Gmail ha grande spazio, solo di bozze ne ho saltate un migliaio e quando mi serve qualcosa, uso la funzione ricerca: metto un sostantivo e gmail mi trova la mail in un nanosecondo. Lo stesso vale per i contatti, metti l'inizio della email e poi gmail automaticamente suggerisce il completamento automatico tra varie opzioni. Lo trovo comodissimo. Metto gli indesiderati nello spam e me li levo per sempre. Poi gmail distingue tra la pubblicita' (che solitamente son promozioni) e la posta in arrivo: così io apro prima la posta in arrivo che gmail mi evidenzia comodamente, poi vedo le promozioni e successivamente lo spam. A volte vado nel cestino e "recupero" qualcosa, spostandolo nella posta in arrivo. E' comodissimo gmail, lo trovo comodo e mi muovo perfettamente con essa. Gmail syncs the accounts and notifies you when you receive an email for each separate account. The search feature is a high value feature as you can avoid searching through multiple emails by searching for it. You can star messages that you want to go back to and mark as important if you need to. This feature helps to keep your work organised and helps you prioritize your emails from most important to least important. Gmail also gives you the option of blocking an email address to prevent the person from sending you emails. This is very useful considering that an email address is not as private as a cellphone number and so a lot of people might have access to it especially in a business environment. What I also like about Gmail is how long you can keep using it without needing an upgrade. It has a long life span but, it is a very professional application. Gmail is also integrated with google drive, docs and sheets which is very beneficial. Cons Gmail does not really have a lot of cons except that you cannot use it offline and google drive will at some point require you to purchase additional space. What can I say- I just love it! It is one of the few things I have not upgraded from, instead, It has adapted to the ever-changing world of technology. In my many years of using this email for work, school, and personal- I am still impressed and fascinated with all they continue to do to improve it for our benefit. They (Gmail Team) do help and care for their customers (us) I have experienced issues that were taken care of fast and effectively- almost to my amazement sometimes. Nothing is perfect but Gmail is practically flawless in that respect. I would definitely recommend it to a friend but they are probably already enjoying it as well. Pros Gmail is one of my favorite and most used email servers for business and personal use. Its interface is easy simple to use, widely accepted and from my experience- Safe. Gmail and google services have made integration remarkably simple at this point. Moving files, exchanging calendars, sharing data and photos, starting/closing emails, etc. I have been using Gmail for over 10 years and it has a lot of space and the price is outstanding–Free. I have observed over the years numerous email-server companies fail by offering way less in features and protection than Gmail for a “low” monthly fee. I am a witness to the growth and simplicity of its platform. In my top 5 emails for everyday uses. Cons There are not very many things I do not like about this email but over the years here are a couple of things I have noticed that do bother and/or concern me. Privacy and Data Collection- Adwords are everywhere- and the reason is because of the information they are fetching from the first time you use any Google product. I am not an expert on this but I’m pretty sure if when I make purchases online- For example, I purchased “flour” - then I start seeing “flour” ads in my email or home screen or search results for something non-related- I used to think it was a coincidence until I read up about the privacy guideline of the said “free” cost. So that being said- With business concerns- to start out it is great for getting your feet wet. But with all the data privacy breaches and leaks- better off keeping sensitive/private data to a different type of email server. My second peeve is that you can back up or download your email and at any given moment, similar to bitcoin, google servers could crash and there’s nothing you could do about it. There is no backing up unless you are making paper copies of emails and pertinent data. So, I found it unreliable in the sense of organization and using it as a real business email. The day-to-day tasks are a breeze – but the idea of losing business-related data – would keep any responsible adult up at night. That's where the encrypted email servers win. It also was my only way to communicate with some folks when I lived abroad. And the reminders from my billing are beyond vital. Love Gmail! Pros I can schedule emails for birthdays, appointments, anything. THat's what I like best. Other clients don't seem to do that as well or at all and it is really important to me. Email is the first thing in my day, checking orders, payments, and much more. It rules the roost! Pros Inbox management features are decently robust, customize-able features allow me to optimize my workflows, and the spam/filter features work incredibly well. Cons The search feature works on a basic level to "get the job done" when looking for an old email or specific phrase, but I find the user interface as well as the search results to be a little lackluster. Search results pull up entire email threads and require that you dig through the entire thread to find the search item in question.
