Pros It is one of the most simple email program. I am using this from my student life to my corporate life, and still, now I am having a great time using Gmail to do my work and sync some of my data together in one account. Since the categories of mails are divided so I don't have to look for every advertisement email. This is also a very useful tool to communicate with other people while keeping the previous transaction and chat record. It helps me a lot to communicate with my customers and sending them a quick reply. Easy to use from laptop and mobile both. Cons Gmail need to upgrade and widen their free online storage limit. The account delete option from mobile should need to be upgraded. I couldn't delete my mail account from my mobile phone without any trace. After deleting the account it still shows my inbox emails. The hardest thing to use in this application is to change the mail settings. Sometimes Gmail caught important mails as spam as a result I had to face a hard time finding specific emails. Fast, free and stable, with spam protection, very easy to use, and can send emails to multiple people with one click. Gmail is not just about mail, it also allows users to send attachments and import parts such as subject, label, sender, recipient, date, etc. I can sit in front of any computer, phone, or tablet, open a web page, log in, and see my emails. All of my preferences are saved. I don't need to hire a technician to set it up; simply log in and go. While I prefer to use the search feature, the fact that there is no installation or maintenance fee saves me hundreds of dollars that I would have paid on a professional to set it up and maintain it otherwise. When I moved to a new company that used GSuite, I was very against it at first. Fast forward months and over a year now, and I 100% believe that Gmail is better for businesses than Outlook. The shared inbox features, plugins, customization ability, browser-interface, and many other things are all superier. Pros Gmail is extremely customizable, plain and simple. Being able to install plugins that rapidly transform Gmail into a tool that can do almost anything is something that Outlook just doesn't have. My two favorite plugins are Drag and GMass, highly recommend. GMail is fantastic for companies that require a high degree of collaboration, and for those who like to incorporate project management directly into their email platform. Cons The advanced functions of Gmail are not very user-friendly. There are many, many secrets to Gmail and ways to transform it that a person would never know without reading articles or having prior experience. I highly recommend spending time learning and deciding how you wish to structure your email account, and then also installing various plugins to aid your desired plan at the start of your journey. Pros Gmail as a email tool is very easy to use be it for personal email or official mail using google workspace. Straight to the point UI makes it very easy for anyone to navigate the features and use it, you can easily create the labels and categorize your email accordingly. Mobile app of Gmail is one of the best email app I have ever used. Cons Whenever you are using Gmail as a part of Google Workspace to send a file which is very large, by default it will show a message saying "File is very large" but along with that there should be an option to attach the same in form of Google Drive, the way it is there with teams. Also sometime when you have a recurring meeting (either on google meet or zoom) and if there is any changes to the timings, it doesn't update the calendar automatically until unless you accept the changed invitation. One of most sad part of Gmail is we can not get back our account if we forget our password. I am really upset with Gmail on this part. Even I use my own phone number, email I was not able to get back. I got code on my Phone, code on email but at last it says "Google couldn't verify this account belongs to you". I have tried to get back my account many times, even I contact customer support but it did not work. There may be many users like me and They are all looking and waiting to improve this issue. Also they could add an option to "block mail from a certain sender in the future", this would help a lot for this spam mail issue.
