I can send emails from my phone or laptop through Gmail with no issues. Pros It's free no matter what internet provider you have, where as comcast or wow way emails are only valid with their service. Pros I like that Gmail has several means to manage email by using labels, etc. Cons My biggest complaint with Gmail is that when you delete a reply, it also deletes the sent email. Basically, let’s say you send an email to multiple recipients and one of the recipients sends a quick thank you reply. You open it, acknowledge and then delete the reply. This also removes the sent email and there is no history of the sent email. Not sure how to work around this other than to save all replies somewhere. Very inefficient… Review Source LS Laila S. We'll see how things play out with those features. If they continue popping up everywhere, I may have to reduce the number of stars. Pros I like almost everything about Gmail. I like the search function; I like the ability to have more than one email address all routed to the same place; I like the ease of flagging items for follow-up. Cons I absolutely hate the new AI add-ons. I do not need the computer to help me compose or read my emails. I especially hate how difficult it is to just click past the AI prompts. Pros You can manage your mailbox with a lot of functions, the best thing is the management by rules, that work very well ! I'll continue to use it for my personal and profesionnal use. I have used gmail not only for work, but for my personal email as well. Gmail integrates with all of the other Google apps. It is constantly adding features such as predictable text, appointment/task reminders, and customization. Gmail also offers two factor authentication. Pros Gmail comes with so many options and intuitive tools. It is one of the best email apps. I have loved the ability to schedule to send emails and integrate my calendar. PLUS, using a gmail account also gives you your own Google Drive, so super bonus! Cons Gmail is really the front runner in email apps. The only con would be that you lose your account after a long period of inactivity. Switched from [Microsoft Outlook](https://www.capterra.com/p/227138/Microsoft-Outlook/) I used hotmail (before it was Outlook) as my very first email, but when gmail came out with better features, I switched.
