It is great to use, the other google products make it easy to share through gmail. Pros I like how incorporated it is across the various platforms that I use! I can use my Gmail to sign in and keep track of almost all of my accounts that I currently have. Cons In the past couple years, Gmail had a data breach and after that I feel a little uneasy. The inbox customization for themes and layout are my favorite of all the email sites I've used and make it easy to look at. There are so many little features that come in handy for various tasks! " January 25, 2025 5.0 I’ve been using gmail for so long, it must’ve been when it first came out decades ago and I don’t plan to go with any other email platform anytime soon. I have three different accounts that I use for different things. to be quite honest, I’m usually surprised when people give me their email address at work and it’s not ending in Gmail. Gmail is the best option in my opinion Pros Navigation, user-friendly, lots of storage, easy to access docs and Google Drive. Cons I wish there was a better/quicker and more efficient way to delete mass amounts of old emails. Haven't had any significant issues, ever. Pros Gmail makes email management and writing easy. I don't have to think about configurations, though all the tools are still there. I always have my email with me, no need to set up an email client. The features like snoozing an email for a time and send undo are super useful. Cons Gmail being web-based is great, but I do sometimes wish I could have it as its own program, outside a browser tab. Very quick and adaptable. Also, the fact that it always links to your hokey whenever an email box is to save you time is really good. If you have Google photos,slides, or docs, they are all linked and quick to add embedded links Cons Their passkeys and password recovery system is still clammy and annoying. Sometimes even if you have all your serials you still need to approve it from your previous device which can be annoying if you don’t have it anymore or you’re switching devices. Cons I REALLY wish there was a format painter capability when drafting emails. I use format painter all the time in other Google apps and it's so handy.
