I archive all important documents that come in via email because it's basically a secure free cloud. I don't know what I would do without it, similar services are not as efficient, usable, easy and fast. To me, the biggest benefits are the ease of creating and using multiple accounts, the better-than-average search feature, and the powerful filtering feature. These three aspects are key to keeping me organized—I can separate personal, professional, and spam content, quickly navigate past emails to find key terms from past messages, and set up automatic features that keep my inbox clean while still enabling me to save all the emails I'm interested in receiving. I'm also really loving Gmail's integration with my Calendar(?), which pulls important deadline dates from my emails and gives me push notifications to remind me to take action! Cons Over the past few years, I've only had two major concerns about Gmail! First, I don't find the Social and Promotions inboxes to be well-designed enough to be worth using. The delineations tend to feel arbitrary, and I don't personally find it to be a time-saver. I would personally prefer inbox options that made it easier to pull out emails TRULY sent directly to me (not sent to an email list or even BCC recipients) and perhaps an inbox that pulled out emails mentioning dates/timelines/expiration dates so that I could prioritize those. Second, I find the Auto-Responder system frustratingly basic. Right now, it suffices to set out of office alerts for vacations, but it's a bit "all or nothing"—on or off, directed to everyone or not. I would like to see two options: (1) the ability to set recurring Auto-Responders to reflect recurring time off or similar and (2) the ability to set Auto-Responders to reply only to those with whom a user has NOT previously corresponded. Right now, the system allows users to set responses to Contacts Only, but adding every person with whom one corresponds to one's contacts is incredibly time-consuming. Being able to do so in bulk or use another workaround would be incredibly helpful! Pros I like the different categories of inboxes such as personal, social and promotions. This saves tons of time as I don’t to filter unwanted email. I can manage my contacts and files in the emails. Gmail effectively filer the spams and junk emails which could hack your days with fake link. It gives suggestions of contacts while typing names in the sender so contact management is very easy. It doesn’t send notifications for spam emails so it saves a lot of time for me. Cons The attachment of document is sometimes difficult which can only be possible if we upload the file first in Google drive and then send it as a link. However many receivers face difficulties in opening that file link and reports that they can’t access the file. This could be improved by fixing the capacity of attachment of a file. It’s the best email option out there by a long shot. Pros Gmail is now more or less the standard in most workplaces and for good reason. The email boxes come with a lot of storage, ample security and and overall pleasant interface. There are ways to create folders and filters and the search functionality can help you find even the most obscure email. Files live inside the emails, so you essentially have backup copies of important files if you send them to anyone. It’s hard not to like gmail for all of these reasons. Cons Gmail is good, but it’s not perfect. I’ve had important emails land in spam because incredibly stringent spam filters are the default. Gmail also periodically glitches on my iPhone. Something about the interface of Apple’s email app and gmail’s login periodically causes my account to require a re-login on my phone. Cons I would like to be able to undertake a web search directly from gmail, a web search tab within gmail would save time closing one app and opening another, plus a search from gmail could auto fill registration when prompted. If a site asks you to enter all your details, they can be populated automatically because you are searching from a secure login. The aforementioned auto-login would have to be subject to the website and security measures. Gmail is a very easy application to use since in the main screen you can see all your messages directly, besides this you have a menu in the left part of the screen where you can choose the messages of promotion, social and normal messages, apart you have other options such as sent messages, spam erased among others ... Another incredible thing about this app is that you can change gmail accounts very quickly and easily since it allows you to log several accounts at the same time and change them with a single click. the app is also very fast, the time that you have to wait for the new and old messages to load is very fast and this is an advantage when you want to respond to messages quickly, besides it has the function of writing several messages at the same time and leaving them as drafts waiting for you to come back and finish them and this is great! You can link other accounts, sync accounts, and have access to this software on your mobile, laptop, tablet and desk top computer! I've been using it for 10+ plus years and proud to say Yes I use Gmail! Cons There really is not anything about this software that I don't like but if I would have to say something about what I least like about the software is that when I block an email or sender I wish that it would delete as well not send it to trash. Just completely delete. And on mobile it is so hard to delete a group of messages on mobile you can on the delete one at a time so if you have a 567 emails you have to delete that all one by one there's no option to select all. Cons The thing I liked least about this software is that important emails are often categorized as spam and I have a hard time finding them. The other thing I do not like the most is when you have a lot of unread emails it is really tedious to clear them one page at a time. I open and check my mail every day and I do this very quickly. It blocks spam e-mails before they get in my way, saves me time, so I'm protected from viruses. I also like the timer part, it can send the mail without me when I want. Apart from that, the extension is very compatible with other sites and does not cause any difficulties. Cons What I don't like is actually my security and privacy concern. I am worried about my data being stolen and shared. I don't know how useful it is to increase security measures. Also, when sending an e-mail, I think the size of the ones added to the content should be increased.
