There’s no need to download anything except for on your phone or tablet if you prefer to use an app that way you can. My employees and myself use it on the computer and I enjoy that all I have to do is go to the URL and find my emails that way. I like how Gmail gives you the chance to mark contacts as VIP so that they appear first in the email. This helps me stay in touch with my employees as well as customers so I do not miss anything Cons When I Like least about the software is that sometimes SPAM creeps into my inbox even when I have it set up so SPAM is not supposed to be in my inbox it’s still sometimes creeps into my main inbox and I find that very annoying because if I need to see an email sometimes it gets lost within the SPAM and it’s also just a waste of time. The reason for this is that we already pay for Gmail storage. The Hangout is my favourite. I usually use it for group video calls at work. I've never experienced a video chat latency or issue.It's even better than the Zoom app in my opinion. At least once a day, I check my email, and I utilise Hangout at least once a week. As a result, I encourage individuals to use Gmail as a means of free communication.Its free version gives you plenty of space for emails and attachments. In addition, my Gmail account is linked to other Google services such as Google Drive, Google Maps, Google Docs, and others, allowing you to upload huge files to you from any device connected to the Internet, as well as providing high-quality security. I have reported qued mails and they resolve matters same day. Im not afraid of finding issues because the team is always available to assist. It is by far the most cost effective, user friendly and I highly reccomend it. It makes work and personal mailing convinient. Pros Gmail is indeed as they say its is mailing on another level. From the start while constructing an email options of saving as draft, attaching media clip, sending to multiple emails and many others make it user friendly fotr immediate or for later usage. As its daily user using it for personal or business is very easy as it can personalize a chat. And it has notification option allowing me to know when I have messages even when I am offline or busy with work. I also love how I dont have to be online to see messages. The notification feature makes my Gmail experience very easy. Cons With my experience it is so great that I dont have many complains, but as someone who gets many mails daily, I get space issues. So I mass delete mails frequently. I have challenges because there is no "mark all" feature when I use my phone to mass delete. I wish that option could be available for phones. Gmail also has the future of if I've been getting an email from a company for a while that I haven't opened it will offer me to unsubscribe from them so that I don't receive those emails anymore. Pros I love being able to group different emails into folders like promotions, subscriptions and the emails that I mark important. It keeps things separate and more organized so that I don't have to look through hundreds of emails that don't pertain to what I am looking for at the time I'm able to just pull up what I need and it's very simple. I also have multiple emails and I love the feature of being able to either look at them separately or look at all of my emails all together. Gmail also does a great job of saving my contacts so that every time I'm going to send an email I just have to type the first or second letter and it pops up right away, very hassle free and a good use of time. It is fairly simple to import email to workspace, and much easier than the usual complicated email migrations! However, the admin dashboard access is always a little bit of a dance for a single proprietor or small business. E.g. just being able to change a personal profile picture, or access calenders etc. is switched off by default. It may be better to default the same settings as gmail for new single users, so they don't need to dig around or be overwhelmed with the basics. Or, perhaps expand the setup to include deciding if users show profile photo's, name title, calendars etc. to get them going. I still recommend it, but only if I can help them set it up, it can be a bit overwhelming for some tech-nervous clients. Cons I use filter rules a lot to manage subscriptions, orders etc. They are quite hidden away in settings, and rather binary just listing rules instead of named options. I often need to clear it all out and start again as there are overlaps. \*@email doesn't seem to work hugely well, but the detailed options for sending to folders or labelling etc. work well. Inbox folders unread, - there are currently only 4 options, would be nice to have more! (e.g. inbox, starred, 1 selected filter folder and the remainder.) I would recommend double accounts for people who use Gmail a lot and would benefit from having separate accounts to keep track of business/personal/etc. Pros I am obsessed with Gmail and have recently opened up a new account for my author business. I am thankful for the extra storage space that allows me to work on the cloud in conjunction with my email through Google Drive. I like how easy it is to use, how the updates auto-fill emails, how I can organize groups of contacts and email everyone at once, how I can save drafts, etc. The list goes on and on. Cons There was a little while there where I couldn't mark my emails as unread, they would disappear. I don't find that as an issue anymore but it was definitely inconvenient at the time. I like the filters feature, where I can divy up emails into folder when they come in automatically, but it was a challenge to set those up so I kind of gave up on them. After about 7 days of constant use, I was moving through the program easily. When they added the ability to suit across all devices Gmail became an invaluable tool. To this day I use this email powerhouse for a myriad of everyday tasks, including keeping track of tasks.. Pros Gmail is a very customizable, very easy-to-understand email application. You can send multiple emails save and store contacts and a variety of other things. On a more personal now. I have used Gmail since 1998 and it's the go-to program for all my business, personal, family, and recreational needs. I have a used ti for marketing, coordinating events, responding to customers, and even just signing up for social media accounts. Its very widely used and accepted everywhere. If you use Email then you should have Gmail Cons I only wish I could use email in thin air in front of me using an invasive light projector.
