It has maintained consistency and improved its functionality. I liked it so much, I decided to go with GSuite, over Microsoft, for my business. Pros I love how it looks and that it is consistent across all platforms. Cons I wish it was a bit easier to sort. I have historically been an Outlook user and did not realize how heavily I relied on the sorting by sender. I know it can be done in Gmail, but in my line of work, I can't always remember the sender's exact name, sometimes just a first letter. Logs me and my employees out at least once a month and asks us to reverify ourselves. Pros I love the fact gmail, unlike other email providers retains your emails. I will go to look for important information and it will be there! So easy to use, I love that I can create labels to keep everything organized. It is also free which makes it great value! Cons It has a lot of bugs with logging in and staying logged in. I use gmail to create work emails for my employees. It asks for a phone number to make sure your human and won't accept mine more than 2 times. I need it to be mine for monitoring and recovery purposes if they were to leave the company so once it is created, I then have an extra step of changing the recovery phone number. I like the availability of design customization which makes it more efficient. Gmail has an incredible customer support team as they are very knowledgeable and helpful.Gmail also has a great value for money. Also, I cant get in contact with customer support without having to go through multiple links. It has a well renowned reputation and is useful as a tool to sign in to other websites. Cons The conversation view on email chains can be confusing. The Gmail website is less intuitive than Microsoft Outlook for dealing with emails. It is fairly easy to unsubscribe to certain emails with its new(ish) tab of Subscriptions. Pros I like the customization option available for the interface of the site. Having dark mode as an option allows staring at the screen to be easier on my eyes. It is easy to use allowing any age group to navigate the site. Cons There are not a lot of cons to go over. I have been using Gmail for several years now. I would say a recent inconvenience that I have run into is the fact that I cannot listen to solely audio recording in Gmail without download an extension to assist. It's still free and doesn't have too many ads. I do wish there was a higher limit for free storage. I'll continue to use, since it works for me. I never have glitches and performance is fast. User friendly no matter your digital experience. Pros In general: Being able to unsend a message within a minute of sending is a life saver! It saves me from little mistakes that I notice only a second too late. As for management, it is easy to sort through users, delete or add users, or contact admins to reinstate (or retrieve info from) an email that was deleted on accident. Definitely built to support large teams. I like that we can have several users and professional emails at once. We even have employees with identical names, and we are able to keep them straight within our Gmail by tweaking things (email addresses, profile names) to tell them apart. Cons For email usage: Please change the "swipe to archive" function. I attempt to scroll down but then I accidentally archive something (sometimes I dont even notice) and then I cant find where they go after that. Google provides a free email address and 15 GB for anyone who needs to send and receive important mails. For business, managing domain mails is a pro, and nowhere else do I see it. It's easy to use for students and owners starting their activity. Cons I faced forwarding issues many times when I wanted to filter some important mails and avoid receiving promotions in my pro email address.
