This allows for a seamless exchange of information. Cons I do not like how calendar invitations can be deleted by anyone who is currently invited to the meeting. I would like to lock this permission. Additionally, there are no flaws or problems with the software, making it easy to use. Pros Gmail is a fantastic free platform with a lot of advantages. Both on desktop and mobile, I think it's well-organised. I haven't encountered any glitches or problems with this platform, and it syncs to Google Drive and documents, which is useful. It is a well-liked platform with a svelte style. They have precautions for safety in place as well. Cons Well for now , there has been no cons from me about Gmail . There was no bugs issues, customer support is friendly with quick response. It is easy to use and works on all devices. Pros Gmail is my go to both professionally and personally. It makes logging in easier, I like the format and ease of using Gmail as well. Cons The Con of Gmail is that sometimes emails can get "lost" within email streams if you do not constantly change the subject line. The search bar is more intuitive than other emails however gmail has a very short set up time and is fairly easy to customize. February 2, 2026 5.0 Pros I would be remis to not say how great Gmail is as a free application. It's been the default for many for that reason. It's simple to use, there aren't ever any major bugs or issues (that I've noticed), and I've found the customization ability for the background and folders to be helpful. Cons It lacks some functionality that other paid email applications have, such as Outlook. To my knowledge, there isn't a way to flag things as important, but many other aspects of it are the same to other applications. I use it for all personal communications, but I prefer other software for my school or work communications. It should be #1 for a reason - simple, widely used, and stores emails and contacts easily. Pros Gmail is easily the most used app for email of ours. My wife and I both use this as our preferred email service as it houses everything you need in a much better user interface. Cons Oftentimes it will log you into separate work related emails and it can be cumbersome switching back and forth all of the time. I prefer to keep these completely separate and so it can be challenging going back and forth. There's nothing distracting when you login, and it's easy to setup folders for different categories of email if you need to. Cons Nothing comes to mind. It just works as you need it to. It integrates easily with Google's other offerings too. June 4, 2025 5.0 I have been using Gmail for a long time and love the ease of use, the personalization options (color, backgrounds, etc.) as well as all of the other many settings so that I can really make it my own. Pros The ease of use and the options to personalize. All of my emails come in in a clear easy to read way. I like that I can personalize how they are ordered, how they are sorted and what the screen in general looks like. Cons I do not currently have me email set to automatically reply to all. Sometimes, I would like to reply all and having to remember to select that as an option is a problem for me. Or alternatively, if I have the option choosen, remembering not to select all. However, this is user error problem more than a problem with Gmail because I like that I have the option to choose and am not stuck one way or the other. I even use Gmail for my construction business, using their Google Workspace. It works great when paired with Squarespace. Pros THE email platform. If you do not use Gmail, you're not emailing right! I love how easily I can connect all of my google products and add stuff from other google products into my gmail. Such as pulling files from my google drive, to pulling dates from my google calendar. Amazing product! Cons I wish there was a more controlled spam filter that doesn't allow any marketing services to reach out to you. June 1, 2025 5.0 Though I love gmail as a consumer, as a marketer I do hate that my email land in the Promotions folder by default. Getting out of Promotions is a constant battle. Also as a consumer I like that I can drag certain emails to the social or promotions category and have future emails that I want go directly to these lists in the future. Pros I am a GOOGLE fanatic. Gmail has been by far the best way for me to communicate since AOL. I've been using it literally for over 25 years and would never consider another email program. Cons I used to be able to pull in other email addresses I've use on other platforms in the past, like my old AOL address where I still receive some communications. However Gmail no longer supports that. But I also use the calendar function if someone sends me an invite from Google. Pros The most important to me is that it's such a high-quality app and its free to me. Also, it's the most used app in our industry so things like goggle meet work nicely for me and my coworkers and other business partners. Cons The only Con I have is if we are working from an iPhone or using the calendar function on our iPhone google does not allow you to mark your date and time that was set for a meeting with an apple device. You can instantly communicate with peers, businesses, coworkers, and stores through Gmail. I’ve used this service for 10 plus years and it’s very, very rarely let me down. Cons Sometimes important mail will be sent to my “Spam” or “Promotions” folder. I don’t like that, because I’ll be thinking that I didn’t get an email when actually I had it the whole time. I also pay for extra Google Drive storage, so all my email attachments and communications over the past 20 years are saved. I trust it and will continue to use. I also have multiple accounts and switching is easy. I love that you can sign in with google in multiple services too. Pros I got gmail when it first came out and have used it ever since. It is so reliable and has great integration with storage tools like Google Drive and Docs functionalities. It has useful features too and is easy to use. Cons The occasional UI changes and changes to icons sometimes throw me off, but this is rare and often not an issue. For example, they once changed the 'new email' icon to a multicolored cross.
