduce irrelevant emails.
