I was able to sign up for and use a slew of websites and applications thanks to it, and the process was seamless and simple. Pros I love Gmail's user interface, how it can be customized so that incoming email is automatically sorted by content, so you can easily read it and find the most important ones. I also like the feature of blocking unwanted messages and saving them in a separate file. I also like the security standards that it has so that it alerts you when you click on any link that may have an unreliable source. I love how you can archive and save messages and also how easy it is to search and find them. I also like how to format the content of outgoing messages, in terms of changing the font size and color, as well as adding images and attachments, and also adding contacts. I also like how the mobile app syncs with the desktop so that you find the same content in both cases, and the mobile app is very similar to the desktop app as it gives you enough flexibility to read and send messages. I also like that Gmail is a reference for all Google applications that can be used by logging in with it. Cons I don't think there are things that I don't like about Gmail, as it is very ideal, as the user can within a minute create his own Gmail for free, and has many features to manage emails and contacts and also save attachments with ease. Reason for choosing Gmail Gmail was my first alternative, i always wanted to make the change but was stuck in outlook, but when i lost my third email i just made it. I have to check Gmail every hour for all the mails. In this pandemic period, it helped me a lot in being connected with my colleagues. Basically , I can't think of my professional life without it. I can blindly trust this application and would recommend it to everyone. Pros There are a lot of features and I'm impressed with every single feature. I can connect with anyone in this world in a few seconds. Its feature of auto-generating the sentences is really amazing like it feels like it's reading my mind though it helps me save a lot of time. It's labelling the mail feature is so good I can directly find out which mail is promotional, which one is from my social media handles. I can star the important mails and can find it in the starred tab which is very useful. Its spam folder saves me from a lot of spams. Gmail has added an in-built feature of Meet which is really great I can directly join meetings from the gmail without moving on different software. Cons It's really amazing software but I would like to ask for the feature of auto add Bcc while composing a mail by which there will not be any need for adding Bcc again and again manually. Currently, I'm using an outer software extension for this thing but if Gmail creates this feature then it will be very helpful. Pros Gmail is the most user-friendly email platform/app I have used. I enjoy the customizable features of it, like being able to change theme colours, having folders, and even in the inbox divided into categories. Gmail has great accuracy when categorizing your actual mail vs spam, social, or marketing emails. It almost feels like you have an assistant helping you sort out your mail on a daily basis. I really like how I can consolidate all my emails from different accounts and outlook on the Gmail app, so I don't need to constantly check them separately. Cons I do not like how you have to pay for additional space. I am constantly getting warning emails from Gmail telling me I have no space left, and I need to delete mail or files pretty frequently. I also wish there was an easier way to delete emails on the phone app. Right now you have to select the email then delete it. However, when you want to archive an email, all you need to do is swipe. It is, by far, the leading industry in Electronic Mail. Gmail is recognized and integration through many other programs is what has helped me save a lot of money. I would recommend gmail over any other email. Pros I appreciate the different categories where you can receive all primary mail in one tab, all promotional mail in one tab and, of course, all updated mail in one tab. This is truly genius. If there is no time to check all less important email, you can just go to your updated emails and complete them in less time. The Filter works very well with Gmail. It makes it extremely easy to search for important emails. Once you categorize and place into different tabs, it is easy to search for the exact email you are looking for which allows me to respond quickly expidite express orders. Vacation Auto responder and Auto reply works extremely well which allows me time to complete more important task, in essence, doing more things in less time. They not at all hard to set up. I set up vacation responder for times that I will not be working at all and I set up auto reply during office hours. The spam blocker filters all excess email away from my important mail and places it in spam file folder. Cons The search feature could be improved upon. When you search for an email, you are not sure what category it is in when it comes up. If you have forgotten if you have moved that email to a different folder, there should be some indication where that particular email is located.
