This is a very efficient email software Cons It took a little getting used to when they updated the software and split the type of emails into different sub categories, but I have gotten used to it now. But I also use the calendar function if someone sends me an invite from Google. Pros The most important to me is that it's such a high-quality app and its free to me. Also, it's the most used app in our industry so things like goggle meet work nicely for me and my coworkers and other business partners. Cons The only Con I have is if we are working from an iPhone or using the calendar function on our iPhone google does not allow you to mark your date and time that was set for a meeting with an apple device. There's a reason it's so popular." February 2, 2026 5.0 Pros I would be remis to not say how great Gmail is as a free application. It's been the default for many for that reason. It's simple to use, there aren't ever any major bugs or issues (that I've noticed), and I've found the customization ability for the background and folders to be helpful. Cons It lacks some functionality that other paid email applications have, such as Outlook. To my knowledge, there isn't a way to flag things as important, but many other aspects of it are the same to other applications. I also pay for extra Google Drive storage, so all my email attachments and communications over the past 20 years are saved. I trust it and will continue to use. I also have multiple accounts and switching is easy. I love that you can sign in with google in multiple services too. Pros I got gmail when it first came out and have used it ever since. It is so reliable and has great integration with storage tools like Google Drive and Docs functionalities. It has useful features too and is easy to use. Cons The occasional UI changes and changes to icons sometimes throw me off, but this is rare and often not an issue. For example, they once changed the 'new email' icon to a multicolored cross. There is easy management of emails and useful features including scheduled emails. Pros A reliable, free, full functional email provider with easy integration and a super mobile app to send, read and manage emails on the move. Cons Having used Gmail for well over a decade I can't say that I have encountered any major issues with the platform. A minor tweak would be the ability to create new labels via the mobile app, rather than only from the desktop. There is no such platform on the market that gives such possibility. Pros Its biggest easy to use platform and consequently its most advanced one to menage your emails. I don't see any other option at shit moment to change it on anything else. No bugs and issues. Very stable. Cons It has problems with archived attachment, sometimes it consider them as virus one. The ads are never obnoxious and generally tailored to tastes and interests. Both the app and browser version are easy to use. I can't recall experiencing a bug or issue with Gmail. The design customization options are better than any mail software I've used. Gmail is definitely my preferred mail software. Cons If I had to choose something that I like least about Gmail, it would be the phone app. Typically the formatting is a bit better and more user friendly when Gmail is incorporated into the Mail App on my phone, but I still utilize both. I find the ease of use for reporting any uses to costumer support is great for the value for the money for storage. Also minimal bugs and issues. I really like the ease of design customization and customization options Cons It seems to not have much space allowed without having to pay more and more for it. It’s hard to beat how seamlessly it ties into the rest of Google Workspace. Searching through old emails is quick, and the spam filter is one of the best out there. Cons Customization is limited. You can change themes and tweak labels, but compared to other platforms there’s not much room to make Gmail feel truly “yours.” Reporting and analytics for things like email campaigns are also pretty barebones. Obviously is industry defining in terms of value, how easy it is to use, the least amount of bugs, easy customer support, how easy it is to customize and how many options you have, and great for spam and fraudulent emails. Cons There isnt much i dislike about Gmail, maybe that sometimes it flags some emails as spam, but that happens in every email tool.
